I saw Hendrix at the Randell's Island in 1970. My friends and I did not know he was going to perform. We went to listen to mountain, who had a very nice guitar player Leslie west. Well later that evening Hendrix came on , and the fact that we saw him at New paul`s sunny college earlier that year made it a grand time for all. I thought at New paul`s Hendrix played abit better than at Randell`s show. But it was a summer of Hard Rock.

Concrete basement party, billiards table, half kegger in the outside stairwell, bong pit, pretty girls, one light above the pool table, and Led Zeppelin A to Z on the reel to reel blasting from 6 in the evening until the sun came up around 5am. That's how we did it in my neighborhood.

The dj said it was Led Zepoelin. My mom said let's go to Target and buy the album. No albums but we found Kashmir on an 8 track tape. Been a fan since! My mom as well Miss ya mom...you raised me well❤ Thank You was her favorite
