- No Protein Powder PROTEIN BARS! if you are someone who doesn't like the taste or texture of protein powder.. this is for you! These are 20g chocolate peanut butter protein bars! No Bake, easy recipe!
Recipe:
2 cups crispy rice cereal
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1 cup smooth peanut butter
2 tbsps maple syrup
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix together peanut butter and maple syrup.
Add your dry ingredients together (Rice crispies and Hemp seeds) and mix in your maple syrup/peanut butter mixture.
Press down in a lined baking pan and set aside while you melt the chocolate.
Melt your chocolate and 1-2 tbsp of peanut butter for 30second intervals. Pour on top of your base and place in the fridge for 3 hours.
Cut into bars and ENJOY!

Hi ! What Can i use to replace the penut butter please ?
i was thinking the same thing because my daughter is allergic to nuts, i don't like to use it on any cooking utensils - i heard wowbutter and other nut or seed butters might be good alternatives, but do they have good protein!?
Would be good made with p.b. powder and s.f. syrup, sf chocolate chips

I doubt it's each. PB has only 8g per 2 tbsp and the rest of the ingredients are low protein. These are not protein bars. They're no bake chocolate PB bars!
I agree. Even if I swap the rice crispy for crispy quinoa (which has more protein) ended up being 5gr protein per square.
This looks delicious but still not healthy or macro friendly. This doesn’t contain enough protein. Maybe if you use the powdered peanut butter with water rather than maple syrup you could up the protein a bit more and reduce fat.
Yes that's what I was saying. Not enough protein and wayyy too many carbohydrates (at least for me type one diabetic). I would emit the hemp stuff and use 2 or 3 scoops of my protein powder (low carb) and add chia seeds with low carb chocolate on top. And it could easily have like 5-10 carbs per slice!!
