Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for this video! I was stuck buying protein bars but hating the taste/texture of protein shakes. Great fix.
Glad it was helpful! You can definitely still taste the protein powder in these, but if you use a protein powder that you generally like I think you'll still like these!
Seems so yummy!! Gonna try it and be back soon
Hope you enjoy
This is the best video I've seen on youtube so far short, simple and little ingredients and it looks so delicious the only thing its missing the macros for this recipe.
They are in the blog post with the recipe :)
@@HungryHobby Oh yeah I see is the macros for each bar or is it for the whole thing?
They look awesome - just bought my ingredients 👍
Hope you enjoy
I made this recipe and its absolutely delicious. These are more like protein brownies than protein bars which is ok with me. Im definitely going to keep on making these!
Sounds great! I'm so glad you liked it!
Oh gosh I'm happy I found you...I'm struggling to get in my protein!!! Especially snack wise....
Enoy! We LOVE these bars!

You’re welcome 😊
It’s ok to use pea protein? Thanks 😊
I haven't tried it but I think it woudl be okay! Likely would make the texture more fudgy
Could you please list the ingredients, with how many grams each? Thank you !!!!
just click the link in the description! I don't have conversions to grams though, I use US metric. Sorry!
@@HungryHobby thank uuu!!!!
What do you suggest I use instead of peanut butter? Real butter or coconut butter? I have peanuts allergies..
I would use almond butter or cashew butter!
@@HungryHobby I'm allergic to those as well! :D LOL
@@LeagueofDravenn I wondered if you were allergic to tree nuts since you only mentioned real butter or coconut butter. I would try sunflower seed butter!
@@HungryHobby I'll check it out, Thanks!
What temperature to bake it
it's listed in the blog post!
How much can I have of this after work out?
As much as you want!
Bake them at how many degrees?
350
Can we freeze them instead of baking
No, for this recipe you have to bake them! Great question though!
can you tell me the amount of ingredients you put?

@@HungryHobby you are the best! Tuned in notifications so i won’t miss a recipe 🌹🌹❤️❤️
How do I get the recipe?????
Just click the link that says full recipe!
I looked at the recipe -- is the calorie count per serving or the entire things?
Per serving :)
How many calories in each bar
around 300
20g of protein each piece?
About 16g
Protein is the easiest macros to hit. I never understood how ppl can’t get enough. I think it’s because they weigh their meat cooked and are underestimating their pepper intake by at least 30%
could be! In working with so many clients, I feel like it's all in how they were raised and what types of foods they gravitate toward. Carb based meals and snacks make it hard to hit protein goals!
These have to be tasty for sure... but it seems there is more carbs and fat than actual protein in this protein bar. Probably a good snack overall, not just to up your protein intake.
Enjoy!
The recipe seems interesting, but my god is the audio balance completely off the rails. Barely could hear a word she said over the loud music
thanks for the feedback, I really started filming more last fall and have learned a lot since posting this video. Thanks again.
@@HungryHobby Hey, we all start somewhere! And as I said before, the recipe looks real tasty! Imma defo have to try it sometime
Why this video only has 669 views??? so profesionel made. Like i did a wierd squat video and 0 editing and stuff 20.000 views. UA-cam makes no sence...
lol congrats on your squat video success!
@@HungryHobby haha thx IT makes No sence😂

thanks!
I wouldn’t say there exactly healthy
Calories: 313kcal | Carbohydrates: 27g | Protein: 16g | Fat: 18g | Saturated Fat: 6g |
High calories
High Fat (more than protein)
Protein low
Interesting you think that! Different things work for different people, I personally ate these while losing 40lbs after my son was born. Where did you get your nutrition degree?
Hungry Hobby no degree needed is simple maths. Calories in Calories out.
You could eat only chocolate and lose weight.
These are high in Calories and fat.
I fact there’s more fat than protein in these bars.
Yes you could eat 5 of these only and lose weight no question.
But would you be healthy eating 5 of these ?
It’s people with so called degrees that are simply scamming the people that are weak willed and desperate for a magic pill to do all the work.
Calories in Calories out it’s that easy
Not sure why you need. Degree to make a protein bar to be honest.
Enjoy your protein bars.
@@handoromper7987 First of all, if calories in and calories out were the only thing that mattered then the weight loss industry wouldn't be a billion-dollar-plus industry. True they do matter, but it isn't the whole story. This recipe is FULL of healthy WHOLE food ingredients plus a little bit of protein powder. I wouldn't suggest eating them all day every day, but they certainly are a healthier and cost-effective alternative to many store-bought protein bars with fake ingredients. 323 of 1500 calories (appropriate for weight loss for many women) is only 21% of someone's day so not a high-calorie food. It's true that there is more fat than protein in these bars, but that's not a bad thing. Fat is filling and the fat the is in these bars is from a plant-based healthy source (peanut butter) which supports hormone production, heart health, and more. There is still a decent amount of protein in them, especially for those people who struggle to get enough protein in. I've worked with thousands of people to help them lose weight and hold a Master's Degree in nutrition and I believe these are a healthy snack or breakfast options. But, you are of course welcome to disagree.
@@handoromper7987 I agree. They are way too high in calories and fat. Greg Doucette’s receipe is better if you are counting calories.
I agree, wouldn't eat them to diet, but as someone who struggles with calories intake, i will try them for bulking :)

Lmao the men in these comments, your recipe sounds delicious I LOVE peanut butter so this is perfect🥰🥰
ENJOY!
Why you assume it’s men?
@@itsfern8344 I’m not assuming they literally are men or at least misogynistic af
Meowwwwww😂🐈
it's really yummy!
Taste good but we’re very dry. More like a very dry brownie.
Yes! This recipe is a bit dryer than normal, I wanted it to be a portable protein bar. My sweet potato brownies recipe is a bit more moist though - hungryhobby.net/vegan-fudgy-chocolate-protein-brownies/
Girl the music is fucking loud wtfff
Just saw this! Yes this is one of my earlier videos where I was still kind of learning the balance ha ha thanks for letting me know though!
Nutrition facts? How many grams per ingredient? You just threw random amounts of ingredients into the food processor and called it a day
the informatino you are looking for can be found here: hungryhobby.net/homemade-peanut-butter-chocolate-protein-bars/
Nice receipe but you talk way too much. Please go straight to the point next time.
glad you liked the recipe!
Wow all those useless calories in peanut butter. Use pb2
Useless????? Peanut butter is full of healthy fats that help keep you full and support your hormone health, among a million other functions in the body. While I do use PB2 from time to time, I also use regular peanut butter all the time as well. It's so important to have a diet with at least 30% healthy fats and healthy fats are far from useless calories. But, what do I know? I just have a Master's Degree in Nutrition and five years specializing in weight loss and hormone balance.
@@HungryHobby you’ll be hearing from my coach soon. HARDER THEN LAST TIME.

@@poormofo1 I’m sure your coach will be super proud of you trolling someone else’s video 🙄
Gross. Not the bars but letting litter box cat paws tread on your kitchen counters.
Bars look good though.
Fair, but what you didn't see was the part I cut out. Bleaching the counters, squirting the cat with water to keep her off after jumping up seven times and subsequently cleaning, etc.... But, thanks for your observation.

Video should be titled “How to gain FAT - High calorie peanut butter brownie recipe”
I hardly call the macros: Calories: 313kcal | Carbohydrates: 27g | Protein: 16g | Fat: 18g per bar (the fat equal to two tablespoons of peanut butter per serving) something that would cause you to gain weight. Maybe if you ate the whole batch in one sitting. Fat is filling and research shows the healthy fat in your diet helps with satiety and weight loss. So, as a Dietitian I disagree. But, luckily you don't have to eat it if you don't want to!
@@HungryHobby Fat is absolutely not filling. And yes, this is a very high calorie bar, not very good for weight loss, I could definitely eat 1000 cals worth of those in one sitting without feeling too satiated.
@@PygmaApril Hmm interesting, maybe it's genetic. The macros on these bars are Calories: 313kcal | Carbohydrates: 27g | Protein: 16g | Fat: 18g - more carbohydrates than fat and just about the same amount of protein. The amount of fat in these bars per serving is the same as 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. The macros are equivalent or would be like having 3 eggs and two pieces of toast. Like I said I'm a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer specializing in weight loss, I've had several clients say these bars are a super filling breakfast (and we eat them in my house as well.) You know your own body though, not every recipe is for everyone! But I do believe that for most people these would work in a diet geared at weight loss, and certainly wouldn't cause weight gain. That's my opinion though, everyone is entitled to their own. I just happen to have a Masters Degree in Nutrition and have worked with thousands of clients to help them lose weight.
@@HungryHobby well, aren't 3 eggs and two pieces of toast a lot more satiating than a bar? Honestly , I believe it is a stretch to even call it protein bars since you know... protein is the lowest macronutrient here. Id substitute the PB and banana with Vitafiber and PB2. A lot less calories , a lot more fiber , and more protein.
Just sub the one cup of peanutbutter with peanutbutter powder. You cut the fat out and you cut calories. Just add a little bit of calorie free sweetener to bring out the taste
