Brianna--OMG thank you for doing this review on these reformulated products from La Mer! I had a couple of questions: I have the old La Mer foundation and wanted to know if this new one was as dewy as that one was. I have oily skin and can't do the old foundation bc it was WAY too dewy! Also, how does this compare to the By Terry Terrybly Densiliss foundation in terms of performance and how it feels and looks on the skin. The By Terry is one of my holy grails thanks to a video you did on it forever ago! Also, which one do you like more-new La Mer or new Sisley foundation? Thanks!!!!

I have the foundation and i LOVE IT .. I never tried the old poweder and I really want to purchase the new one but there are mixed reviews, some poeple love it and others HATE IT, but not sure if the hate is coming from the price/amount change or the powder itself. SO thank you for your honest review. I love luxury makeup and i can always count on you to give a good review!!

I love the foundation! it's amazing and I work really long 12 hour shifts at the hospital. On the side, I do bridal makeup and this is one of my favorites to use, it photographs so well and is not irritating to (most) skin. Couldn't agree with you more.

On the video I prefer the other foundation on you the bio fond I don't no if it has to do with your not self tanned.But you got me addicted to the bio fond. And I've been struggling to find a very moi.sure rich under eye concealer so I used the Bio Fond under eyes .Love it.I orded it in lightest color for under eyes. Love love the Bip Fond foundation.

I love you with a slightly darker lip shade as it makes your face come alive! When you wear a nude lip your face is all one color, beautiful, but not as pretty as today! I really enjoy your videos!
So Brianna - I would be so interested to know which you LOVE the most - the Gerda Spillmann, the La Mer or the new Sisley Fond de Teint? I have the Gerda Spillmann and want to splurge on one of the other two. I'm pretty much your colouring, but can't stand an even slight hint of orange! Great review as always!

I have two of the pre-reformulated La Mer powders (one I'm using now, and one for backup) and I can't believe (or can I?) that La Mer would come back out with the powder in such a small package, less product, and a way higher price! I am so glad I got a backup of the older one because I am going to pass on this.

Bravo to our special guest Ryan for his valuable input from a guy's perspective!! :) As per usual, your review is fabulous! Your skin looks amazing -- that's for sure. I love the Fall look with the darker lipstick. As for the products, I'm disappointed with the markup on the powder and unfortunately based on that La Mer has lost me as a customer. If the powder had been drastically different from the original I'd consider it -- but even so, the "miracle broth" can't justify selling such a smaller amount of powder for such a ridiculous price. La Prairie has a lovely powder AND it comes with a refillable travel size. ~Susanne xoxo

Love the guest star!! Foundation looks like it is worth the splurge but is the concealer? I read all of the comments below and I think that's the pressing question. Also I looked at the powder yesterday and it has sparkles in it. I hate sparkles and am wondering if they are noticeable when on the face.
Darn it,Bri, I now want this foundation. Just what I need another ridiculously expensive foundation lol. I struggle with stick concealers. Will try your tips. I'm bummed about the amount and cost of The Powder. In fact I wrote LaMer. Lol. I am willing to pay for a fabulous product, but seriously bummed. This was the review I had been waiting for. Hey Karen! I am loving the Nia24 eye cream still! Its perfect under makeup! I do that too, I usually use a different eye cream for the day and night and yes that skinceuticals age eye complex is such a good one too! I wishI could use them all at once hahaha! ;))

AMAZING PRODUCT. Dior air flash & Mer mixed together is HEAVEN SENT! Invest in your skin this is not only a "foundation" but it's the foundation of youth with miricale broth amongst other things when your wearing it. It hugs ur skin and even if ur a shade off the foundation somehow gets your true color to come out. Also The Powder there baking powder is like butter! Blows everything out the water. My 2nd favorite is Giorgio Armani if your looking for half the price but having similarities. This foundation is GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN INVEST IN YOUR SKIN SO IT STAYS NICE FOR THE LONG HAUL!

Great review! Of course I want everything....except the powder. I am having a hard time with how blatantly they are gouging the price. It's a little extreme.
I would LOVE a comparison of the La Mer, Gerda Spillman, and Sisely foundations. Like, what you like best about each, when you would choose one over the other and/or if any have lost their spot in your rotation :)

I will be trying that foundation and probably the concealer. I am not one to mess around with less expensive foundation or concealer, they just don't look good on me and so, imo, a waste of money. Plus who doesn't want their skin to look like a snapchat filter?!

Brianna, I want to thank you. I finally bit the dust and bought La mer foundation. Oh my gosh!!!! It is my holy grail foundation. I have dry skin and this foundation is beautiful. Does not fall into fine lines, does not cling to dry patches, looks just like skin! My second choice is Georgio Armani luminous silk. I love the finish of the Georgio Armani power fabric foundation but it clings to dry patches. The La Mer is PERFECTION on my skin. Thank you!
