  • This video is DAY 4 of a 7 day WORKOUT SERIES! Follow me every day for a 30 minute different workout. Today's workout is a LEG AND CORE WORKOUT. This workout is designed to help with improving your strength and tone in your core and lower body. They are for all ages, levels, and sizes, but designed for the active senior.     This was challenging for me because I struggle with poor balance. I have also had spinal fusion and had both hips replaced. Lots of these moves required tweaks to make them safe for me, but I did it. In addition, my husband has joined me for the first four workouts. Thank you, Jenny.

    Day 4 done in the UK - and I am really enjoying this sequence of quite challenging workouts and very much appreciate the thought and planning this must have taken. Have been working with you for 3 years and at 71 yrs I feel so much fitter and more supple. Thank you Jenny.

    Doing the whole series for the second time with 10 days in between (very busy!). Really enjoying this mixture of exercises for all parts of the body. Thank you Jenny. I can feel a big difference since I started doing (from time to time) your various classes since 2021. Have been doing some of your low impact aerobics, lower leg exercises, power walking, whole body workout etc. I feel much better.

    Day four done! Made me realize how much I need to work in my balance. It is crazy how we can start to lose our balance as we age.

    Thanks Jenny. Day 4 is history! Enjoyed the Core exercises especially. Glad not getting on the floor. Quad stretch reminded me of my running days, That stretch felt so good. I can do left leg standing but need the chair for right leg. Like your options. Looking forward to Day 5.

    My legs were sore Wednesday so only accomplished 15 mins. Today, I took it a little slow but enjoyed your exercises & finished it today! You are a terrific motivator!😍

    Almost 10am in the uk and I’ve done it. I found this one more challenging but then I thrive on being challenged. So good 😊

    I LOVED this video! The curtsy squats were new to me but WOW were they a killer at first. Now, having done the video multiple times, I can do them with weights!

    Extremely busy day. Just got home and did it. Great workout. I usually workout in The mornings so took some grit to do it this late. Glad I did it. Love a challenge like

    Great leg/core workout
    Was sweating a lot and Hearst’s up to 140 doing thr squats behind legs
    But I finished all the reps -thanks again jenny

    I’m really enjoying this series, doing them again. I love your explanations of the muscles and how the exercises work, like the crunches and quad stretches. I have noticed, though, on some exercises in your series, you don’t give modifications until we’ll into the second set. You can see it here in the curtsy lunges. As someone who is balance challenged, knowing I could sub in squats would have been helpful earlier.

    Do you have videos to encourage senior men? My husband commented that some of the exercises are physically impossible for the male anatomy!

    Hi Jenny: Lovely workout. I am a 65 year old active senior, but due to severe arthritis in my knees, my doctor has advised against squats and lunges, which hurt immensely. Do you have any lower body workouts on your website with no squats and lunges. I would like to join your online membership. Thank you.

    I am just getting around to doing this set of videos. Great so far. I do have a question. I am 72 yrs old (I have run 1/2 half marathons) and in reasonably good physical shape (but not super flexible). I recently got diagnosed with osteoporosis in my spine. Everything was good and easy in the series until this video since I have been told I shouldn’t “hunch” my upper back when doing exercises and this video had me doing that. Is there a modification for the Ab exercises so I am still using my abs without bending/hunching my back? I tried holding my back mostly straight and tightening my abs when bending down. Any suggestions? Thanks. I love this series that you have done.

    I've been following this for a few weeks, Jenny! Thank you! Very good exercise, if only my blance were better! At times the help of a table (I'm over 80 yrs.old & don't want to fall!) I've "registered quite a few times, so how often should it be done?

    I’m concerned
    The twisting with the plia movement
    I don’t think that twisting is good for osteoporosis
    Please let us know Jenny
    I love this series but that movement looked risky for people that may have bone issues
    And there are seniors that follow you
