I 100% believe that emma is the next gen of twisting religion hiding behind a convoluted perversion of lds to get away w murdering for life insurance payouts. She woll just use what has been learned from lori and Chads mistakes and be more savvy in execution future murder plan. For instance, making sure she has an ironclad alibi, ensuring not to create any digital evidence in the planning and executing stages. Basically being super careful. She thinks shes more intelligent than everyone else. Shes devious and unbothered, imo, about being judged by anyone or by society. Imo, she would easily have the audacity to totally go for it, murdering for life insurance payout. If she can figure out how to make a murder look like an accident and there be no evidence w/ --to connect her to the crime'--she wouldnt care that everyone would "know" she did it;as long as she collected the payout.

Garth Daybell is an adult, a husband, a father and a teacher. He is a free man who had FIVE long years to stop lying about his murdered mother and tell the truth. He needed to make a CHOICE, like many others did. He CHOSE to lie. He is indeed indoctrinated, as they all are, but he made a conscious choice to lie, knowing very well that it was wrong and against the law. He betrayed his poor mother's memory to help his murderous father evade legal consequences of his crimes. Garth Daybell is NOT the victim here! He is a free man who holds responsibility for many little ones, and he could have broken free, like many other cult members did. If he chose to lie due to fear, that makes him a coward, not a victim. Nothing prevents him from getting professional help, but he needs to face the consequences for lying for a murderer first. Let's stop this misplaced compassion and remember the REAL victims.

Garth found her and Chud and Garth took 3-4 hours to come up with an excuse before calling 911. She was dead before Garth came home at 1:00, so sick he would cover for his Sicko dad. Even sadder he only missed 1 day of work, WTF!! When my dad passed after fighting cancer I missed almost 2 weeks of work, what a POS!

Garth is a liar. This is why Garth said on the stand he felt threatened by the prosecution to change his testimony before charges came down.
"It was pretty plain that I needed to change my story to fit theirs," he said in response to a question from John Prior, the attorney for Daybell.
"And the event you didn't change your story, you'd be indicted by the grand jury?" Prior asked.
"Yes, and they had a list of charges that they were threatening me with," Garth said.

@EASTIDAHONEWS. Garth found her at 1am....she was in rigor mortis at 6 when 911 was called. WHY DIDN'T GARTH CALL 911 BEFORE 6 ???

I don’t think the jurors will give much credence to the family testimony on this. How can you defend 2 children’s bodies being buried in your backyard. I mean WHAT A TOTAL IDOT!

So the part about Alex's phone being 2+ miles down the road at the LDS church night of Tammy's murder...Chad drove and picked Alex up from the LDS parking lot brought him to his house(😞Chad\Alex suffocated Tammy) Chad drove Alex back to the LDS church where Alex kept his car and phone in his car and why his phone pinged from there all that time. That could be the reason MacKay shared what Garth said his Dad wasn't home when he found his Mom. (my opinion) Emma and Garth are total and complete failures in life to ever lie about things to cover for a murderer...Tammy Douglas deserved so much more...

Prior never knows what to do when he crosses a witness and they throw the truth at him.I love it.

Now we know why Chad didn't call 911. He wasn't there.

I don't know why Garth wouldn't have called 911 right away, but he probably had to wait to talk to his dad for "further instruction".

Now we know why the lividity and rigormortis were already set in. We all knew the story was a lie, but this kid's minor detail of the truth, most certainly connected the dots.

I believe this kid is telling the truth. Garths version of events sounded way too rehearsed.

When my dad died i was off work for months. There's no way i could have gone back to work the next day or following week and my dad's death was expected. We knew he was near the end. I had to deal with a sudden death of a sibling and that was devastating. These kids are some cold hearted people. They heard their dad talking about Tammy dying before she did and did nothing. Poor Tammy.

Well after watching his testimony today, I just realized that BOTH Emma and Garth LIED under oath. Am I surprised? Not at all Remember Cads statement “ my kids are good at keeping secrets.” Wow…..
