    Use a rupes wool course pad 5in with some polish bro. Those little blemishes you see will remove without all the cutting. But great job. That is what you want. But try that and trust me. Much easier.

    glad to see your improvement. This time you didn't burn through the paint like you did a while back on the black SUV(it happens when you're learning how to polish). Keep finding your way while leaving the cockiness behind. love the content!

    Nice work! Do you use something different to coat the trim? I thought MOHs was safe to be used on everything.

    I just found your channel and subscribed. Great tutorial and technique. Couple of questions for your buddy. How long did the whole process take? What did you use on trim or plastic? Thanks again and will be watching all of your videos now.

    You should do a video on what a one step is a 2 step and a 3 step and how to do them as well and where can I get those green towels btw what brand are they ?

      You will almost never be performing a 3 step paint correction on everyday type vehicles. Someone who is looking for a 3 step correction is probably for a showroom car who will never be driving it. 2 steps and 1 steps are where it’s at for detailers. A great 2 step correction that gives amazing results damn near every time for me I found is a micro fiber cutting pad with menzerna 400. Follow that up with a black foam pad and sonax perfect finish 🔥🔥. If the defects aren’t too bad but still want to perform a faster 2 step; yellow foam pad and menzerna 400 then follow up once again with black foam pad and perfect finish. The results speak for itself every time!!

    Do you ever use the Flex 3401? It really struggles to finish on some paints, especially black, but it can potentially be very efficient for a 1-step.

    After the polish do you wash the car off to get all the extra polish off or do you just wipe it off with some apc

    • @AutoAppeal
      @AutoAppeal Рік тому

      Don't use apc you can use carpro eraser or just some alcohol.

      Either use what the person below said or if you really want to be cheap just buy alcohol & dillute it with distilled water: accomplishes the same thing and you save money.

  • @EBKFiXXY
    @EBKFiXXY Рік тому +1

    Using a fine polish and a foam pad ? 🤣 ALWAYS WOOL IF YOU WANT REAL CORRECTION! And use a heavy compound i don’t use anything but M105 or Sonax looks good but I would’ve had it look way better paying me 650 I would taken extra care of them

    • @COOLRJD2000
      @COOLRJD2000 Рік тому +2

      This is purely dependent on paint. You can get away with using a fine polish on Japanese paint as it's soft. If you try that on a BMW with ceramic clear, lol good luck.
      Rule is you always start less abrasive first. Although his passes were still very fast, lots of product left on the panel.
