Kudos to Josh for leaving the awkward situation in time
I was thinking the same 😅
best decision of his life. although he sounded sober enough to know what happened if he was there and could clarify which of those two nimrods was full of sh!t
He probably could have saved his friend tho and he has to live with that
Maybe it was Josh whodunnit? Hmmm 😮
If he had stayed maybe the murder wouldn't had happened
Josh made a very wise decision to call it a night for himself
Best decision he had ever made in his life.
Maybe he knew their plan
You got that right!
@@jasond869 I don't thing there was a "plan": but he chose a good time to get the hell out of it!

That 911 call was one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever heard. I could feel my face getting hot with every “I don’t know” she says 😭
It was so grating... I skipped over it. LOL.
Same here. God, she was out of it
Same, I think that's why they changed operator mid call
I feel like she was trying to protect her bf and didn’t wanna say anything that could incriminate him. Their interactions in the room was telling, he complained and she was trying to pacify him, maybe she was flirtatious because she was unhappy
You have anger issues.
The way she reacted to hearing he was dead was like my reaction to “your card was decline for this $300 loan”
“Oh my god how did this happen?”
Girl didn’t even try to act upset
Lmao
Gday she did it and got away with it ..just another case of female privilege.. but someday..someone will no doubt catch her...and she will get hers...in my opinion
Yes, like most woman she is a PSYCHOPATH!!!

Yeah, she was clearly the one that did it. But because she is a female he got held in jail.
Totes, she's defs guilty maybe not 100%, but she defs should've done some time alongside Rahoul

I like how your vids are not over done

The scariest part for me is that neither Rahul or Taylor show ANY emotion regarding their so-called friend's death. Those are two very disturbed individuals.
You can literally hear Rahul crying on the 911 call.
Taylor's reaction to hearing Mark is dead is absolutely atrocious.
she did it , and scott free . very privileged

Awwww! So sweeet! A breath of fresh air!
You left out the part where you stabbed him to death.
I can't believe she was not charged. She was clearly very involved.
Ikr? That argument about her not being strong enough to do it is so bullshit too, they think only men can murder.
Her hair was in Mark's hand! She had a mark on her hand from the knife!
Super privileged
Female privilege.
Something weird happened. She was obviously screwing the friend. He might have play to her guilty conscience to have her lie to cover up for it. I’m sure she knows she created the whole situation.
i can’t believe i just came across this channel! the effort that’s put into these videos truly shows and is greatly appreciated! actual JCS inspired content!
Yeah, this channel is the closest to JCS videos. I like this style the best.
She hits on his friends because she LOVES the jealousy and the drama, particularly when she’s drunk! It just spun out of control that night, which is why she feels guilty and resists throwing him under the bus. He stabbed him, but she made sure he had a reason to.
Drama queen.
She had all the blood on her. She stabbed him.
Exactly. Josh’s testimony was telling. She was gonna hit on any one of his friends that night, it was completely calculated.
And that is why you keep your gf and your friend(s) separated. ( up to reasonable extent ofc)
It will always lead to trouble.
You don't even know if that's true. Sounds like you love the drama lol. There's no real evidence that Taylor was flirting or cheating.
There is no way Rahul saw Taylor “cheating” on him with Mark in Rahul’s own apartment and just “sat down and did his own thing”. Like, come on man. That makes zero sense.
he said that a few times, like what was he doing then?
Mark was his best friend. I've seen that reaction before. Not every man loses his shit and gets violent when he discovers his best friend cheating.
@@Brainbuster I didn’t say all men get violent, but nobody just sits there all “damn dude, this is horrible, better sit down and watch as it happens I guess”
Maybe both are true. He "did his own thing" for a while before killing him. That would actually make sense since she was asleep.
Her just waking up, drunk and stoned, not sure of what happened or what the ramifications of telling the truth would mean, would make her apparently bizarre behavior over the phone make perfect sense.
Cucks are a thing , don’t kink shame
I gave up alcohol after the second time I woke up with a complete blackout of the previous nights events. It was reported my behaviour was atrocious and extremely offensive to my dear friends and other patrons of the bar.
I didn’t want to give up, I loved Jameson, but the blackouts were serious and something terrible was going to happen if I didn’t stop. To this day I can only remember one tiny fragment of the last night drinking and I’m lucky I didn’t get my head kicked in.
Cheers for another excellent video.
@@user-dw4cs4xv8y well done for avoiding the temptation. I think a couple of drinks in a social environment are fine, even healthy, however I think I was close to being an alcoholic and could easily finish a 700ml bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey during an evening of drinking. The memory blackouts alarmed me and were quite a profound “wake up call”.

Agree still not sold and I have watched a bunch of these. His dad asked why he is in jail that all on the phone call depends on how you take that phone call but for me it was not enough. Was that it on the call is there something I am missing bc everyone saying ohh the phone call got him
Yes absolutely astonished is fair because its a false imprisonment and the killer got away, clear to anyone with a brain she killed him, the way she was acting in the phone call at the beginning is all you need if you have intuition, that is a murderer clear as day, shocking they messed up so bad with the verdict
@@benjamim8046i think it's unironically a white female privilege
She 10000% had something to do with it you can tell. She remembers exactly what happened
She's still incredibly intoxicated at this initial interrogation, I believe she doesn't know anything at this point cause she's still drunk af. She knows after she sober up tho
Absolutely, very clear to anyone with a brain she would remember that, even when your black our drunk and high you still remember bits of shit that might happen to you especially more intense stuff, if you fucking stab someone your going to remember, and you can tell by the way she acts shes lying so clearly
If my friend had been murdered in my apartment and I was in custody, I don't think I would be that hungry.
Maybe Rahul was hangry and needed a Snickers, and that's why he killed Mark.
You're not yourself when you're hungry.
He’s the kind of guy who’s chucking his girlfriend under the bus and telling her to ask for a lawyer for him at the same time.
But he had to poop! 😂
I've been around people who have serious hypoglycemia. That could have possibly been the case.
I know right? What a reprehensible couple of monsters. "I don't know." OMG. They're not even slurring their words or stumbling around. No way were they so drunk that they don't remember.
Rahul's call to his dad from jail was a pretty damning piece of evidence for me. Once I heard that, all my weighing, wavering, and wondering pretty much stopped. While we will likely never know with perfect certainty exactly what happened, that phone call gets us as close to what happened as we'll ever get and no jury could easily explain away and move past that bombshell.
Yes, I was actually on his side until I heard that. Then it all kinda made sense. (I was wanting Taylor to be guilty cos she was obnoxious...)
Yep, I was thinking that the girl stabbed him but that phone call sealed his fate in my eyes.
It's really bizaare, I kind of agree but then when you see the conversation between them in the police station its clear they're both aware of more than they're letting on - he seems to have admitted culpability, but then she's saying she "doesen't remember", gives the strangest 911 call ever and doesen't even slightly implicate Rahul even when she's in danger of being arrested for a crime she supposedly didn't commit.
My guess is that they were both involved to some degree, perhaps she lied about being "come on to", maybe he did the stabbing with her approval or vice versa? Very confusing no doubt, but it seems extremely obvious that there is in fact "Something about Taylor".
Taylor was flirting with his friend, drunk asf, he caught them (mark was innocent asf he was texting his friends that he felt weird while he was there) and did that to mark 😢 I was feeling bad for Rahul too but then it came out that he always got aggressive while drunk, was banned from other friends houses because they were afraid of him, and Taylor....yeah she has a history of purposefully making him jealous, a narcissist..clearly. poor mark this story made me so sad 😢😢😢

No matter how you look at it, had Rahul not said a word and asked for a lawyer to begin with, this trial would've been much different. He more or less handed himself over on a platter.
And that phone call and initial confession. He got lucky his gf was so drunk she blacked out. Could have both gotten off if he remained silent the whole time
No it wouldn't have. DNA and blood spatter tell a story. This isn't all just based on a drunken confession.
@@kandik7641 True. but they didn't need that with his mouth.
@@cybernightzero5891 yes, they did. It was part of the evidence at court. People false confess all the time. They don't take confessions at face value. If Rahul confessed and Taylor's clothes were the ones covered in blood and her skin under his nails and his blood spattered all over her body and her prints on the knife, he wouldn't have been arrested. That's why despite his confession she was also taken into custody. Otherwise they wouldn't have brought her in because he confessed.
@@cybernightzero5891 but you're right, his mouth didn't help him at all.
I cannot stress enough, the effort put into compacting these videos into a palatable, followable length makes this channel an instant click whenever a video is uploaded. this is definitely a dig at low-effort stranger stories. this one was good. that plot twist was super fire NGL.
Despite how convoluted this was, it was easy to crack this one once you understand how motive works.
- A jealous Rahul fighting with Josh earlier in the evening
- Rahul's drunken confession to the murder
- Taylor's story NEVER changing even when she had an incentive to lie in order to easily throw Rahul under the bus
- Rahul's phone call with his dad
The sick part is that the victim could have very well been Josh had he not chosen to go home early.
When she didn’t flip and throw him under the bus after he threw her, I knew something was up w his story. Then came the phone call w his dad where he admitted to what happened in 1 sentence, contrary to his hours of interviews where he talked more ab wanting to shit sleep and eat and throwing his girl under a 🚌.
15:22 is like classic narcissistic abuse. She's politely trying to say she might've implicated Rahul by telling the truth and he interrupts and immediately flips the whole conversation off of him and onto her in a huge blame and shame dump.
lol your insane, asking the person who stabbed your friend in a room with only the 2 of them is narcissistic abuse? jesus christ people are dumb nowadays, he had the most normal reaction by far, your telling me your just going to not ask wtf is going on to the person who just cheated on you and then killed your friend?
So many feelings and possibilities about this one. At the beginning of the 911 call you can hear Rahul saying to Taylor "Get the f**k off of me. Don't touch me." Taylor responds with "I didn't-- I didn't do anything wrong." Rahul can then be heard crying and screaming out "Nooooo" the Taylor again says "I didn't do anything wrong. Ok" which kinda makes her look guilty af. But she can be heard saying "Stop" and the times she says "I didn't do anything wrong " sounds like she's trying to tell Rahul that she wasn't cheating (doing anything wrong) and possibly telling him to stop whatever he was doing to Mark. His statement at the beginning to first responders wasn't a drunken misstatement as he said "I caught my girlfriend cheating on me with Mark so we got into a fight and I must have killed him." I do believe that they got the right person despite the convoluted mess of deciphering a situation involving seriously intoxicated ppl.
Yes!!! I completely agree. Definitely confusing but I do think they apprehended the right person
What makes me so angry, is that Taylor works at the cvs at Dupont Circle in Washington DC. , everyone knows who she is , and what she did !!! She got away with murder, everyone believed she was involved and got away with murder….
Yeah, the in the moment audio I thought was quite damning. Someone in the comments posited a theory that Rahul was in another room, so Taylor came onto Mark, then Rahul came back in and caught them but Taylor told Raul that Mark was raping her. Then they both killed him. I think that's probably how it goes.
And that's so strange she's working so close to where it happened?!!! Wouldn't you want to move away from that area as fast as possible?!?!
She was saying stop like stop being mad at her. I’ve had 3 drunk exes who would stay stop when I confronted them for cheating she 50000% did that. Innocent people get frustrated during interrogations. Guilty people lie and stay calm
She said to 911 “I just…” then changes the subject. Super sus
A good lesson from Josh on: "Listen to your Gut" and don't hesitate to remove yourself from sketchy situations. Don't go along for the ride or go along out of curiosity or whatever other reason you can dream up - just get out and go home.
Yeah I found myself in situations like this back in my partying days in the 70 s always walked away 2 or 3 guys and 1 girl? Hell no
Had he not left, he might have woken up to having blood all over him and a knife planted in HIS hand.
The simplest explanation is usually the best explanation. Raul had the motive and the ability.
No one ever gets away with anything.
Taylor's mind will be affected till she dies. She never gets away from herself.
How casual she’s acting I don’t think she will be bothered.
@lovelynells5148 Yah, she is very cold and selfish.

His memory switches back on perfectly as soon as the crime is over and he's heroically assisting the dying person....but a few seconds earlier, he was blackout drunk and completely unaware of his surroundings. Absolutely absurd.
I do agree it's kinda convenient... but also I can tell you from experience when something bad happens it will sober you up pretty quickly.
Based on her calm refusal to give 911 operators information, her psychopathic tone to calm Rahul, and her feigning shock at being informed Mark is dead. She's absolutely covering it up.
@@HellsFallenAngel1yeah, the psychopath here is Rahul. She is covering up something, but it's her knowledge of him stabbing his friend because he most likely found them sleeping together.

I honestly feel that Mark's final messages are very indicative that he wanted to leave almost as soon as he arrived
For real. So sad and creepy how he said he wanted to eat his hand so he could leave in an ambulance ugh RIP Mark
The jail recorded Rahul's phone call telling his father that he struggled with Mark for the knife. He killed him.
I was undecided up until that moment.
he killed him.
The police didn't record anything. Didn't set up a wire tap. Had nothing to do with the recording from beginning to end.
The Jail records every inmates call and has for a long time. The prosecution (a group of lawyers), asked for all phone calls that the inmate has made, and the jail handed it over. Literally never touched the hands of a police officer. But ya, it blows my mind that people make these phone calls where it tells you you're being recorded (unfortunately I've made hundreds of these calls), and then admit to this kind of stuff.
Taylor seemed too scared of him to say what she actually knew.
@@josephgood2704 one reason all jail calls are recorded is because everyone in jail has given up their right to privacy while they’re accused of a crime. The police and the prosecutor SHOULD have requested that jail call and used it against him.
@IrisTinsley thanks? Ya all of what you said is obvious. But it's the prosicutors, not police, that requested that call. That's all I was saying
StayAwake, you can tell a story! Thanks for the upload. RIP Mark.
Yet again in crime women have privileges men do not. Equal justice is nonexistent.
This is why Taylor had on three different outfits: She changed out of outfit #1 (a nice dress) into outfit #2, her pajamas and then into outfit #3 because her pajamas included short shorts which she wouldn’t want to wear anywhere outside of her apartment, especially in a police station. Any female would understand this! Also, I believe Taylor was extremely intoxicated and had passed out (into a deep sleep) when Rahul and Mark got into a fight. Rahul had stabbed Mark to death then woke Taylor up and yelled at her to call 911. I understand why she would be so confused! She truly did not know what was going on and was honest to 911 and to the police about her confusion. The confession Rahul made to the police when he was being taken to the police station along with what he told his father on the phone about fighting with Mark and taking the knife from him, speaks volumes! He also seems like he was a very jealous and controlling boyfriend. Rahul first got into it with Josh at the bar accusing him of cheating with Taylor then just a few hours later he got into a fight with Mark because he thought he was cheating with Taylor… The way Rahul talked to Taylor when they were alone in the interrogation room showed just how narcissistic and controlling he was. He then gaslit Taylor and tried to make her believe SHE stabbed Mark! 🙄 Rahul knew EXACTLY what happened. I think he would have hurt or killed a girlfriend/ wife or even a friend at some point in the future due to his narcissistic personality, jealousy and anger issues. He is definitely where he belongs!!!

This case is very distressing. It's clear that Taylor was involved in some way. I couldn't believe it when I heard the prosecution's excuse for the hair. "All over the house", sure, but on the knife Mark was stabbed to death with? And most damning of all, clenched in his hand???

I was so convinced she did it until the trial started and they started just focusing on the facts. But then,… the phone call to the father! He REMEMBERED Mark “getting a knife”, and that THEY (Mark and Rahul) were in FACT fighting. So that right there, he was straight up throwing his girl under the bus! This was a twist for me, idk if anyone else was fooled, or if it was just me 🤷🏻♀️
Imo he straight up lied to his dad. Indians/Asians would tend to do that with their parents
If you don't think Taylor was involved you must be forgetting the hair in Mark's hand and on the knife, etc. She played everyone for fools. They wouldn't have even called for 911 if it wasn't for Rahul yelling at her, and then she just covered it all up, somehow, by just saying "I don't know" until everyone believed it. Poor little girl, couldn't have possibly be cheating on her bf, even though everyone else knew or said so. They both did it, she just got away with it because they could blame a brown male. There is simply zero way someone dies, in your apt, with your hair all over their dead body and the weapon, and you just "don't know." What a crock.
@@andrewstadterman329yeah it’s hard to say which one actually did the stabbing itself but i don’t believe either one is completely innocent or not at the least hiding information

I'm 50. Drank many times but when I was 17 I got blind drunk on whiskey. Only time that I drank and didn't understand what was going on. It was Memorial weekend for my whole close staying in hotels at the beach. I got in between two classmates who were fighting and they were blind drunk and the two of them didn't realize they were fighting with each other. They had to be blind drunk too. Crazy situation and never experienced it happening again. You are right. When you are young and not much experience drinking you don't know what could happen.
@@ilikemitchhedberg Yes, I can so testify. But to witness a murder- that would be a very sobering moment, right?

This is crazy. I can't get over the fact Taylor's hair is all over the evidence, in the blood on the knife and in the victim's hand & Rahul's hair isn't. The way the DA explained it everyone's hair should be in the evidence than.
Mark and Taylor may have been in an embrace when Rahul stabbed him.
Have a look at the elevator scene at 0:29. Rahul looks angry or annoyed the whole time while the 2 others are having a good time. And Mark squeezing Rahul's arm as he walks out of the elevator: some tension there.
She was an attractive girl wearing a short dress. Mark was drunk and obviously into her otherwise he wouldn’t have went to their apartment. Rahul must’ve been picking up that seems like a smart dude. She was probably a flirt.
And there's no way Rahul just "did his own thing" in his apartment, that he shared with his girlfriend, after thinking her and Mark were up to something. With the way he acts toward Taylor when they're together tells me he gets irritated easily and makes her nervous.
Totally agree and the way he spoke to her gave me the icks. It was almost like he knew they were being recorded and he was trying to gaslight her into confessing.
OK but what I don't understand is why is Mark there in the first place if there is cheating rumors going on between them 🤔
It must be a man's fault. Must be........
@@GenX1969 “gave me the icks” it’s “ick” first off and second off the evidence stands stronger against her it was just the fact he blindly admitted to it cause he was most likely not innocent doesn’t mean she wasn’t guilty aswell. Why would she change clothes twice?, why was her hand injured correlating to holding the knife?, why was her hair wrapped around the knife?, and why tf would she hesitate and be so unresponsive to the police? My guess is that you’re going to defend her sayin oh she was in shock that’s why she hesitated bla bla bla, they’re both guilty.
I agree. They are talking about how she had three wardrobe changes. I've seen girls do it when they're drunk and trying to be cute with guys.
Also from marks text, historically awkward, ready to NAS own hand off so he can leave in an ambulance. Things that make me 👀
And if Raul is concerned about her cheating then seems to me that she might have been throwing herself at him or the two of them might have been arguing about her having cheated before and nobody likes to be around a couple when they're arguing.
Feels like the girl was absolutely fucking hammered, slipped up and accidentally got too friendly with Mark, Rahul also in an altered state of mind got pissed and killed him.
During that call, she was clearly dazed and woozy as hell. She couldn't focus on what happened and what was in front of her, and probably could barely keep her eyes open. Been there with sleep deprivation-I was so fucked up that I started handwriting absolutely ludicrous, nonsensical shit on official papers. Couldn't formulate a single spoken sentence, and didn't remember any of it later.
The dude was clearly trying so hard to pin this on her cause he knew even she wouldn't be too sure she hadn't done it. Basically trying to gaslight her into thinking she'd murdered someone.
Yep, over 50% of all murderers are intoxicated with alcohol. It is also true that 50% of all murder victims are also intoxicated with alcohol. The consumption of alcohol is the single largest contributing factor of murders. Yet we simply ignore all this and promote alcohol consumption every way possible in the media and everywhere else.
as a messy girl with long hair, I will say that if a bloody guy was rolling around on the floor of my bedroom, they would undoubtably have my hair all over them, and potentially my old contacts. also if the knife was on the ground after it was used, it makes more sense as to how taylor’s hair got there vs her hair being there during the struggle and remaining there during and after the stabbing. Not saying she didn’t do it, just that the presence of hair on anything that has spent time in a girls room means basically nothing.
Same here, messy and I'm sure hair would be all over someone!
Maybe she was the one who tried to help him / stop the bleeding.
As a guy with long hair I'm surprised my hair didn't end up involved in this actual case. Gets everywhere else.
I agree 100%. Also, blood is incredibly sticky from the fibrin as it begins to activate, so anything will stick quickly to anything bloody. It's tacky like glue. Even easily explains the hair on the wall, which the hair could have been there already, or whipped up into the air from all of the thrashing and then stuck to the blood very easily. I said elsewhere, my wife's hair is all over the place and I find it even in my clean clothes, and I don't wash mine with hers and I still get her hair in my clothing.
Ok Kyley, you're Taylor, answer this question for me. Are you wearing both contacts now or are you missing one as we speak?
that call to his father sealed it.And the way he talked to Taylor in the station was truly sick. It told a story of sociopathic insanity. Justice was done.
No it wasn’t. She got away with it .
@@Nytephyrethe thing with these short recaps of the crime is that we really don't have all the facts. I agree that it's weird that her contact was on his jeans and her hair in his hand.
But the stab wound being so deep and chipping his bone...that definitely points to Rahul. His conversation with his dad was pretty damning not to mention his confessions originally. I think it's highly unlikely they both in the moment decided to kill Mark. I think she may actually be innocent.
Yet exposed her as being a manipulative sociopath who will play the role of a passive little girl, AKA being the vulnerable narcissist that she is, and then letting the guy that she was supposed to be in love with go to prison because she wanted to get off on passion then murder
Was interesting to see the dynamic between them when they were in the same room, how quickly she tried to appease and accommodate him after each of his angry demands "Where is my lawyer' and 'I need to get out of her! I'm hungry' etc etc. she very quickly tried to deescalate things. Seemed obvious she was used to being that position with him..
Covering up her fresh murder? Interesting 🤔
Don’t forget the most damming evidence…. Rahul really needed to poop. Being denied a good poop for over a year, can drive anyone to insanity. It’s the toxins in the poop.
i pity the bubble you grew up in if you think that was anger. Soft little child.
That's a very common male/female dynamic. It doesn't mean much. You see the same dynamic played out with 8yr olds on the porch playing Pokémon. The male is assertive, the female is very accommodating and tries to soothe.
Even killers will still likely follow that typical pattern.
@@TheChristianNomad I don't agree. He is very dominant in this situation and even tells her to ask for a lawyer to the police outside while there in the exact same situation and location. That wouldnt be normal behaviour in a equal relationship...
This reminds me so much of trying to talk to my State Farm claims agent..asking questions, getting NOWHERE. They seem to be specially trained in blowing smoke so you never understand whats going on.
The Phone call did him in. Basically he admitted he was in a fight with Mark and had possession of a knife. Gupta admitted that " He (Mark) TRIED to get a knife".... and then Gupta admitted that, " I GOT the knife". Any Jury hearing that and in combination with the other evidence, would find him Guilty. It takes the benefit of the doubt away.
The whole thing about her clothing is killing me. Clearly the police were there when she was sitting against the wall in her underwear, which means that they know how and when she changed her clothing. They probably asked her to change to take her clothing as evidence since they were in her apartment.
And 3 changes is nothing. 1- first outfit for going out, 2- changed after getting home into comfortable clothing, 3- put on more clothing so she didn't go to the police in her panties. It's not rocket surgery.
Sounds like bunyon surgery to me.

She's completely innocent.
THIS
if only we used evidence in court and not feelings. you know the evidence on the murder weapon being hers? How does he murder a dude and leave nothing on the weapon? Hes a simp who took a life sentence for a ho.
The interactions they had together tell me he's the whiny one on the relationship. She basically has to cater to his needs and wants and deny her own. He doesn't ask how she is. He doesn't care what she needs or wants. All he talks and thinks about is himself. He seems narcassistic and self involved. He wants HIS lawyer. He recants his statement. He's sobered up enough to know they'll be lenient if he claims he tried to help Mark. No self-respecting and selfish man just does his own thing when he thinks his girl is screwing around with ANYONE, let alone his friend right in front of him. He may very well have tried to help Mark, but he also wounded Mark in the first place. She asks if he is okay... he gets annoyed at her for even being there.
I can't watch this. The call alone is irking tf out of me
If the state says that both Rahul and Taylors DNA and fingerprints and hair would be everywhere in the apartment, and we know Taylors DNA and fingerprints and hair and contacts and everything are all over the knife, the blood, Marks clothes, etc... the obvious question is 'Is Rahuls DNA and fingerprints and hair all over the knife, in the blood, and on Marks clothes?' That's what I would want answered.
Frrr
Who's fingerprints are on the knife
I believe Taylor did it and Rahul watched and didn't do anything to stop it.
Rahul was hugging Mark as he lay there bleeding out. Did you even watch the video?

Was just wondering when I would see a upload from this channel. It's one of my absolute favorite one.
Seeing how he acted towards taylor when they were put in the rm together definitely swayed me towards Rahul being the aggressor, watching her trying to placate him was telling.
Agreed. What makes me still think she also played a role is all the physical evidence pointing to her.
The contact lens, and the injury on her hand being the two most damning.
I wholeheartedly believe Rahul was also involved in the crime. I just have trouble ignoring physical evidence, as it never lies.
well your clearly a fucking expert on a the pseudo science of body language. That's almost a s good as being a polished turd.
yes exactly what I thought!! at first I was on the fence then when I saw that I just knew. imagine that personality drunk. I know because my ex was the same way and everything she said to ease him were things I said too. that right there was so incredibly telling to me.
She had to always keep placating him in the relationship and yet she could also have the guts to flirt with his friends?
no no she was being massively manipulative
Well, you’re drunk that’s one of the most vulnerable emotional and physical states you can be in. When you feel something is off or weird vibe and you’re drunk, the situation is not going to improve just because you’re tipsy. Things could get so much worse when you’re dealing with other people who you don’t know react under the influence
Had Josh stayed with the party Mark may have lived... he sounded the most grounded of all the survivors. I wonder how Rahul is enjoying his stainless steel sink/toilet (throne) combo?

JCS is the GOAT but this is one of the channels that's a close second!
I don’t think this channel is very JCS. And that’s ok. This is more of just a crime channel instead of the psychology behind the crime channel. Like That Chapter minus the sass. Good stuff; I enjoy this channel.
My condolences to Mark's family. Rahul hung himself with that phone call he made to his dad. That was the unforced truth that slammed the jail cell door for life!
There is a famous movie called Dark Mirror starring Olivia de Havilland where identical twin sisters are both suspected of committing the same murder but none of the witnesses could say which sister committed the crime and the prosecution had to be dropped because you can’t convict 2 people for the same crime.. similar to this story.
I think he did it! He knew the conversation that took place between him and Taylor alone at the police station was recorded. So he played the what happened game. His first statement that he stabbed Mark was from the heart but his phone conversation with his father was even more truthful.
I appreciate the subtitles of the interviews, thank you.
I like your format and work on these videos. The interview clips aren't too long, your story-telling carries most of the weight of the video instead of grainy interview room clips, you provide manually made subtitles for that awful interview quality, and most of all, you don't use text to speech. It's nice to hear what is definitely a human behind these videos. (also you aren't EWU, those people are repetitive and lazy)
This case is not one that leaves you feeling justice has been made.
Yeah it feels like something is missing and we'll likely nevwr know what exactly happened. Taylor definitely had something to do with the murder, but there was just too much doubt.
Thank you for such an informative and interesting video of this case.
Hello, and Thank You for the video! Excellent, as always!
For everyone who says “if I were her” in some way or another, “I would or would not have don this that or the other.” , you don’t know Jack. Four people in a small box shaped room, three dudes and one girl, a knife. There is no word for how you feel in those situations, and no way of knowing what you would do.
To me this is a tragedy soaked in booze. Without alcohol, I’m guessing this would not have happened.
Unrelated to the murder, DuPont Circle is indeed lit AF. If you happen to be in DC on a night on the town, 10/10 would recommend.
Another one that Ive not seen recycled all over youtube. Great job SA!
Raul did it..then tried to frame his girlfriend in a very sloppy way. Rauls treatment of Taylor when they were together spoke volumes. I need this and that go tell them..very controlling.
100%
Yep.
I thought she was guilty until that part.
he was acting ditressed imo. she is very manipulative and her acting is horrible. She calls her friend a BODY. She must have touched the body. she knows nothing but enough. So sus. They most likely both did it in the middle of an argument.

Her 911 call was so infuriating. Why call if you're not gonna help. "What happened?" "I don't know." Is it a wreck?, a building fire?, A murder? So many things can be wrong and she's saying nothing. I would have lost my patience with her.
Cuz she was told to call ...but dude probably was telling her don't say it was ME
I’ve answered tens of thousands of 911 calls. Her call and behavior were extremely suspicious to me
I’m pretty sure she stabbed him as well. She hesitated because she may have assumed they’d try to cover it up and didn’t want to call the police.
She was hammered
I do find it curious how when Rahaul was saying about Marks injuries and where the injuries were he actually made actions/motions of stabbing which was unnecessary - He was saying where the injuries were on Mark - there was no reason to mime stabbing - It was almost like he was doing the motion from memory in my opinion. Like as he was thinking he was subconsciously doing the actions he had done at the time.... Because, if some one was stabbed and I tried to stop them bleeding and later the police asked me where the person had been injured I would just say or possibly point on myself to the location of the wounds.... I wouldn't make a stabbing motion on the area to show where they had been stabbed. That's not normal.
I think he caught her in the middle of making a move on mark. He got angry got a knife, stabbed him, she was right next to it and saw it happened and possibly even tried to stop it which would explain the red mark on her hand. And she played dumb out of fear of being blamed for him being murdered.
I think the call with his dad pretty much sealed the deal for me thinking it waa Rahul.
Same here. I just don't see any other explanation for what he said in that call.

To be honest, I can't see why either of them should end up in prison for something that can't be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Especially not for the rest of his or her life. A sentence that is barbaric anyway.
