Good Job Josh! I added your link to my post for belt inspection. I like the fact that you point out SAFETY!
Awesome, safety first!
Do you recommend loctite for the auger bolt?
Hey Josh, is there a trust washer that is slid on the shaft and then secured with the bolt ??
He there have the 621e and cannot kill with switch? Have to pull choke out, any ideas, is like to fix myself machine is running great.
Russo Power Equipment thanks alot for reply, I will replace switch and try.
I haven't opened it up yet, but is this essentially the same as the craftsman thrower from sears (rip) that looks, quite honestly, exactly the same?
I think it's something like a 21", same colours abd everything
Almost all are briggs & Stratton motors these days.
Good video--I see some wite threads on my paddles..Toro 3600 -.guess its time...but bigger issue is a screeching sound as I try to plow. I have to back up and try again...but it does not pick up much and only screeches. Any idea?
LuvMyTown.com I believe your belt is slipping due to lack of tension. Tighten the cable up about 2 noches.
Thank you--yes, that was the problem
Thank you--got it fixed a few weeks ago...
What’s the belt number I’m trying to find the part number and size and get a belt
Hey Russo - how can I see if the belt is too big and need change? How loose is too loose? thx

You didn't need to remove the large pulley. Once you released the tension there is enough room to roll it off the large pulley. Replacing it is just as easy. Put it on the small pulley first and roll it around the larger one till it's fully on.
My Toro 721 E doesn’t have the clearance to take the belt off without taking of the drive gear…
@@ABSOLUThc or the 721 R.
Says I got the right belt but can’t thread it, way too tight
You forgot to reinstall the retaining bolt on the drive pulley!

@@chrisschray8047 @ 1:17 upper right driveshaft pulley does not have its retaining bolt installed. It was not reinstalled before he reinstalled the outer cover.
@@brianwaskow5910 Yes he did. He even mentioned it was an 11mm bolt.
@@ralphfraumeni6190 Ok Ralph I will over this one more time. Pause the vid at 1:16, he is pointing to the Engine Crankshaft Pulley which is the "Drive Pulley" Do you see a bolt holding the pulley to the crankshaft?
@@brianwaskow5910 OK. He called the plastic pulley the auger DRIVE pulley and the pulley that you initially called the drive pulley, the crankshaft pulley. Just a miscommunication. It's quite odd that the crankshaft pulley bolt is missing. Maybe this machine was going to need other work.
