  • Demonstration of the Toro Power Clear 821 QZE single-stage snow thrower performance in 3" heavy wet saturated snow. I wish I had more snow to demonstrate this blower with. We have missed out the last few years on a big-time storm here in Chicago's northwest suburbs.
The blower has not missed a beat and has never given me issues in any snow or with a plow pile with out dying out or what have you.

This is what I need. Small walkway. Small driveway. I have a huge 2 cycle that’s a hassle to get out/start. I need this.

Toro always makes a great product I went from 2 stage 26” 205cc engine way under powered for a 2 stage was a Briggs motor on my old unit to this 252cc monster it eats wet heavy snow you won’t be disappointed I will link where you can get it.

The snow has been in very short supply this year here in Chicago and I have seen very much so out east where you are in NJ. It's been very warm, to say the least. I upgraded from a 2-stage 205cc motor to this single-stage unit and I have never had any issues with the QZE the RC is the commercial grade one which is also a beast this motor seems to do well in the snow no matter how deep. I would like to get 8 to 12" of snow to put the blower through its paces. I will be interested to see how long this blower makes it.

Now if we could figure out how to get the snow to stop sticking to those plastic wheels, that would be a win .... I've tried wd40, Pam spray, silicone spray, penetrating oil , dry lube .... NOTHING WORKS !
It is a great machine, but my old single stage 2 Cycle CCR2000 can blow it away ....
Smells a bit, but has Torque out the Wazoo ....!!!

They need to bring back the old toro wheels from the 80s and 90s that were those hard rubber ones from toro power lite ccr 2450 and ccr 3650 with the 2 stroke units with Tecumseh power plants 2 strokes have just that extra oomph

I have a Toro GTS 3000 that I bought new in ‘97. I’ve been wanting a new one. After seeing my neighbor with his brand new Toro, I’ve decided to keep what I have. She stinks but she can move snow like no other.

      Tried it ... didn't work !
But this year in the fall I coated them with a rubber undercoating spray from Bondo ....
So far .... no sticking! 😁
