P.S. Thank you for tastefully explaining that one should demand deeper shades from a market they can and will actively purchase from. In fairness to business, they can't provide them and then they collect dust on the shelves (of course this statement in no way includes Tarte who is a different story I'm weary of reading LOL).
La Mer now has two deeper shades, and it doesn't stop with Sienna..now everyone will have a chance to buy the foundation and see for themselves and not stop with your tone, and that's it!
I’m happy you’ve returned. Your videos are so informative.
This product looks so lovely... I'd be so excited to give it a try, too, and I was just about ready when you said that they added shades deeper than eggshell... yeah, it's rather underwhelming, but it's all good. I do love how in depth you go with your reviews, though, and seeing your return and falling into a rhythm of posting that suits you best makes us so happy. long term fan here, and i'm so glad i have my fix of you on the regular!
I have been using this foundation for 1 week now and it’s love at first sight lol I love this I feel so amazing when I wear it and I was not sure how the powder would like because I have a tan complexion but after watching your review I am definitely making the purchase! So happy to have found your channel 💕💕
LaMer sells deeper shades in Africa.
Chic Noir29 wow I had no idea that's good to know!
Did he just say this is some Acceptance-Speech, Thank-the-Academy level foundation & powder?! See, this is why my "no-buy" can never prosper.
So glad that I found your channel! It’s hard finding reviews on luxury brands by POC!! Great review! New subscriber!
thank you for your review! I was on the fence about the foundation, considering I hardly wear any, but when I do I want my skin to benefit from the miracle broth. great work. just purchased :)
B, you have never steered me wrong. Definitely going to purchase both foundation and powder, I just hope La Mer has my shade. Finding the right shade that doesn't oxidize or look too pink/red has always been my struggle.
Yes! love the new name! im excited about mote higher ends coming out with deeper shades. Could go deeper but its a start
Just found your channel. Seriously the best I have seen. Immediately subscribed AND brought the foundation!
Liz Graham thank you and I hope you love it as much as I do!
Thank you for covering this product and bringing this information to the forefront.
Thank you for sharing, I am glad they are trying indeed as far as color. It’s a beautiful brand. I truly love your page 💕 and yes I agree with you on that publicity stunt to see if we will buy. I love how professional you are
I subscribed because I love your knowledge and you kept me engaged 👌🏾
shanahrah kirnon thank you!
I hope CPB comes out with more shades, The Foundation is phenomenal!
I love your reviews and I trusted your judgment fully 😘
Thanks for doing this video. It would be great to see you demo products as you teach.
We always wear the same foundation shades. I am going to order this now. Lol. Looks incredible.
Just subscribed to your channel! I love buying luxury makeup and it's great when I find a influencer of color with the same love of luxury makeup as I that I can get reviews from before purchase.
constantina jennings thanks for the support!
Do you have a video review on the lamer. At 38 I feel like I’m aging finally and have been interested in LaMer because I know a lot of ageless stars swear by it.
I'm in the shade honey and have their other products as well. Love the honey shade - I do wish they had something with a yellow undertone though. This foundation has actually improved my skin texture - I hope La mer is listening to you - if they send you the products you can do swatches for us all
Lorraine Campbell I wish lol. Soon ..:)
I've been waiting for La Mer to extend their shade range. Not sure if I can wear the deepest shade. I'm going to check it out.
I’m glad the shade range extended. I want to buy one, but I’m afraid I’ll have another Tom Ford incident where the shade is photoshopped MUCH darker online. It was the Waterproof graceless foundation/concealer (Caramel). Which is now... just concealer. I did go get the Traceless with the pump. Looove it.
Still gonna try this La Met because the med/deep shades aren’t all too warm. I’m neutral, but the neutral shades are typically made for light/medium
I subscribed! I enjoy watching and getting recommendations from POC who love high end and luxury makeup. I certainly do.
Thanks for reviewing this even if i am a year too late. I was thinking about looking into La Mer.
Lol totally agree with you. And your skin looks good.
I think you're fantastic...Best Wishes from London. When the c-virus nightmare is over...I'm going to test this and buy it (since you've mentioned it's the best foundation you've used and it looks so goid on you. I'll probably buy and use the pressed powder. I have the old version 'The Powder' but I didn't like it...perhaps I'll have test the new one after listening to the end of your review)☺ Your 'Best Foundation' quote got me😂 Keep well...just subscribed xx
Great review!
Thanks for sharing. Very detailed review
I bought the la mer loose setting powder and foundation separately and I love it colour is perfect on the foundation but any la mer products I use i get these little bumps under the skin so I think am allergic to the seaweed :((
Can you recommend a setting powder other than the la mer that I may like??
I would really appreciate your advice :)
I wanna try it
Stunning review.
Omg ty for reviewing lamer. No one does
Great review. I’ll be visiting their counter.
I just recently ordered the foundation. The color didn't work. While I was in the process of doing a return the skin consultant told me that this year they will be coming out with several more dark tones in the foundation. Since you're in the know you probably know this but just in case.... This is a great thing I like the feel of the foundation just need the right color
Woah missed you. And I miss those Facebook roasting days. You have great skin so I know you spend good.
Thank you for the review. I am definitely going to purchase the foundation because of you. How do you feel about the powder compact? Also is there a difference in the new loose powder versus the original? I have backup of the original loose powder.
S Derrick the compact really is more about convenience and there are some shade options if needed. I prefer loose powder
Oh wow, you changed your name! Great review. I’m they expanded the shade range.
I love this foundation, it’s definitely my number one. It doesn’t cause breakouts and it looks amazing all day. You use less of it too so that’s how I justify the price to myself 🤣
So pleased they do not have my colour (I would be a shade or two after sienna) because I would be dropping money I do not have on this without a shadow of doubt. Your reviews are always comprehensive and as you say worth paying that little bit more for all the additional skin loving / fixing properties.
I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you for all the reviews. :-)
The only bad thing about the powder is there charging more now and give you less product then before the original the powder was by far better.
I remember you from back in the day when you would purchase every MAC Cosmetics collection. This was pre PR. Your channel should be bigger
True lol and thank you
I have a sample to of the cream and did not like it, makes me very oily. I been using the foundation and my skin looks great with it, I'm mexican and use the shade tan 😍 it is my favorite foundation followed by Dior.
Because of you, I'm about to spend a C-Note on foundation. 😒😒😒🤑🤑🤑
What is your shade in MAC?
Anonymous65 I haven't worn Mac in about 10 years but I'd guess nc50
❤️ 💕 💜 💝
Tfs!💖❣💖
Thanks for the review, unfortunately, I'm deeper than you therefore I won't be buying. I am very interested in more luxury brands and get so frustrated that I can't even find swatches on darker complexions, much less full reviews. For example, I'm interested in some of the classic quads/pallets from Tom Ford, Burberry, Chanel, etc....and can't find any reviews from POC. I will just have to visit the stores and take a look/swatch for myself. I'm in a small town, so TF and Burberry counters aren't everywhere! Now about that Tarte mess, I agree with you they knew what they were doing, a PR stunt. Any news is news for them. I understand Ulta has said they won't carry it in store or online until the full range is ready....Ulta don't even want to get caught up in Tarte's nasty mess. Thanks for the review again...
I love my Tom Ford foundation. I have a blog/channel where I kinda review and demo luxury brands. It’s fairly new, but you can check it out. Maybe find something useful- more to come.

Thanks I will definitely check it out what you and Brian are doing, is really a great service and desperately needed it in the community of Beauty for people with skin tones deeper than deep Taupe. All tones love luxury
Oh my... now I want to buy the powder. I love my Givenchy Prism powder, but this powder may be going in my want list. Until deeper foundation tones are presented by LaMer I’m going to pass.
