"Queer" LYRICS
Hey boy, take a look at me
Let me dirty up your mind
I'll strip away your hard veneer
And see what I can find
The queerest of the queer
The strangest of the strange
The coldest of the cool
The lamest of the lame
The numbest of the dumb
I hate to see you here
You choke behind a smile
A fake behind the fear
The queerest of the queer
This is what he pays me for
I'll show you how it's done
You learn to love the pain you feel
Like father like son
The queerest of the queer
Hide inside your head
The blindest of the blind
The deadest of the dead
You're hungry cause you starve
While holding back the tears
Choking on your smile
A fake behind the fear
The queerest of the queer
I know what's good for you (You can touch me if you want)
I know you're dying to (You can touch me if you want)
I know what's good for you (You can touch me if you want)
But you can't stop
The queerest of the queer
The strangest of the strange
The coldest of the cool
The lamest of the lame
The numbest of the dumb
I hate to see you here
You choke behind a smile
A fake behind the fear
The queerest of the queer
The strangest of the strange
The coldest of the cool
You're nothing special here
A fake behind the fear
The queerest of the queer
I know what's good for you
I know you're dying to
I know what's good for you
I bet you're dying to
You can touch me if you want
You can touch me if you want
You can touch me
You can touch me
But you can't stop.

This video makes me want to sleep and wake up in the 1990's. How I love Garbage
This is a cracking song, totally original in every way and the video is brilliant.MTV used to heavily play this back in the day before they abandoned real music and real people.
my favorite band
Still and always an epic song.
Me: *How many ways can one woman look beautiful/hot/sexy?*
Shirley Manson: *How much time do you have?*
Unreal ride. Love it. New people will never feel it. Sorry but times have changed in a bad way.
Randomly remember this band after not listening to them in years. Thank you for making my night!
Look how uniquely gourgeous she was, God and she lost nothing over twenty years, nothing!!!
I met her at Toronto's Much Music and besides to being down to Earth, she was gorgeously good looking.
Man, its been ages sense I've herd this song... Yet I can still sing every word, with the song, accurately.
Me still miss her and the best band that I have ever known
Thank you Garbage/Shirley. Shirley I love you.
I love when she says "you can touch me if you want" yes please!
To be such a dark vibey song, it actually sounds like a threat to me :/
Such a great band and a great song!
The good ol 90's when nobody told a badass woman she had to smile more.
@@shapelessshapefromthebay8759 Incel?
And when they did, no one was offended and needed a safe space
@@PunkRockZombie205 Shirley probably would have just ignored and went on making great music.
Thank you!
@@fountaincap Yes, she would have.
I am so glad to have had this band.
I still have their old poster on my wall up to this day and i can't help but think they've always look so cool, and still do up to this day.
Back in the day, this was my group.
End of 2021 we are still here.
this song hits different 😩 also i wish more ppl talked about this band nowadays
The 90s bring back a special place old but good!
Some Art is just out of this World.
such a timeless song. Shirley was so ahead of her time. she's an utter genius and makes me proud to be a fan!
Totally. People do not talk at all about them these days, so sad
I'd like your comment but don't want to break the 111 likes
Facts
"Ahead of their time" is one of the most overused cliches ever and is usually spurious. They were good but not in any way ahead of their time.
@@martinjames4600 Did this comment relieve some of those unwanted feelings? You wrote an unnecessary, untrue, rude comment on a really great song, why? You could absolutely make the argument that they were ahead of their time; art is subjective.
Yes… Dirty up my mind… please. :)
Why is this so seductive!? I love it! Shirley's always in charge! Get it woman. You are inspiring.
I live everything about her. Great vocal ,shes soo beautiful and cool
It's a mind striptease..
@@sheridrscoll9389 LOL
My neurons are HOOKED!
Screamin Yellow Mach she has me mindfucked so bad right now
My brain cells are touching each other just thinking about it.
