You just heard one of the songs from the first album, so just listen to the rest of their entire first album in track order - it is mind blowing. And to think, all of this was released in 1969. Jimmy's guitar would often go back and forth with Robert's vocals. It's what's called a "call and response" and was something that was done often in blues songs. Do the whole first album; you won't be sorry. Also, introduce your friends to all of the great music you discover, that's how you keep it rolling.
@@gerhardbraatz6305 in 1969, both Robert and Bonzo (the youngest) would have been 20 (the album was released in January 1969 and their birthdays are in August and May, respectively), Jonesy would have been 23, and Jimmy would have been 25.
They were the greatest band to come out of the late sixties and 70 a. Amazing and this album is over 50 years old. There’s never been another band ever to match them.
Led Zeppelin... Robert Plant...vocals/harmonica Jimmy Page...greatest guitarist on the planet John Bonham...drums John Paul Jones...bass/keyboards/mandolin and EVERYTHING ELSE!
Talk about being shook! You might as well go through their entire catalog… it’s all good. Since you were shook you might as well become Dazed and Confused too.
As ya'll are learning, all Zep songs are hits. Hope you listen to every song on every album. Totally worth it...you'll be listening to them the rest of your lives like most of us older peeps who were fortunate enough to see them live in concert. You've got fans in their 50s & 60s who appreciate your appreciation for good music. Keep up the reactions!
Hello guys, Great reaction to a timeless song. It is so heartening to see young folks appreciating music from before their time. I'm 62 yo, grew up with this music and felt what you guys are feeling now. Jump down the Led Zep rabbit hole. You will not be disappointed. Subscribed, !inked and now commented. Keep listening and reacting boys. LZ - Greatest rock band ever!
These 2 young lads might not be aware that it was their great grand dad's that originated this music but you can tell they are feeling it. it's stamped on their DNA
GOATS!! Some people will refer Black Dog, Rock and Roll or Stairway to Heaven which are good songs but they has so many many more great songs! Its like having 4 Michael Jordans in the Band. Robert Plant singer, Jimmy The Man Page, John " Bonzo" Bonham the Goat on drums and John Paul Jones on bass guitar/keyboards. Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused, Communication Breakdown, Down by the seaside. 10 years gone, in my time of dying, Babe Im gonna Leave, House of the holy and I could go on and on! Very glad the next generation is getting to know and appreciate true artists
These are the two Led Zeppelin reactions I have seen most worthless, thx. After just two pieces you still have a lot of surprise and pleasure to discover Led Zep. This group remains and will remain timeless
MAN! that feeling you guys are getting is the same exciting feeling I got and ALWAYS get when listening to Zep. As a matter of fact we did just what you guys are doing. Hang in someones car and jam! You guys are awesome dudes
Honestly, this song is probably like #20 on my list of favorite Zeppelin songs if that gives you an idea of how good they are!! Kashmir, Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven, The Lemon Song, Over the Hills and Far Away, No Quarter, Dazed and Confused... It gets better! I would suggest headphones 🎧 because older music pans from ear to ear! Watch doing live videos cause they get blocked more than audio! Keep them coming! ❤
This is an example of what happens when individuals who were virtuosos in their own skills come together to form a band. You've heard a couple of their very bluesy tracks. They were very blues-based, but you have some surprises coming....some very amazing surprises.
Dazed and confused (which is actually the next song on the album). There is a double drop in it after the guitar solo that’ll amaze. The black crows from the 90’s and Greta Van Fleet are both good carriers of the torch for this kind of sound. Zeppelin did it better than anyone.
Yeah, we had the Beatles and the Stones, but when this album hit, it changed R&R forever. Btw, they were greatly influenced by the old black blues performers, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters etc. Their the ones you gentlemen should also take a listen to. Keep up the great reactions guys.
They have a HUGE catalog! Some are going to be hit or miss. Some are covers but they’re damn good! You like the bluesy feel, check out When the Levee Breaks
Go down to your local record store and buy all 4 albums on CD or what ever you are using. It is a major part of exploring this band of all bands LED Zeppelin. It's part of the process of adding LED to your life. Great job ,I'd be very happy to watch you young men listen to all of there songs.
I loved watching the both of you reacting to Led Zeppelin, seeing how much you guys fell in love with my favorite band, was wonderful. I’ve revisited some of your reactions, & thanks for taking me on your journey.
Y’all just got ‘took to church’ when that organ came in!! Welcome to the Fam of Zep! Love the reaction; keep digging the classics and go back to the roots of all of it… 🤘🏼🤘🏼

LED ZEPPELIN LIVE IN MSG 1973, PINK FLOYD LIVE PULSE CONCERT 1994 AND ANY LIVE JETHRO TULL PLUS HEADPHONES, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING WITHOUT THEM!
God there’s so many that could be recommended…idk where to even begin. They had a huge blues influence and loved it. If you haven’t gotten into Pink Floyd, I’d recommend them for another new artist as well. Both are fantastic!
This is my favorite ZEP song. It’s simply the best. It’s electric blues. This first album is the best Rock album of all time. It’s definitely their bluesiest which makes it their best. 1969, can you believe That?! Nobody questions LED ZEPPELIN!
Zep, following the lead of guitarist Jimmy Page's prior group (The Yardbirds), took good old American Black Blues, rockified and decibelised them into Blues Rock, which in turn begat Funk Rock, Prog Rock and Hard Rock. One tune- both Blues AND Funk you'll like: Nobody's Fault but Mine, Live Knebworth, 1979 and there's a version where they're older Live Celebration Day, London, 2007. Enjoy- peace from Canada. btw Like Zep? nobody on this planet. But worthy? Oh yeah: Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Rush, Yes, Supertramp, Eurythmics, The Who, Tool, Queen, The Kinks, Deep Purple, The Clash, Unleash the Archers, Talking Heads... and that's just the rockers!

I know that feeling , the first time I listened to them was back in high school , Led Zeppelin knocked me on my ass the first time I listened to them. I still listen to them to this day. You guys should review “black dog “ also other great bands like The Who, Rush, Boston ,
I subscribed to your channel today, but only because I see you finally got headphones on another video. As far as suggestions for more Led Zeppelin songs, it really doesn’t matter. There are no bad ones. I recommend you do their entire catalog starting from this record track by track. The great news is you have a lifetime to love this music and you will. Quality never goes out of style and there is no greater quality than Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin music is the soundtrack of my life and I love it. Enjoy it guys! Well done you.👏👏🙂🇺🇸🏳️🌈
The organ you're hearing in the song is an electric keyboard called a "Hammond organ", which was very common in 60s and 70s rock bands. It faded out in the 80s in favor of synthesizers...and thus remains a very period sound. But an awesome one!
Zeppelin is tops forever. If y'all wanna get into more classic rock I recommend The Rolling Stones next you'll love them. Try Miss You, Midnight Rambler, and Star Star.
Subscribed when you got out of the car...you love them as millions of us have for 50+ years. 👍❤🤙 After many more LZ songs (read up on them) then your next journey will be Pink Floyd. Holy shit. 😲
Zeppelin has strong roots in blues. In the 60’s, many white US bands ignored the influence of blues due to racism, but British bands like Led Zep embraced it.
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. One of the most memorable songs was "Dazed and Confused" but you have to see a live version to really understand how electrifying it was in person.
Led Zep is the pinnacle. Greta Van Fleet is more of a “cover” band. Rival Sons is it. They’ve managed to reach out into the ether and tap into the .. very .. soul .. of Led Zeppelin. Electric Man, Keep on Swinging, Too Bad are just three of a huge list of incredible songs. Give them a listen. I promise you’ll love them!😎👍
That is the multi instrumentalist, great John Paul Jones on organ. Robert Plant, vocals and harmonica. And of course, Jimmy Page, lead guitar. And John Bonham on drums. 🐐🐐🐐🐐
I have been following your journey through Led Zeppelin so far... I know that you are only 3 in, but I LOVE seeing your response to this great music. So many great songs to do. Maybe check out Kasmir, The Immigrant Song, or When The Levee breaks next... I suggest these for a reason. I want to show you hear how many times the first and last song have been sampled... I guarantee you will recognize some of these two in more modern music.... and The Immigrant Song is iconic for another reason lol... Anyway, you can't go wrong with ANY Led Zeppelin song. Facts 😊
Led Zeppelin are among the gods of Rock n' Roll!!! And seeing this band created and formed in my time 1968 and watching and experiencing their music over the years has been Dope!!!! And watching you guys in the current generation scream and get chills....and cry and fall in love with one of the greatest Rock n' Roll band in the History of music...is ..Awesome!!!! However....you guys are just scratching the surface of the greatness of this group. And there are other gods in the music universe that are equal to Led Zeppelin. One of them is another band that I fell in Love with in 1969. I want you guy to react to "Roundabout" by YES. Give it a try!!! See if you can handle it!!! They are nothing you have heard or will EVER hear in this Life time!!!! Trust me bros.
You should check out the stuff that is on here from when they performed as The New Yardbirds for a few months before changing name to Led Zeppelin. Jimmy was in The Yardbirds when it broke up and I guess he figured why not stick with the familiarish name while he finally ran the show making the music he wanted. I think they got sued and had to change names? Thank God for that. Anyhow, The New Yardbirds material is just rougher versions of LZ songs, with some leftover Yardbirds songs Jimmy Wrote. But you can hear the brilliance, like an uncut diamond showing the light within.
GOATS! Its like having 4 Michael Jordans in the band! Great reaction. I Also to see another generation starting to listenting and appreciating great artistry great music! Im 47 and shared a room with a 3 year older bro may he RIP Tom, listened to all the Classic Rock and Rock so I was so young listening to the greats! Have fun. My other fav band is Black Sabbath. If you havent did any reaction yet check them out! Good job.
My dudes, I suggest you give a listen to Stairway To Heaven, 1973 MGS performance is killer. The Ocean, Black Dog, In My Time Of Dying, When The Levee Breaks, No Quarter are good starters. Led Zeppelin are a band people will listen to and talk about 100 years from now, they are THAT great. Dive deep if you can, its a treat for us to watch. Cheers!
Robert Plant is the swag master. He got more bumper than a body shop. You must check out the MSG concert and you will see what I’m taking about. He’s also blowing that harmonica
This album is what made them my favorite band. Imagine growing up when these albums were being released and they were brand new! I KNOW! It’s wild! Look up video on the crash of the Hindenburg. That’s what this album cover is. World famous catastrophe.
It's refreshing to see the younger generation listening to music I grew up with. Keep it up 👍 Willie Dixon originally done this , Yes that's an organ , Which LZ used a lot on their first (debut) album Your time is gonna Come Baby , Come on Home Dazed & Confused All from same album > any are great to react to 😎
I was 16 in England in 1969, when this was released, and bought the album not sure what to expect as I probably had only heard one track on a radio station. This sort of material wasn’t played on mainstream radio, so I possibly heard it on Radio Luxembourg or late evening programmes on BBC Radio 1. I was looking for something to replace Cream who had broken up in 1968, so LZ filled the bill. I saw LZ live in 1970 but I have to say that, having seen the original Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, not the later version with Stevie Nicks etc., Fleetwood Mac were a much superior live act, but still enjoyed many LZ recordings.
No one was similar at the time, but heavy rock and medial patterned themselves after the Zeppelin sound. You might stay with album one that you’re currently on, and move through it.
The Page and Plant No Quarter CD has a newer flavor with the Egyptian orchestra on it . Got to see that concert when they toured for it in 94 ! Really adds more of the middle eastern feel to it !

Studio Zeppelin really requires headphones. They utilize stereo unlike anyone else.
Headphones are coming in the near future, we are still working on a set up 🙌
EXACTLY!!!!! Headphones take it to another level. You can not exsperience true Zepplin without headphones. Same with Pink Floyd.
umm, i disagree. Led Zeppelin requires hundreds of watts of power pumped through very large woofers
That was a Hammond B3 organ played through a Leslie speaker

Appreciate you so much! Cheers back!
Great electric blues. Love your reaction.
I love how you guys get out of the car. Good night everybody!
When Giants Walked The Earth 🌎
It's refreshing to see the younger generation listening to music I grew up with. Keep it up 👍
Willie Dixon originally done this , Yes that's an organ , Which LZ used a lot on their first (debut) album
Your time is gonna Come
Baby , Come on Home
Dazed & Confused
All from same album > any are great to react to 😎
Thank you, by Led Zeppelin is amazing also
This song is a balls-to-the-wall strut.
You’re listening to the voice of a 19 year old Robert Plant. Their debut album is pure gold from start to finish
When the levee breaks........................headphones
Led Zeppelin is the blues on steroids
Kashmir studio version is a must!
The Page and Plant No Quarter CD has a newer flavor with the Egyptian orchestra on it . Got to see that concert when they toured for it in 94 ! Really adds more of the middle eastern feel to it !
