When Thiagaraja Swami asked Sri Gopalakrishna Bharathi if he had composed any song in ābhōgi rāgam, Sri Gopalakrishna Bharathi is said to have composed on the spot the song "Sabāpathiki vēRu dheyvam" in that rāgā
