  • A quick showcase of the upgrades and modifications I've made to CRUZJER (1999 Toyota Land Cruiser) that is probably the rarest and most unique 100 Series Land Cruiser in the US.
I show how I installed: an awning to the factory rook rack including custom fabricated plates, a rear cargo drawer without the normal mounting locations, and a dual battery and charger (including custom mount). I'll also review my tire and suspension setup.
    Awning hardware:

Good content. Having a hard time believing you have only 617 subs at the moment. I’m thinking the channel will grow nicely if you keep adding videos.

Great video. You a great job wiring in you freezer. Sometimes the best ideas are ones that find that others have done or talked about doing. But the real and only thing is to use it and see what you liked or dislike. Also doing the camping ⛺️ and overland. Also if you sell it you can make more from your upgrades.

Thanks for watching! I definitely feel like I got a good wire run in on the fridge. Fridge has been very helpful already - well worth the used price!

The Land Cruiser Project remember that your project doesn’t make or break you. Just use it and enjoy awesome build. Plus in my book it’s a major upgrade. And to it’s a Toyota and should be good.

255/85 16 or 285/75 16 tires? Thanks for sharing your video. Nice work

Mine are 285/75r16. There is a little info out there on the "skinny 33s" but nothing conclusive. I want to go with those when I find some used ones.

I didn’t know there was an option for a 100 series with no 3rd row seats.

There's a few like mine here in the US - I'm aware of at least two others.
Overseas, I'm thinking they are much more prevalent in a GX or GXL trim.
Basically it's the 100 series Heritage Edition!

There are even cloth seats 100 series in the US. Extremely rare.

Where did you get your front mud flaps?

      Here's a good resource: forum.ih8mud.com/threads/oem-front-mudflaps-w-part-numbers.698687/
I purchased mine from ToyotaPartsDeal. $36 each

Does ur AC leak? I couldn’t find the leak, it’s not leaking at the common area by the passenger footwell

Prior to my purchase, it had leaked at the evaporator behind the glove box and that had been replaced (evidenced by a cut in the bottom plastic glove box support. My A/C issues from last spring were the result of a compressor issue.

The Land Cruiser Project thanks! That’s gonna be a pretty decent job, I think it’s going to involve taking apart of the dash, may be it’s easier to refill the refrigerant every mo, keep posting those great videos!

Check on UA-cam for videos or ih8mud for a write-up on the evaporator swap without full dash removal. The guide already exists and can save you quite a bit of effort.
      Thanks for the support!
