It's really bizaare, I kind of agree but then when you see the conversation between them in the police station its clear they're both aware of more than they're letting on - he seems to have admitted culpability, but then she's saying she "doesen't remember", gives the strangest 911 call ever and doesen't even slightly implicate Rahul even when she's in danger of being arrested for a crime she supposedly didn't commit.
My guess is that they were both involved to some degree, perhaps she lied about being "come on to", maybe he did the stabbing with her approval or vice versa? Very confusing no doubt, but it seems extremely obvious that there is in fact "Something about Taylor".

Despite how convoluted this was, it was easy to crack this one once you understand how motive works.
    - A jealous Rahul fighting with Josh earlier in the evening
    - Rahul's drunken confession to the murder
    - Taylor's story NEVER changing even when she had an incentive to lie in order to easily throw Rahul under the bus
    - Rahul's phone call with his dad
The sick part is that the victim could have very well been Josh had he not chosen to go home early.

So many feelings and possibilities about this one. At the beginning of the 911 call you can hear Rahul saying to Taylor "Get the f**k off of me. Don't touch me." Taylor responds with "I didn't-- I didn't do anything wrong." Rahul can then be heard crying and screaming out "Nooooo" the Taylor again says "I didn't do anything wrong. Ok" which kinda makes her look guilty af. But she can be heard saying "Stop" and the times she says "I didn't do anything wrong " sounds like she's trying to tell Rahul that she wasn't cheating (doing anything wrong) and possibly telling him to stop whatever he was doing to Mark. His statement at the beginning to first responders wasn't a drunken misstatement as he said "I caught my girlfriend cheating on me with Mark so we got into a fight and I must have killed him." I do believe that they got the right person despite the convoluted mess of deciphering a situation involving seriously intoxicated ppl.

This is why Taylor had on three different outfits: She changed out of outfit #1 (a nice dress) into outfit #2, her pajamas and then into outfit #3 because her pajamas included short shorts which she wouldn’t want to wear anywhere outside of her apartment, especially in a police station. Any female would understand this! Also, I believe Taylor was extremely intoxicated and had passed out (into a deep sleep) when Rahul and Mark got into a fight. Rahul had stabbed Mark to death then woke Taylor up and yelled at her to call 911. I understand why she would be so confused! She truly did not know what was going on and was honest to 911 and to the police about her confusion. The confession Rahul made to the police when he was being taken to the police station along with what he told his father on the phone about fighting with Mark and taking the knife from him, speaks volumes! He also seems like he was a very jealous and controlling boyfriend. Rahul first got into it with Josh at the bar accusing him of cheating with Taylor then just a few hours later he got into a fight with Mark because he thought he was cheating with Taylor… The way Rahul talked to Taylor when they were alone in the interrogation room showed just how narcissistic and controlling he was. He then gaslit Taylor and tried to make her believe SHE stabbed Mark! 🙄 Rahul knew EXACTLY what happened. I think he would have hurt or killed a girlfriend/ wife or even a friend at some point in the future due to his narcissistic personality, jealousy and anger issues. He is definitely where he belongs!!!

It was Memorial weekend for my whole close staying in hotels at the beach. I got in between two classmates who were fighting and they were blind drunk and the two of them didn't realize they were fighting with each other. They had to be blind drunk too. Crazy situation and never experienced it happening again. You are right. When you are young and not much experience drinking you don't know what could happen.

Not saying she didn’t do it, just that the presence of hair on anything that has spent time in a girls room means basically nothing.

Even easily explains the hair on the wall, which the hair could have been there already, or whipped up into the air from all of the thrashing and then stuck to the blood very easily. Her 911 call was so infuriating. Why call if you're not gonna help. "What happened?" "I don't know." Is it a wreck?, a building fire?, A murder? So many things can be wrong and she's saying nothing. I would have lost my patience with her.

I’ve answered tens of thousands of 911 calls. Her call and behavior were extremely suspicious to me

I’m pretty sure she stabbed him as well. She hesitated because she may have assumed they’d try to cover it up and didn’t want to call the police.

I do find it curious how when Rahaul was saying about Marks injuries and where the injuries were he actually made actions/motions of stabbing which was unnecessary - He was saying where the injuries were on Mark - there was no reason to mime stabbing - It was almost like he was doing the motion from memory in my opinion. Like as he was thinking he was subconsciously doing the actions he had done at the time.... Because, if some one was stabbed and I tried to stop them bleeding and later the police asked me where the person had been injured I would just say or possibly point on myself to the location of the wounds.... I wouldn't make a stabbing motion on the area to show where they had been stabbed. That's not normal.

I think he caught her in the middle of making a move on mark. He got angry got a knife, stabbed him, she was right next to it and saw it happened and possibly even tried to stop it which would explain the red mark on her hand. And she played dumb out of fear of being blamed for him being murdered.

      Toast, after that call.
He doesn't say ANY of that, to the investigators.
But why would speak so freely over an obviously monitored phone line?
Surely, he know he was being observed.

Good video. Interviews get long winded on some channels. Love the crime scene photos, and subs.

To be honest, I can't see why either of them should end up in prison for something that can't be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Especially not for the rest of his or her life. A sentence that is barbaric anyway.
Apart from that, they were already of diminished capacity due to their level of alcoholization.
