You gentlemen bring a smile to my face, it's like hearing it for the first time again ! There aren't many reaction channels that I can honestly say that about. Keep on learning and listening about the music! To pigeon hole yourselves to one type of music, IMHO, is a big mistake you'll miss out on some beautiful music ! As a kid growing up our FM stations played things from Charlie Daniels, to Zeppelin and everything in between. This is when AM was the only thing in cars, unless yer folks were able to afford a Caddy, Lincoln or another type of high end car. Then if you could afford it an 8 track, put in by yerself. So you young'ens are quite lucky in that respect, but it's kinda a two edged sword ! Now you get bombarded with all kinds of creepy shit that I didn't know about until later on ! And I'm going to subscribe to yer channel and if I make a comment on something and I call you " boys " it's not out of disrespect it's a sign of age, cuz I've a granddaughter a bit older than you! So good luck with your channel and study yer asses off, be kind to people and follow the " golden rule " !
Some many people forgot the blues, as a 97 baby I’m learning that music they tried to hide from us then they try and hide from us now. But some many of us are learning the blues are where it’s at!?! Blues had a child with jazz and had a baby named rock an roll!?!?!
How many bands can you genuinely say don't have a bad song? Led Zeppelin's floor exceeds most bands' ceilings. Truly a transcendent experience and a gift to the world from the music gods.
Hot Dog on In Through The Outdoor is the worst song they shat out. It's a good thing to remember though: No matter how great you are, you will ALWAYS be capable of putting out stinkers.
@JON.I MANZ I listened to hot dog most recently its got a Elvis vibe to it Elvis was a hero of Robert Plant so maybe it was a reminder of him and his music. Remember Jim Morrison was a huge Elvis fan not bad at all!
The unusual guitar sound you'll hear in this track is Jimmy Page using a Cello bow on the guitar, playing it like a violin. The 28-minute live version of this song from 1973 in Madison Sq. Garden is legendary.
Do the 1973 version at MSG. I was there as a guest of a Marine corps buddy of mine. His girlfriend even hooked me up with her cousin. That was a week in July I have never forgot.
I'm seeing a trend that many young African American men and women are discovering the bluesy soulful greatness of Zepplin and I love it. This band makes you feel the story and the music like no other. I'm hoping that some younger bands will revive this style of music with new songs with real talented musicians and soulful singers. Maybe they already are, but i haven't found them yet.
That's the kind of reaction we're expecting guys. It's like I'm 17 again and this song shakes me to my core. sorry it can't be repeated. but guys like you help to remember this feeling a little.
Dazed and Confused is pretty much the most exhausting song to listen to, ever. There’s so much going on, and the pace and energy just builds and builds, and then that turbo-charged beat kicks in after the spacey part, and Jimmy’s ridiculously fast and loose solo practically gives me a heart attack every time.
LIVE LIVE LIVE!!! You have to watch them live!! Anything from Live at Madison Square Garden 1973!!🎶🎶 Makes me smile so big to see y'all loving Zeppelin so much!!🎶
What a great raw reaction to a band that blew me away in 1969 as a freshman in High School. The English in the mid to late 60's had really taken the American Blues and adapted it to their own style and it was amazing. This first album was a gem from start to finish and in my opinion truly one of the greatest debut recordings ever released. It hit you right in the face and stirred your very soul in a way that I had not experience before. They were simply so young to be that good and their catalogue stands up to this very day. Enjoy this Zeppelin ride!
DAZED AND CONFUSED 1973 Madison Square Garden performance. Don't just listen, watch. You must see all 28 minutes of it to believe it. Wait, 28 minutes? Yeah man, 28 minutes! Best Led Zeppelin performance ever captured, greatest in all of rock music.
Led Zeppelin's first concert in the United States was in Denver, Colorado on December 24th, 1971. I was blessed to be there. It was amazing. I'm 68 now and love to see your reactions to the best band ever!
Watching you guys listening to this for the first time, brings back so many memories. I had only just got my first car back in 1970. The first thing we all did was to put a new stereo and speakers in right away. I remember hearing this for the first time just as you are doing. In The car, volume cranked up to maximum, and of course we had some herb cooking too. We were blown away by Zeppelin. It was a fantastic time to be 16. So many great bands were around at that time. Led Zeppelin had to be the ultimate.
This sounds better than a lot of stuff you hear today because it doesn't take as much talent today to create "music". Back in our day you didn't have auto tune and other electronic/tech equipment to put out instruments and fix your voice to sound better. You had to actually be able to sing and play and instrument and most of the bands wrote all their own music and lyrics... also, unlike today. It's why music from that era still sounds good... will you be listening to the majority of today's music in 50 years? Probably not. You'll still be listening to Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, etc.... 50 years from now.
Don't worry, I have no doubt the headphones and whatever other parts of a setup you guys want will come. The strange sound in the middle is Jimmy using a violin bow on the guitar; he said in an interview that they used to buy used violin bows by the case-full because it was cheaper than buying them new. This album came out in January, 1969 in the US and March, 1969 in the UK. Singer Robert Plant and drummer John Bonham were both 21, bassist John Paul Jones was 23, and guitarist Jimmy Page was 25. You will find a lot of their music inspires moods/emotions and will definitely make you feel a kind of way. Try the first song from their first album, it's called Good Times Bad Times.
I'm not sure if it was zay or zel who said that he was breathing heavy , but it made me laugh. Listening to this band is definitely a physical experience. Sometimes I realize I am holding my breath. My pick right now is Kashmir . Oh yeah, don't over look the basist John Paul Jones , He is also playing the " Church organ " for the band . Thanks for another great reaction.
Zeppelin and Rush...2 rabbit holes that you won't escape from. Endless virtuosity and mind blowing music spanning so many albums, sounds, textures. The 2 most epic rock bands ever.
British rock from the 60s & 70s is the pinnacle of music. Led zep, sabbath, pink Floyd, queen, beatles, stone's, and many others changed music forever.👌
I'm pretty sure singer and drummer were like 19 or 20 when this was recorded, bassist and guitarist were like 23 or something. Insane to keep that in perspective when you hear this. Great videos. Fun to watch you enjoy it so much....great journey ahead of you. "Babe I'm gonna leave you" / "in my time if dying" / "song remains the same" & "rain song" live at msg 1973. Have to listen to both back to back. And songs others have mentioned, or pretty much anything from them is stupid good. (I see somebody already mentioned their ages lol)
What a fun reaction fellas... I gotta say, when you said they were 3 for 3 I chuckled. I once was asked to make a list of Zeppelin's top ten songs, so I decided to check out what different writers/critics had in their lists... After checking out seven lists, a total of 37 different songs made it into someone's Zeppelin top ten.
That’s Zeppelin man. Their music hits different, I’m 28 and I can only imagine what people thought of this back in the 60s and 70s when it was brand new. Insane raw talent 👏👏
You continue on this road ….you will be spoiled for all other music….hard to classify them as rock, blues, metal or just THE G.O.A.T. of super bands…..never be another like them….PERIOD!
I agree,if you watch the 29 minute dazed and confused live at MSG will blow your mind! In my opinion its the best musical performance on you tube. Its not my favorite zeppelin song, but the performance is incredible. Jimmy page uses so many different styles of playing its crazy. And pretty much 28 minutes of 29 is a guitar solo.
Totally agree. It is a jam-fest. They improv so many different songs and styles including Jimmy playing his guitar with a violin (some say it's a cello) bow. Incredible.
When they switch it up, not only is the guitar and vocal doing call and response, but so is the drums and bass. The sound in your car is fine. Better for you to have headphones but you’ll get there!
This is an old blues tune. Zeppelin made it their own. I always see a T-Rex walking the streets to this! I’m reliving my first time with this - 17 , live at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco in ‘69!
Life long Zep fan here. I actually suggest doing studio tracks until you learn more about them. It's more fun to hear them live when you already know the song. And I don't think the live at Madison Square Garden (the vid most be react to) is actually all that great. If you can find earlier live recordings, they're more fun. Cheers,
I love coming back to these reactions! They are priceless. It truly was a excellent time to be alive. Led Zep, Yes, Queen, Jimi, ELP….. All were great live, too!
Discovered your channel tonight. Enjoying all your Led reactions. Greatest rock band of all time! I feel so fortunate to have grown up with such amazing music.
And will be right here supporting you gentlemen we’re gonna help you get to that place you wanna be at you just keep listening the great music from the past man. I’m a 60 year old man and man we were spoiled with music I mean even country music had good stuff back then now Motown classic rock pop rock disco Southern rock it was all good.
just chuckling as I watch you both rocking out. Way back decades ago, there was that moment for me when first really listened to Led Zeppelin. Epic classic rock that continues to move those who listen.
Definitely check out more Zep!!! Also Pink Floyd, if you like more of that blues style I recommend starting with maybe “Shine on you crazy diamond” by them but honestly, both bands have so many great songs it’s easy to pick any from any of their albums.
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. They did this song both times. Dazed and Confused is electrifying in person. I am 33 days old than the lead singer, Robert Plant. :-)
You guys are very enjoyable to watch! I love watching you both freak out to this amazing music that blew me away so many years ago and still does! Thank you Bros!!
I love the way you guys react!! We all reacted like this when we first heard them way back when!! Live it! We were into them at , 13,14,15 and when I finally saw them at 16, at Madison Square Garden, 1976! Not one else has ever come close! Nothing like having 17,000 people rocking to Zeppelin together! Awesome! Glad you guys get it!
Yeah I just subscribed . I love your reactions to Led Zeppelin, my favorite band. I was going to mention Pink Floyd and I heard you mention them first. Don't miss out on them either. But I am super excited about Led Zeppelin, magical.
I am 66 and English. Love your admiration of Zeppelin. Your videos are fantastic. Saw them in Earl's Court I think I was 19 . Love you blokes. Take care
Nothing makes me happier than when you have to stop it because you just can't take any more. I love it. This came out when I was in junior high. When this came on the radio, it was a major WTF moment. Absolutely jaw dropping.
Hey Guys. Have fun on this Zeppelin ride. Give "Stairway to Heaven" and "Ten Years Gone" a try. You will be amazed. There are so many songs to chose from. You will find out for yourselves. Have Fun and Thank You. 👍
I absolutely adore you too! I’m a huge Zep fan, but watching you guys listening to it. Brings me such joy and I know you truly love them which is so magical to see a young person say hey I like Led Zeppelin, rock on dudes.
I saw Zeppelin at Day On The Green in Oakland California.........It was the hot place to go. The concert was at the baseball stadium, We managed to get way up front about 20" from the band..There generally was 3 bands that played. Check it out, Billy Graham Day on the Green...........That was my time and it was incredible. I'm 66 now...
It still amazes me that this is their first album!!! Yes, a lot of the songs were sort of stolen from old blues artists, but how the Zep boys pulled it off. Watching you 2 makes my heart smile.
You young dudes give me chills listening to this. I was 9 yrs old when my older brother's friend across the street gave me this album. My very first album in life! This song and the whole album is part of my DNA. Love watching you guys discovering this!
You guys nailed it when you said imagine how it was to hear this stuff back in the day. When Rock n Blues was young this was so heavy you chilled in a daze. Rock On !
growing up in the 70s, i heard this song blasted on quad speakers getting high in the back of a van parked out in nowhere soooo many times. its just how it was.
Great that you're enjoying the best rock band to ever grace the earth. Although you have great speakers in your car, still need to listen with a decent set of headphones, otherwise you're missing out on too much. I'm going to also agree with others that you might want to just start with album 1, track 1 and work your way through. Taking recommendations is great but seriously, just about everything they ever did can be recommended so you'll easily lose track. Anyway, love your reactions. Been my favorite group for over 50 years and I love it when people new to LZ enjoy it as much. Might be fun to do a studio version reaction, then try to find a decent video of a live performance of the same song. They were something else live, I can tell you. :)
Don't change a thing! Keep doin what you do! I grew up listening to Zep and great music in my car. Turned up! Brings back great memories with my friends! Thanks fellas!
You gentlemen bring a smile to my face, it's like hearing it for the first time again ! There aren't many reaction channels that I can honestly say that about. Keep on learning and listening about the music! To pigeon hole yourselves to one type of music, IMHO, is a big mistake you'll miss out on some beautiful music ! so true! Got me into it like the first time i trip on the street to this song! Amaizing guys! Hi from Argentina

Blues had a child with jazz and had a baby named rock an roll!?!?!
the wierd sound in the middle is jimmy page playing electric guitar using a cello bow! like a fucking BOSS!
Led Zeppelin is the Greatest Rock band that will ever walk the planet 🤘
Zepplin is the view from the top of the mountain. Period.
How many bands can you genuinely say don't have a bad song? Led Zeppelin's floor exceeds most bands' ceilings. Truly a transcendent experience and a gift to the world from the music gods.
Well said... Their albums are like 90% awesome songs, very few "throw-aways"
Hot Dog on In Through The Outdoor is the worst song they shat out. It's a good thing to remember though: No matter how great you are, you will ALWAYS be capable of putting out stinkers.
Zeppelin and the smiths are the only bands that literally could not make a bad song, though the smiths made alot less music
@JON.I MANZ I listened to hot dog most recently its got a Elvis vibe to it Elvis was a hero of Robert Plant so maybe it was a reminder of him and his music. Remember Jim Morrison was a huge Elvis fan not bad at all!
Two words: Roy Harper
There is most definitely a resurgence of classic rock. Never forget how little tech was involved too.
Led Zeppelin is not just the best rock band, They are the best band ever 😮😮
Greatest Band Ever! Keep listening to all their songs. Gets better and better. Do since I’ve been loving you live at Madison Square Garden 1973
When Jimmy was lulling you with that bow on the guitar strings, I kept thinking, ‘put your seatbelts on” 🤣🤣🤣
The unusual guitar sound you'll hear in this track is Jimmy Page using a Cello bow on the guitar, playing it like a violin. The 28-minute live version of this song from 1973 in Madison Sq. Garden is legendary.
NICE! 🔥🔥🤟🏼🤟🏼🔝Absolutelyyy! The live 28-minute version is out of this world 💫
1970s live version is way better, plants voice is prime
It is the greatest performance you will ever see!
Do the 1973 version at MSG. I was there as a guest of a Marine corps buddy of mine. His girlfriend even hooked me up with her cousin. That was a week in July I have never forgot.
Saw them play D&C live in the mid 70s. Mind blowing to say the least.
I'm seeing a trend that many young African American men and women are discovering the bluesy soulful greatness of Zepplin and I love it. Whatever brings the people together! Thank you LZ, and Z&Z
Still gives me goosebumps. So happy to see this generation appreciate it, too.
the drummer and singer were 20 years old when they did this album!!!
you guys BOUNCING after the drop is the best thing ive seen today! lol you boys were feeling it!
Right?! I get a kick out of watching them discover what we've known all along.
@@brneydgrl1 yeh and then they vanished
best band ever and they were THIS GOOD straight out of the gate from their 1st album!!

Never gets old watching people's first time reactimg to Led Zeppilin, especially this song.
Dazed and Confused is pretty much the most exhausting song to listen to, ever. Bro that drum solo at 4:54 is so fkn good it's nuts how he does that, it just shows why most ppl say that John Bonham is the best drummer of all time
Bro it was crazy!
He was!

Yes please. A thousand Led Zeppelin songs in a row. Every song is magic. Unbelievably good.
It’s so much fun getting to see you discover this band. They are the best, in my opinion.
led zeppelin (and pink floyd) sound best on headphones! you hear sooo much more than even good speakers
I thoroughly agree with this statement.

Seriously, just start with the first album and do the whole catalog in order. We will follow.

Yes we will, "Led Head" here, waiting for it🤟🤩
Love you guys Reactions and Yes they are the GOAT.
It's not just the instrumentation, it's the arrangement, the composition. You guys get it.
Back in the day it cost you $5 for an early ticket and $6 the day of the concert to go see these guys. This was when Rock Gods walked the Earth.

One of the many things that Led Zeppelin is the best at is their transitions and ability change direction within their songs. Amazing...
I got nothing but love for you two. You’re exactly where I was at your age. In a car jamming to Led Zeppelin! Keep it up you’ve got a lot to discover.
I saw them in 77...I was 17 at my first concert....the best live concert ive ever seen...and I saw them all!
Saw them in 77 also. 👍
@@Anne-pv9cb cool what city...I was in San Diego
Since I’ve been loving you live 🙏🏻
Led Zeppelin is the G.O.A.T and they taught me all you need is three cords and the truth. That's Rock' N' Roll
You guys nailed it when you said imagine how it was to hear this stuff back in the day. When Rock n Blues was young this was so heavy you chilled in a daze. Rock On !
I LOVED LOVED LOVED your reactions!!! So good to see young fellas like you appreciating this class act!
Watch "Song remains the Same"...live on youtube...it was a 2 hour movie that played in theatres...in 76 Its fuckin badass!
Bros just watched subscribed that was awesome seeing you react! the transitions ! 🤟
There's no going back now. Can't wait for you to see them live
growing up in the 70s, i heard this song blasted on quad speakers getting high in the back of a van parked out in nowhere soooo many times. its just how it was.
How many more times is one of my favorite songs from them. Enjoyed your reaction bro’s. Also the Wonton Song and Achilles last stand.
Great reaction. Check out D'Yer Maker or Trampled Under Foot
Don't change a thing! Keep doin what you do! I grew up listening to Zep and great music in my car. Turned up! Brings back great memories with my friends! Thanks fellas!
