Thanks Will. Mate I can't think of a better example of why I have changed over to S/Steel Parts/Screws/Bolts. No more icky bits.

:) I believe they are truely stainless instead of chromed steel (did a magnet test). Not cheap though at circa £30.

Still think the best mod is to replace with Wipac crystal clear lens and nightbreaker bulbs. Great video 👍

I did a headight relay bypass which gave some extra brightness, although I may investigate more along these lines at a later date. Quite a few other things to do first!

I’m currently using led headlights which give out amazing light but suffer in wintry conditions as they don’t melt the snow that builds up on them. Bit of a con on my Landy that’s main job is my daily to work during winter in Scotland 🤣

Thanks for informative video. When you change headlights does it messed up with beam hight? I noticed that many MOT failures are due headlights aim to high or to low. Is there any way to adjust headlights without taking the car to the garage to set the lights on headlamp beam setter?

It shouldn't unless you disturb the 12 and 9 o'clock screws. However, my new headlight might need adjusting even though I didn't touch the screws

I fitted new headlights last year, I took my Defender to a local garage to get the lights adjusted correctly, the fella at the garage did it for nothing, very nice.
