Nicely done! The first drawer system I made for my 80 series was similar and I kept updating it. One of the things I did like you did was to cut a lot of the wood out to reduce weight because it was a heavy beast. Eventually I just scrapped it all and made a frame out of 3/4 light guage square steel tubing and I think the whole frame only weighs like 35 pounds. I usually travel alone so I even took out my rear seats and man, does that open up a lot of space. I camp inside the Land Cruiser so I have a sleep platform in there as well. Yours looks great.

Nice! Yeah this puppy is heavy! The rubber and slides add a lot of weight. I think all in its around 200lbs. But I also removed the third row to do it so there’s some savings there. When I put a rear bumper on I might have to get heavier duty springs!

This looks amazing. It looks like you cut the weight reliefs out using a squirrel though lol. Awesome finish at the end.

Nice job! Will you share the prints of the drawer? 😂 or the measurements of the frame please? Thanks a lot

I don’t have any prints but will definitely make some if I ever rebuild this thing. There are a few measurement mentioned in the video.

That looks awesome!... Very clean and great useof space.... How thick is the plywood that you used? Thanks for the narration on how you measured things and your thinking behind your build, it was very helpful😁

Hey! Thanks! I used 3/4 plywood on the frame, top, and front and 1/2 inch for the drawers and back. I would definitely use 1/2 on the drawers again they are solid!

Nice build man. I was asked to do this on a 2000 land cruiser for my buddy and would love to use your design. Do you have plans that I can buy?
