I agree with most of what you said. Me having C.P. the one thing that is the most annoying is that nobody wants to actually learn about what C.P, is and how it actually affects a person. It is like nobody wants to be educated about it. It is something with C.P. we will have to live with it.
This is an old video, so you may not check this anymore, but I just wanted to encourage you to keep the hope!
I also wonder if you've ever considered online dating? I met my husband that way, and we were engaged before we met in person. It was kind of scary meeting for the first time (at the airport, of course!), but we already had the emotional connection and had seen pictures of one another. We met, he bought a ring, and we married 3 months later. Now we're eight years, and four children later.
Just a suggestion, maybe pray about it :)
Dating with cp is definitely hard honestly,I'm 21 and had a baby with a guy I was with for 3 years, but a lot of guys before him and after just act funny, sometimes its hard to deal with but its ppl out there that don't care so keep your head up!
First of all I would like to say that you are truly an inspiration. I too have cerebral palsy, and I feel as though that you have the same view on life as I do. Never give up on things that you do, if people cannot love you for who you are they are not worth it. You are a beautiful person inside and out, never let it stop you.

Jake, you will have heartbreaks,but don't give up. I am going that I meet a man and he loved me for me. He never saw my cp. We got married and had four children. We were married for 39years until he passed away. I think their is someone for everyone.
Hey, Jake. Always great to hear what you have to say. Appreciate your honesty. Thanks for the shout out and the link to CJ's channel. About dating and all that - I have found that finding someone who is mature and confident enough to handle the CP issue is tough, but definitely doable. Sometimes I think I make my CP a bigger deal than the woman I am with. Its an issue, for sure - but not as big of one as my mind makes it out to be. Just my experience, dude. Have fun in school! It will be easier when your older. People out grow childish ways and they learn that everyone has issues with something. I started late (because I didn't come out til late in life), but when I did. I went out with people who overlooked the way I walked and saw the person behind the limp - they are out there. - Bob
I was wondering how old you were before you started walking and talking independently? My 2 year old son has CP and isn’t walking or talking yet but is verbal and coming along very well with Therapy and early intervention in general. Your page gives me amazing guidance and hope when I think about my sons future. God bless you’re amazing and strong you’re still young and you’ll find the right girl for you!

Hi jake. I can't relay to you my relief upon viewing your videos. My son joshua is going through the process of getting diagnosed but he most likely has hemiparesis and mild spastic cp. He is 15 months old. I have had this vision that someone with cp was completely abnormal, etc. Just hearing you speak gives me hope. I have mild spastic cerebral palsy to I have alway been able to walk I did really date in high school but in a lot of things like student government and the pep club and in the pep squad in the cons

when i said i cant use both my hands i meant i can only use one arm.jake can you use both arms or is your cerebal palsy just in your legs
i also feel like theres more services for mental health and addiction than there is for physically handicapped people
i am asian and i have mild cp. in this part of the world girls complain a lot. i am 35 now and i still cant find my other half

so my son has mild CP and nobody really notices until I tell them he just has a slight limp I love your videos and I don't think it will affect his love life. You're cute I don't think it's the CP I think you just weren't compatible.

Sorry I know this is a way late comment for this video but for you being a guy I don't think that's a CP thing on the pitty because a lot of my guy friends with out CP feel the same way that you do I have CP and I like guys who have disabilities an none disabilities and they tell me the same thing that I should have said it like hey I like you were should give it a shout but yeah that's what I was I was just trying to say it's just a guy thing not because of the CP thing lol
