When I first saw this music video, I couldn't believe it was Garbage. I even called my sister over, and neither of us could believe our eyes. Never imagined Shirley could sound like this. Instant love. Went out and got their album immediately. I was a high school boy at the time and didn't care for the world that I was buying a bright pink CD with a rose on the cover. Played it in my car right away in the parking lot before I left. Just awesome.
This song came out in 2001 and no one gave a crap. I love this album. This band was and is so far ahead of their time. It's now gaining steam from Microsoft ads.

Ah, this takes me back. 12 or so years ago, on russian tv channel CTC there was an hour-two long section of cartoons for kids that just returned from school. They showed cartoons the likes of Scooby Doo, Batman Beyond and Gargoyles. And in-between these cartoons they would play various musical clips, this particular one being quite frequent. This clip was quite something for my 12 year old mind and I remember it fondly.

I love this song, it's one of my all time faves. When i was learning to walk as a baby, my mum would sing it too me. It was the first pop song i sang and it influences the style of music i play today. I used to listen to this on repeat on long car journeys and it just means alot to me especially because i have alot of trans friends and this song has supported them too!!! So it feels really good to listen to it again as i havnt in ages. Listening to an old song that you havnt heard for a while and love is one of the best feelings ever!!! :D

I saw a garbage music video on TV some time ago and I really liked it, it had a Marilyn Manson feel to it and I promised myself I would check them out sooner or later. I'm obviously doing it right now and I understand they variate a lot, but I still like them as of now. And as soon as I got to this video I was like "I know this song", I heard it quite a bit when I was a child lol. Never thought I'd find my way back to it, as it wasn't that famous and played of a song, but I'm glad I am here 😀

@@marcelaipa no, I didn't realize it was meant to have a "transgender spirit" as shirley manson later describes -- at the time I could relate as a naïve 21 year old pulled into different directions by older men, having sung the song many years earlier not understanding what it meant.
