I grew up listening to the Sugababes as a kid, they were a great Girl Band for their time with 6 UK No. 1 singles on their belt including ‘Round Round’ which has always been my favourite. Even though they had a number of lineup changes.
Sugababes, you really are very remarkable despite the flops you experience at some point in time. Your catchy songs and upbeat tunes truly make the day awesome. Thanks and more power to you.
this song just radiates so much of the early 2000s feeling. the had 90ies just ended. and we plunged into the 2000s with this awesome song. it was so well timed, it will never age.
Amazing! Brought back so many memories. These were the days when people put effort into making music videos. The Sugababes were just the right mix of pop and substance. 👏👏👏
Underrated?? 😂 It was a number 1 single all over the world and certified as a Gold record. It was their biggest selling record until Push the Button. Absolutely NOT underrated by anyone.
I love that Indie pop style!!! Ohh good days back in 2002 I was all obsessed with Xtina's Stripped but this group was very catchy!! The music is still quite current and fun to hear.
Back when nobody wanted to change, nobody wanted to leave the little bits of 80s left and the 90s were still in full swing. Then kids and technology took over.
I just watched their concert and these girls are still fire. Was a shame not to see Heidi but siobhan certainly slotted back in well. So pleased for them to have won the rights to the Sugababes name. Go and get the Lost tapes so these girls keep making music 🔥
Whaaaaat?!?!? 😲 This whole time I thought it was “Spend the night on me” as well!!!!! It was only until I saw your comment that I realise that they were actually saying a clever spin on “Round Round” with that lyric! 😭

This song is still amazing and for some reason all the UK radio stations are playing Sugababes. Thank you Keisha, Heidi and Mutya (and to a lesser extent Amelle) to your contribution to British pop music. 2002 - 2009 were great years. its funny cos Girls Aloud were also big around this time too.
I love Keisha. She's my favourite member of the sugababes, she's so beautiful, such a good singer, talented, brilliant, amazing and I'm a massive fan of her.
Absolutely agreed. Her voice is so stunning and soulful and beautiful. I honestly thought when I was growing up, she was the best part of the sugababes and made the sugababes wonderful and magnificent.
@@iamskybound Yea but I think it could have cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 easily if it had proper distribution in the mainstream. Anyway, maybe better most Americans don't know it. Makes it more unique.
This is just a proof that the chemistry between the bandmates is very important. Keisha, Heidi and Mutya indeed had the great chemistry together. When Amelle replaced Mutya, chemistry was still there although not as great as this one. But when Keisha got sacked, this is where the things went downhill...

God I remember being 12 and hearing this song. now at almost 25 years old it is a classic to me still!
Mutya's beauty is the kind you won't forget.. very unique
Кейша дико красива! А песня - шедевр! Глоток свежего воздуха после вонизма музыки последнего десятилетия
Keisha is wildly beautiful! And the song is a masterpiece! A breath of fresh air after the stink of music of the last decade
Хаха это правда! 😆
These were the days !! Sugar babes, spice girls, girls aloud, Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, even abit of cheeky girls 👧 💖 💕
Nostalgia at its best! I’m bringing this back!!! Old school vibes!!! ❤️
The visuals and video production deserves recognition.
This really has aged like fine wine, it sounds so slick
I grew up listening to the Sugababes as a kid, they were a great Girl Band for their time with 6 UK No. 1 singles on their belt including ‘Round Round’ which has always been my favourite. Even though they had a number of lineup changes.
These guys were underrated.
girls you mean tupa
Underrated? This was number 1...
@@roburtooo7938 u said it
Overall yeah they were but this song was huge in my country. Was 14 when it came out, loved it 🤣
The visual effects in this are insanely good for a 2002 music video
Sugababes, you really are very remarkable despite the flops you experience at some point in time. Your catchy songs and upbeat tunes truly make the day awesome. Thanks and more power to you.
😊
Angels with dirty faces my favourite album by sugababes, every song is a banger 🔥 👌 🙌
Their best album along with _Three_ .
There were a lot of girl groups in the late 90s and early 00s, but Sugababes was the only one where I had a crush on all the members.
this song just radiates so much of the early 2000s feeling. the had 90ies just ended. and we plunged into the 2000s with this awesome song. it was so well timed, it will never age.
Amazing! Brought back so many memories. These were the days when people put effort into making music videos. The Sugababes were just the right mix of pop and substance. 👏👏👏
This era was just amazing I'd do anything to go back to the late 90s early 2000s :( the good old days
This song is good in year 2016 !
This song is good forever
IKR!!!!👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
You arent wrong with that tho. I love this song too still
Army of lovers
army of lover this
80-90 thrash with a dash of insanity
As much as I support Mutya Keisha Siobhan in their endeavours, this lineup will always be the true Sugababes for me.
nope, Heidi's voice adds nothing to the group.
@Invisible Emo neither does yours honey 😘
@@bodo887 "No, you!" Aye, that's the way to do it. Just repeat Invisible Emo's comment but make it shit! 😂
Right? The one with Amelie or w.e her name was and then the very last one are the ones I pretend didn't exist.
@@ZuluDeadMan3 How does the saying go... you can't polish a turd? 😁
love this song, that chorus is so fun
love this song, that dancers are so fun.
Timeless underrated masterpiece!
The music is still quite current and fun to hear.
the good old times
Life was so easy back then.
So true
I mean 9/11 had like JUST happened lmaooo
I miss the early 2000's.... 😞
Me too 😭😭😭
It was hard to watch this song thru MTV when I was child, now I can come and go easily to enjoy this music 😁
good old 2000s miss those good years
Back when nobody wanted to change, nobody wanted to leave the little bits of 80s left and the 90s were still in full swing. Then kids and technology took over.
I moved to Europe as a teen from the USA and this song was one the songs that welcomed me the region. So many good memories ❤️
This song is just that damn good. Years later and it still sound so good. Yes, i did search for it.👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 theeeee chorus.
Id probably start listening to pop music again if it evolves back into this...
Lana Del Legend Fast forward into 2018 and it got worse XD
TJ, yea and the music will become even more trashier in 2030. Music from the 2000’s are awesome!
God damn I know right? This song was another childhood classic of mine.
jinsoul!!
Fastforward to 2021 and it's worse. The whiney "indie girl avocadie bananis" voice is torturing me for years already.
Mutya's beauty and voice are just so addicting.
That face and her expressions are perfect. Very sexy
I remember when my uncle got this single and played it in his clean 80s lotus as we drove around town, damnnn. When everything was really cool.
+StereoDecks +1 for the brand man! petrolheads dream for me!
I just watched their concert and these girls are still fire. Was a shame not to see Heidi but siobhan certainly slotted back in well. So pleased for them to have won the rights to the Sugababes name. Go and get the Lost tapes so these girls keep making music 🔥
They still on stage? Would love to See mutya
@@bembelsehro7684 she was flawless and husky ... yes they just finished their tour
Heidi is no longer with them ? She was one of my favorite :(
@@jhonathanpitty6157 unfortunately she fell out with keisha after the whole amelle jade scenario but hear they are on ok terms now.
Best line up of Sugababes EVER!!!!!!!!
iloveyouhunny 708
This is the one song that brings SOOO much childhood memories back. Omg LOVE.
This WILL always be my jam! Gotta to love this. GIRL POWER
We are all freed with this song! (Beca'use) she got my kicks for free! She might run now!!!!! Io amo Sugababes, magari!!!!!
2023 and this is still ICONIC
Actual: Spinning out on me
Heard: Spend the night on me
Whaaaaat?!?!? 😲 This whole time I thought it was “Spend the night on me” as well!!!!! It was only until I saw your comment that I realise that they were actually saying a clever spin on “Round Round” with that lyric! 😭
omg I thought too!!!
I'm really glad I'm not alone here
I was today years old when I discovered this! Omg!
Holy shit. That changes everything!
2021 still going strong
Those songs are actually so cool!
2023 ❤
I was only 3 when this came out and can actually still remember dancing to this in front of my big block TV ... those TVs we all had before flat screens LOL, memories :')
sugarcane0000 omg me too
Lol I was 24, that makes me feel like some kind of dinosaur.
You young ones sure make us feel like we are about 75 years old when we read things like this.....you did make me laugh
I had one fall on top of me once !! xx
beautiful innocent years!!
they did have flat screen tv back then
Producers of that era of britpop were the goats
more than a decade ago, still relevant. great song
bring back the memory :D
Still listening to this on this boring Lockdown!!💋
This song is still amazing and for some reason all the UK radio stations are playing Sugababes. Thank you Keisha, Heidi and Mutya (and to a lesser extent Amelle) to your contribution to British pop music. 2002 - 2009 were great years. its funny cos Girls Aloud were also big around this time too.
I love Keisha. She's my favourite member of the sugababes, she's so beautiful, such a good singer, talented, brilliant, amazing and I'm a massive fan of her.
She defenitely deserves more recognition
Absolutely agreed. Her voice is so stunning and soulful and beautiful. I honestly thought when I was growing up, she was the best part of the sugababes and made the sugababes wonderful and magnificent.
best bridge ever.
ASHLEY BREATHE u 't
Yes... It is very good one.. So different from the song... But it seemlessly ties in
@29Feb sober it sounds more like The Beatles' "I want you" bridge.
This was the one that sent them to the top!
I don't understand why this song wasn't distributed in the US. It's such a great song.
it was in American Pie The Wedding so it must have had a bit of traction.
@@iamskybound Yea but I think it could have cracked the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 easily if it had proper distribution in the mainstream. Anyway, maybe better most Americans don't know it. Makes it more unique.
Every now and then I have to listen to this song, to remind me how great songs were made early in the 2000'
What i love about music then is that every group or artist sounded unique and different but today everyone sounds the same
The music in this song samples Rapper Dapper Snapper by Edwin Birdsong. Just FYI :)
the Sugababes were the only girl band who could survive a line-up change and still kill it. Any other group normally dies.
This is just a proof that the chemistry between the bandmates is very important. Keisha, Heidi and Mutya indeed had the great chemistry together. When Amelle replaced Mutya, chemistry was still there although not as great as this one. But when Keisha got sacked, this is where the things went downhill...
Can we agree that Kiesha is absolutely stunning in this video? She still is a goddess!
