Led Zeppelin is THE. GOAT. And if Zay loves this drummer (John "Bonzo" Bonham) now, wait until he sees (you NEED to watch the live performance) & hears "Led Zeppelin: Moby Dick". It's about 15 minutes of Bonzo establishing himself as the undisputed King.

Congratulations on figuring out the headphone situation! I'd almost say redo all the Zep songs WITH the headphones so you can hear what you missed the first time around. I betcha people would still be here for it; I know I would. This song was inspired by Howlin' Wolf's song Killing Floor and Robert Johnson's Travelling Riverside Blues. This song is a great example of some of John Paul Jones' bass work; he is vastly underrated and is considered the "Swiss army knife" of the group because he can play damn near any instrument, arrange, and produce. The sped-up part is what they used to call a "rave-up" and was meant to get the audience hyped and on their feet dancing. Happy Easter to you guys and your families and shout out to your Moms' supporting your channel. 😁

Led Zeppelin are one of the few headline bands whose members have never been recognised by the UK honours system. One time the Queen met 3 guitarists, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page (of Led Zeppelin). She clearly didn't know who they were and when she got to Jimmy she said 'Are you another guitarist' and he said something simple like 'yes'. There's a video of this on youtube somewhere.

Probably because Led Zeppelin were the ones who invented the phrase "party like a rock star." They were notorious for their off-stage antics. Destroying hotel rooms and such. And their reputation likely kept them from getting such "official respect."
