  • With the darker nights here it is definitely time to check your truck over. I found I had a couple of bulbs blown in the instrument cluster. This video shows what was wrong and how I fixed it.
    Links below are for the bulbs I changed:
    Speedo 509T bulbs (LandRover part number YAJ100370)
    Halfords: www.halfords.com/motoring/bul...
    or Amazon: amzn.to/3CGL3LF
    Temp gauge bulbs (LandRover part number RTC3635)
    Paddocks: www.paddockspares.com/rtc3635...
    Or Amazon: amzn.to/3Cz1iuc
    As with all parts double check they are correct for your vehicle.
    *Full disclosure. Some of the links above may earn a few pennies for the channel at absolutely no cost to yourself. Thanks for watching. *

    Nice one Mike the temp gauge bulb holder I had the same problem with my kit car back in the day my fix was a little body putty called dumb dumb black stuff made a little sausage shape to go on to the face of the holder then when pushed in it squeezes out slightly and held the bulb holder in place ,the putty doesn’t go hard and can be used again if the bulb needs changing just a thought 👍👨🏻‍🏭

    How to get the clock bulb out??

    • @MikeMakesIt
      @MikeMakesIt  Рік тому

      Hi, on my clock (the one I removed) the bulb holder was a simple "push into the back of the clock" type. A simple gentle pull will pull the holder from the clock, then you can get access to the bulb which also just pulls out of its holder. As with all Land Rovers, they all differ. Mine was the one I described above. I hope this helps, thanks for watching.

      Clock is an LED if you haven't found this out yet. it's not replacable by design, but you can disasemble the unit to replace it if you're careful.

    It's the worst bulb design ever. I hate missing about with them.

      Same here. Horrible style bulbs to install as is not possible to really see what you are doing, it’s all a “feel” thing!
