At around 14:55 he detaches the character from the camera in order to see the first person arms. That can be done by pressing the F8 key when using version 5.3.2. I can't speak for how other versions may work.
Make 2.5D game, but I think I will find interesting knowledge and ideas here for my game, I can’t wait to start.

i had an idea, if proj is silent and other enemy sees other enemy die then theyll investigate and if an arrow was used ai will remember which direction dead enemy was standing before death then look in the direction arrow is sticking out of body ;)

do you guys have a video on how to make a realistic bodycam like unrecorded where you can make the gun and everything like the unrecorded trailer if not can you guys make one one day?
I'm about to start this tutorial, but I just wanted to find out if it's possible to use this as a third person game? If so, are there a lot of changes to make for it to be used as a third person game or will it be as easy as just selecting the "Third Person" content to add to the project instead of the "First Person" content?
Mainly, the camera will require you to do some tweaking around.
hey, it is not my first try to make an UE game . Single game are not the problem ,the problem come on multiplayer games when you use only blueprints. i don`t know if you plan to make a single or a multiplayer game. i want a multiplayer tutorial and one that show me how to solve multiplayer replication lag problems. when i try to google this problem if found only one answert : it is not possible to make a working UE multiplayer game only on blueprints.

This could have been more intersting , suggest to invest some time in going indepth things such as MetaSOunds , Metahumans with optimizations such as Skeletal merging , Modular characters , how to spawn 100s of enemies in horde without losing performance , how to Async load Big assets and make loading screens , utilize AI with Mass AI plugins and Behavour trees for core AI enemies , Enviourment desing using PCG and unreal specfic tools for procedural or dynamic Levels , along with physics destructions

there are more deeper explanation for things you can look it up, in this course its 24 hours of FREE CONTENT, you cant expect them to explain everything in more detail, this is already long and good
Hi, @1.41m while I select the skeleton and give create linked animation sequence, my file is getting hang and it's not exporting and I tried this too many times but again getting stuck at that particular spot,,,can anyone give me the solution pls😕
I realize this is a complicated topic, but this video is frustrating to follow when you are explaining things and then find out that you made a mistake several steps back in the workflow so you have to start fixing things up mid-stream. A specific case is around 6:30:00 where you realize that you can't share code for the Send Right Attach between the main character and the enemy character so you have to create a new function Send Enemy Attack and start shifting logic around. I am following the video and making my own copy of what you are doing. With all the flipping around between different objects in the space of a couple minutes in the video, I got lost and ended up with broken main character attack animations. I managed to figure out what I broke, but the repeated instances of this are frustrating. Some of the rambling and fumbling around when you are trying to figure out how to string together two animations a few minutes later, only to find out that blueprints don't provide a way to get animation length is just more frustration.
Hi, I'm having trouble adding the Sword Attack. When I open the Sword Attack -> Show I unable to get the Animation Rig to appear. Any ideas, please
If I open the Sword Attack outside of the LS_MainCharacterAnims the Rig appears

I think the problem was that I didn't overlap the two sequences. When I did this I managed to do the attack sequence.

I wish UA-cam stop showing stupid ads all over tutorial videos. Indie Devs don't have time to watch all UA-cam ads . They have few sleep at work. They keep missing game deadlines.
I know they are annoying but those ads support all the free content we put up online, so just remember that you watching them helps us a lot.
There literally 30 seconds and if it's really that bad then just get UA-cam premium, them you can download videos to watch while offline, get yt music and it's not even that much

You want something for nothing. That kind of entitlement is unbecoming of an indi developer.

This is the typical UA-cam training. A tutor who did not prepare a minimal logic or script to follow. This is very noticeable in this specific person who has to stop talking alll the time, mutters, making mistakes etc. There is not a clear metal line to follow. After 1 hour or so you realize that you are not going to learn anything. I was seriously thinking about enrolling their 450$ course, but now I will not. A good tutor is the one who organizes his lectures so that the students absorb the information easily. Improve!!
Like when he added a input action mapping on the begin overlap and then removed it when you end overlap...Why would you do that? unnecessary casting....just bad advice.
This is free - 11+ hours of content. An incredible value. I had no issues following it. Don't expect 100% polished delivery on free content. Thank you UNF Games for providing this to the community.
