Fantastic video. One thing they forgot to mention is that any towels you use for buffing off ceramic should be thrown away. It’s almost like having a thin layer of glass in your towel
Just did this. First layer went on like butter. Waited 12 hours. Second coat was much tougher to wipe off and I’m not sure why based on my experience with ceramics, but the finish looks insanely good. I might recommend just one coat of carbon force.
I just used this product on my 2021 Mustang EcoBoost HPP, and it turned out amazing. There are also some great videos on how to correct any mistakes like overlap or high spots. Just wanted to say though this I'm very happy with the Ceramic Coat, and I plan on buying more of it and applying it to more cars.
Love these guys and their videos & products! My question is, I've seen other Chemical Guys videos on ceramic coatings where it says you should strip off all waxes and coatings before applying a ceramic coating because it bonds better to the paint instead of to an existing wax or glaze. In this video I see there're polishing just before applying the ceramic coating. Anyone have any other information on this? Thanks

Can’t wait for my Carbon Force to arrive in the mail, was supposed to get it today but FedEx didn’t come through. Really looking forward to applying this to my truck. Thanks for the great products and content.
Awesome videos. When you guys fast-forward in your videos, could you show the speed on the screen? That’ll make it easier for us to make sure we know what speeds to mimic.
Gonna apply this to a BMW X3 and my vehicle which is a 2015 Chevy Sonic. And its black. So its gonna turn out amazing. Just coming back to watch some videos for entertainment. Happy detailing to you guys!
I am looking forward to doing this to my truck in the summer and was wondering if you have any videos on how to correct a mistake with the ceramic coating like missing a spot when removing and finding it after several hours or days etc....Thanks, I love all your products and videos.
Can you show how to polish SUV/Trucks with ridges on the roof with a polisher? Smooth surfaces seem easy enough but not sure how to get in between those ridges.
@David Harden you can get a smaller backing plate for your polisher. If your really needing to get in between even tighter areas. You can use a drill with a polisher attachment that has a 3” backing combination pad.
If your just applying a new coat of wax from about a year ago on my daily driver, is it a good idea to use Wipeout before an annual coat of wax and ceramic spray?
Also my Rav4 has some chips...alot of swirls...scuff marks...a couple of places where the scratches are down to the primer finish. Will this video application be useful?
I’m getting ready to apply carbon force in my SUV. It is a pearl white and white has very minimum scratches; I was planning on using VSS as a one step polish. Do you recommend that or just go with the two steps you used in this video? Also, is only one orange pad enough to do a full car or should I get a few?
Hey! We recommend using VSS Scratch And Swirl Remover. One pad will be more then enough for an entire vehicle. Thanks for watching and happy detailing!
I am looking to Ceramic coating my 4 door F-250 with a long bed. Can I get two coats with just one bottle? I am looking to do painted areas and all the glass.
I have a Dodge Hellcat with a matte finish hood, matte finish top and matte finish deck lid. Can the B36, B38 and carbon force be applied on that type of finish?

So you can’t wash the towel and use it again?
Yeah, why not wash with hot water & soap to be able to reuse?
i’m getting into paint correction and coating cars, i’ve been using your guy’s product and i couldn’t be more satisfied with it

Unless you’re a pro detailer, you won’t mimic their speed.
@@davidclute6110 I meant speed as in velocity across the surface, not total amount of time to complete the job.

Amazing video. Excellent presentation thank you for this, you guys give everyone the confidence to do this. Plus your products are amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can u add anything else on top of the ceramic to make it more better as in more "better shiny or better"
After u polished it,did u have spray it to get rid of any oils for better ceramic adhesiveness
Hi Xavier! It would be best to use a surface prep spray such as Wipe Out to remove oils and residue before applying ceramic.
I am looking forward to doing this to my truck in the summer and was wondering if you have any videos on how to correct a mistake with the ceramic coating like missing a spot when removing and finding it after several hours or days etc....Thanks, I love all your products and videos.
Hey Jamie, if you're not satisfied with the results then you can polish it out and re apply as necessary.
Great job an I hate when people touch my truck after I just got done derailing it I can't stand That

If your just applying a new coat of wax from about a year ago on my daily driver, is it a good idea to use Wipeout before an annual coat of wax and ceramic spray?
Hi Paul! After the natural degradation of the coating, using Wipe Out is great for ensuring the surface it totally clean before applying a new coat.
How many costs should you apply to reach the full five year expectancy?
Hi there! Add two coats for the most protection.
What's the cure time on the carbon Force coating?
Hey! Allow coating to dry for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Very good video! I hadn't thought of applying it to headlights as well.
Very good products!
Glad you liked it!!
You can polish the headlights too. I recommend polishing the headlight and glass and added a ceramic coat. Windshield especially
Also my Rav4 has some chips...alot of swirls...scuff marks...a couple of places where the scratches are down to the primer finish. Will this video application be useful?
How do you know when to apply more to the pad? Or you apply each time you are doing the 2x2 portion?
Hey! Carbon Force will spread very thin to cover a large surface area. Reapply as necessary for even coverage.
Hey chemcial guys love your products!! Can I use one applicator sponge for an entire car? Thanks.
Absolutely!!
Cool thanks man!!
Great job Joey!
Glad you enjoyed it!
after you have applied the coating, do you need to apply polish after every wash or does the coating keep it shiny till its time for a reply?
Hey! Carbon Force locks in shine and repels harsh elements for up to 5 years.
After a 2 step paint correction do you need to use the clean slate product before applying ceramic coating?
Hi Payton! Rather than washing the vehicle again, use Wipe Out to remove any residue and prep the surface for ceramic.
@@ChemicalGuys awesome thanks I got some wipe out on the way!

Should you only do a small area at a time or should you do each panel in one shot also how should I wait in between ceramic coats

Hi what maintenance products do i need to maintain d ceramic benefits to last for a long time??
Hey! Maintain your ceramic by using HydroSuds and HydroSpeed.

How much comes in the bottle? Enough to do a double coating on a full size suv?
Hi there! One bottle of Carbon Force can coat several average size vehicles.
When can I do the second or third layers?
We recommend waiting for the previous layers to cure before layering it with a secondary coat.
@@ChemicalGuys How long is that?
I am looking to Ceramic coating my 4 door F-250 with a long bed. Can I get two coats with just one bottle? I am looking to do painted areas and all the glass.
Hey Mike! Yes, with proper application, one bottle will be able to coat a truck with multiple layers.
With those applicators. Do you buy new ones every time or are they washable or what?
Hey! Every side of the applicator pad can be used for one application before it needs to be replaced.
@@ChemicalGuys i see. Thank you very much!
How often you would apply more ceramic to the applicator ?
Hey! When the pad appears dry of the application is no longer consistent reapply more product.
I have a Dodge Hellcat with a matte finish hood, matte finish top and matte finish deck lid. Can the B36, B38 and carbon force be applied on that type of finish?
Hey Jeffrey! Matte is very sensitive so only use Meticulous Matte Auto Wash and/or Meticulous Matte Spray Sealant to prevent staining.
After polishing can I glaze then do ceramic coat?
Hi Kevin! For best results, apply ceramic to a bare surface and then it can be layered with your favorite glaze, sealant, and/or wax.
How can I purchase your product in all one package the way you use in car..

Washing process ?
Check out the prior video for the wash process. 😁👍
Question: if you use wipe out spray is clay bar need it before polishing ?
