I want to thank your son too for all his help, he’s a fine young man, I thought he needed to hear that!!!!
I will tell him thank you!
This was extremely helpful! Thank you! For years nobody properly explained HOW to change and measure the oil in toro snowblowers! I was measuring it standing up,which is clearly wrong! The instructions were useless! The seller useless! This video finally revealed how much oil to add and how to measure it.thank you so much!!!! Great useful video at least for me.
Thank you for the feedback, its nice to know that some of the videos help people! Thanks for watching!
Great informative video; I recently purchased a toro 721e and you showed me a lot of helping tips with this video!
Thank you, that is a great machine!

Yes I do!
I want to say thank you guys to you and your son I have the same one and I overfilled the oil and almost blew the motor well I had to take it to the shop they have no instruction how to check the oil in it when I would open it up it would just pour out but thank you so much for that. That was really helpful that video
Well thank you! We are glad that the video was able to help you out!

Good, helpful video. Cute little fella, too. Enjoy them while they're young / small, because it all happens too fast. My son turns 40 next month.

Great video. Props for doing it with lil man too. Going to be a solid citizen in the future no doubt. Dirty hands, clean conscience. My kind of voter. Cheers yall
Thank you, I try to include the kids when they are interested in the projects. Thank you for watching!
At the end of this season, I think I'll be shopping for a Toro single-stage. They seem to be about as good as anything else available, all things considered.
I can't say anything about other brands, I have only ran toro's for the single stage units and I like them.
Very good video! I have the same model and I learned today that there is a second oil drain plug in the front of the engine identical to the plug near the drain plug. Mine had loosened up over time and was leaking. Thought I would share in case you did not know about it.
Thank you for watching, I will have to make sure I check that when I pull it out for the season. Thank you for the tip!
The Toro dealer said to never over fill the oil. You are only supposed to use 20 ounces. You don’t screw in the dip stick to check the oil, the oil should never be all the way to the top of the threads.
Smart kid
Yes he is!
5:46 Checks the wheel for proper balance 😊
Of course! That is super important haha!
Did you notice that your videos with the snowblower in it have received the highest amount of views? I’m surprised you don’t have the snowblower making RECTANGLE s’mores. Snowblower sealing concrete episode 😊😊.
I have noticed that, not sure why but I'm not complaining!
Good video Daddy!
Thank you for watching!
After you get the gas out, run true fuel for a few minutes, no need to drain the bowl, true fuel has no ethanol, that's what kills our small motors.
True, I just do it because it only takes a minute.
great tips! Thanks. What is the exact model number for the socket and rachet for the spark plug? Had a hard time to get hold of the spark plug.
I just used a 13/16 deep well socket on a half inch drive ratchet and it works great! Thanks for watching!
thanks!
Good video, but you should of shown how to check the paddles and scraper!!
How to get the spark plug cover out? It looks stuck or there is a trick?
This video is excellent!!!!
I am going to assume you are talking about the sparkplug boot that goes over the sparkplug. You just pull it straight off, it's on there good so you will need to give it a decent tug. Thanks for watching!
Cannot get the oil drain plug off is it lefty loose?? Also the spark plug off don't know the size. Won't start ran out gas but didn't drain the carb bowl
Yes turning the drain bolt to the left (counterclockwise) will loosen the drain bolt. I'm not sure what the other question is. But if you run the machine out of gas it isn't necessary to drain the carburetor bowl, but I feel like it is the best way to make sure all the gas is out of the machine. Hopefully that answers a few of your questions. Thanks for watching!
Mine started knocking is it 2 late for Oil change or will the oil change help? it's 4 years old and I didn't change the oil. (it's my first snow blower)
I would change the oil in it first, since that is cheaper then a new unit. It might help prolong the life, but it could be past the point of no return. Good luck!
☃☃☃☃☃ 5 out of 5
Thank you!
Do you check the oil on that position (with the snow blower on it's "head") or with the snow blower down on its normal position?
Check it when it is down in the normal position.
@@amidwestfamily112 Thank you!!
I did it! I managed to change the oil after watching your video. Thank you for your help! Keep up the good work!
When I drain the gas I use a small pipe and I start it until it turns off
I drain and run all my equipment at the end of the season until they die so everything is out and ready to go for the next season.
Quick question how heavy is that snow blower?
My model weighs about 90 pounds, gased and ready to go.
I have a question I have at home engine oil 10w 30 synthetic can I use that instead of 5w 30 ?
I'm sure it would be okay, do you have your owners manual?
@@amidwestfamily112 yes I did look at the manual it says 5w30 anyways I went out and got the same oil you used. Started up already getting ready for this big storm coming lol thanks for getting back.
I am looking at ur another video right now regarding window I might do that my daughter room is cold always rest of the house is fine
@@foodchampion8062 good luck with your storm! I did several windows with that plastic, it is a pain to do but I think it helps.
On all the model toro's the oil level is to the top thread i have the 821 that stupid dipstick so hard to read
It is a pain to read, thank you for watching!
@A Midwest Family mine takes 24 0z so id be ok filling to top thread that seems to be the rule on all the other you tubes thanx
@@wayne1362 I got that from the owners manual. Thank you for watching!
Uhhhh uhhhuhhhhh he said "Unit" huuuhhhuhhhhhhhuhhhhh......😆
Haha yes the go to saying 🤣
