The results they are looking for aren't exactly to 'get jacked'. Eventually, that may be the case. I may come back to this video the fitness Crocodile Dundee laughing, "This isn't an arm work out, THIS is an arm work." While I flex my oversized biceps pointing toward a video of myself doing a bicep curl with a car full of clowns.... but I'm not there yet. And I felt this work out in my arms (especially as it was combined with a number of Cassey's other videos). Your comments may not be coming from a negative space, but they certainly are not positive or helpful. Especially to a community that is often made of those already self conscious of themselves... hence why they come here, rather than the gym. To avoid being judged for our weaknesses. So thank you for your advice, if that's what it is, but I will not be taking it.

I understand that, but if you're gonna do an exercise there must be a reason or a goal behind it, and I'm questioning what results anyone could get from this routine, especially for their arms considering most of these exercises are targeting shoulders and upper trapezius. Sure, you're stimulating some muscle by moving, and burn a few extra calories due to the movement, maybe will even help with mobility a bit, but that's about it physically speaking, there's no fat-burning or muscle growth involved, the burn you feel is just lactic acid buildup. A whole routine you can do sitting down isn't all that impressive either. To each their own though, if people enjoy doing it then more to them, doing something is better than doing nothing at all, I just know there are much more effective ways of achieving your goal. If your goal is weight loss for example, don't do this, just go for a walk, you'll burn more calories and that will get you closer to your goal. I'm not coming from a negative space, it just pains me to see a woman with so many subscribers not know the difference between a shoulder workout and an arm workout, or mistaking the biceps for triceps (minute 1:20), or not telling her audience what this "arm" workout is beneficial for and for whom.

I have chronic wrist tendonitis and I was searching for ways to strengthen my arms without having any pressure on my wrist, and I was glad I found your video, I could do all of them, even though I had to include two small breaks! I will look around on your channel to find more exercises!
Same here! I have TFCC so weights are not an option for me (unless I want to increase the tear in my wrist tendon). These workouts are wonderful for us. They’re also quite challenging. There’s another weightless arm workout on Cassie’s channel. It’s very challenging too.
I also suffer from wrist tendonitis and I am struggling to find arm workouts without hurting my wrist or making my condition worst. Maybe I would give this a try
I have wrist and hand problems too, and I agree. I love this workout! The other one that I've been doing that's a challenge is DanceBody Arms with Katja. She's a little more tightly wound than Cassie, but it's a good arm workout (and can also be done seated without weights).

Why is there an overwhelming number of people calling this workout useless or weak??? Just don’t do it if it’s not intense enough for you, no need to put down other people’s tolerance levels.
This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm a beginner to working out and I don't have any equipment and this was perfect and easy to follow and I still felt the burn!

I'm doing this for 2 weeks now and I can tell my arms are getting thinner. I will continue doing this along with my other workout routine. Prayer pulse is super intense, I can feel my arm muscles burning! 🔥
Women lift weights and get criticized for being bulky and "manly", women do body weight exercises and get told they aren't effective and too easy. We really can't win. 🙄

@@rll1236 Maybe not for you.. but for some people these would be a beneficial workout for them, to begin with. There are some people who for them, simply walking is an exercise/workout. Not for everyone. Yes it can tone. Have you ever heard of bodyweight exercises..? You don't need weights, or a gym for muscle gain, toning, weight loss, etc. You're grossly misinformed.
@@Jay-ry1gs I won't disagree that this workout might help morbidly obese folks. I doubt that most people watching are morbidly obese. She never states this so people of all body ranges are following this and wasting their time and that's irresponsible of her. I never said that bodyweight exercises are useless, she didn't do any bodyweight exercises, it was just her flapping her arms for the most part and then lying down for a bit at the end. Bodyweight exercises that she could've used include pushups, dips, pullups etc.(adjusted for beginners) that would've actually resulted in fat loss/muscle gain.
rokitup it’s still stupid how you keep talking about muscle gain as if she ever claimed that you’d gain muscle from this.. but ok. I’m not sure what you’re even doing on this video? I came to this one from 2 of her other videos and they were actually pretty decent cardio workouts for at home while I can’t get in the gym, and I’m not out of shape/obese. This arm one.. not so much but it was a good warmup for my arms regardless and yeah for morbidly obese people or even elderly or more out of shape people it can be beneficial. She didn’t claim it would help build muscle so that’s irrelevant and not really reinforcing any aspect of the point you’re trying to make.
I love how convenient and simple all these moves are! Perfect for a college girl in an apartment to do! No need to buy workout gear like weights. Loved this video!
i know that you are looking for the results, and trust me, it works. I think it is one of the most effective workouts for your arms and im soo happy that i found it!
It's not even an arm workout. Most of it is shoulders, upper traps and chest, biceps and triceps are barely doing anything. Also waving your arms about isn't going to grow muscle, you might feel a bit sore, and burn a few calories, but that's about it. Unless you're over 80 or have some kind of physical impairment that impedes you from moving weight then you have no reason to be doing these exercises. Don't think you can have her body doing what she's doing, I can assure you she doesn't do these exercises in her day to day life.
This is fabulous. I'm 26 weeks 3 days pregnant and admitted to the hospital for my premature water breaking so I can't do any real crazy workouts or go to the gym so this video was PERFECT. I felt the burn just as if I HAD used weights and I'm hoping I'll be strong enough to fight through the pain and continue to do it till it doesn't hurt any more.

Hi I just started working out 1 day ago. I am planning on attending my first national powerlifting meet in 3 months. I have been browsing various deadlifting, benching and squatting tutorials on UA-cam. However, I found those videos to be a complete waste of my time in preparation for my big powerlifting meet. With that being said, your videos took me to the next level within MINUTES. When I first stated working out, my bench was 25lb. After watching this video, my bench is now 495lb. GODDAMMMMMM.
I found you in 2016 during my millionth attempt at losing weight. And you are one of the reasons I lost weight and maintained it for a long time. Until I got pregnant and gained a few pounds and then found you again and lost weight again. Then I had my 3rd child, gaining weight and felt demotivated. Until now I found your workouts again and am now trying to change my lifestyle to a more active and healthy one for my children. Cassie! I just want to thank you for your wonderful happy spirit! I've been working out with you for years but I appreciate you now more than ever! Over the last 8 years I've lost almost 70 lbs. I LOVE working out but unfortunately in 2017 i was diagnosed with a chronic blood clot in my jugular which doesn't allow me to workout lifting any type of weight. I'm not even supposed to pick up my kids in any way. Nothing. So your arm workouts are EXACTLY what I need to be able to continue to be my best self. Thank you so very very much!!!!

My arms need help and felt super good after this workout. Thanks so much Cassie! I will definitely stick with it for a few weeks and see what improvements happen. I am from Alaska, just moved to North Carolina and so I could really relate to your experience (moving from Boston to California)! I do miss the snow and skiing; it's been quite a transition, but after being in Alaska my whole life its wonderful to have all this amazing sunshine and warmth all year. Thanks again for the workout and for providing so many wonderful workouts! My 12 yr. old daughter and I started doing them 2 years ago; she's now 14 and we still love doing all your stretches and split challenges. A real blessing.

Targeted fat loss (or spot reduction) is not a thing, you can't burn fat on specific areas of the body. So doing an arm workout isn't going to burn fat on your arms, just as doing crunches isn't going to burn stomach fat, that's not how the human body works. You lose fat by being in a caloric deficit, in which fat is used as energy due to a lack of calories. You can't "burn" fat. Also, this isn't an arm workout, it's mostly shoulders and upper trapezius, biceps and triceps are barely involved. It won't grow muscle and certainly won't burn fat.

Almost done with today's calendar workout! I'm so glad Casey makes those for us! It's 9 degrees Fahrenheit where I live in Alaska! I've had to adjust to shoveling, icy roads, and darker evenings, but have come to love the beauty of this weather as well. ☺️
i haven't properly worked out in 8 months and gained so much weight in that time but whilst my journey to fitness again is hard, I realised I really did miss doing your workouts. The only place on UA-cam which makes your muscles feel killer burns and tell funny stories whilst doing it.

@@AlexWatson117 to each their own. I've been exercising at home using various different video workouts, and people like Casey are tremendous help and inspiration. You cannot go diminishing her work, go ahead and train different if you want, but I love how I look and love the results her workouts have given me
Yasss! My upper glutes are so large proportionally they look weird on my body but its so hard to find one anywhere. :( fingers crossed Casey does one. Most effective workouts ever ❤

This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm a beginner to working out and I don't have any equipment and this was perfect and easy to follow and I still felt the burn!

She never states this so people of all body ranges are following this and wasting their time and that's irresponsible of her. I never said that bodyweight exercises are useless, she didn't do any bodyweight exercises, it was just her flapping her arms for the most part and then lying down for a bit at the end. Bodyweight exercises that she could've used include pushups, dips, pullups etc.(adjusted for beginners) that would've actually resulted in fat loss/muscle gain.

I came to this one from 2 of her other videos and they were actually pretty decent cardio workouts for at home while I can’t get in the gym, and I’m not out of shape/obese. This arm one.. not so much but it was a good warmup for my arms regardless and yeah for morbidly obese people or even elderly or more out of shape people it can be beneficial. She didn’t claim it would help build muscle so that’s irrelevant and not really reinforcing any aspect of the point you’re trying to make.

It's not even an arm workout. Most of it is shoulders, upper traps and chest, biceps and triceps are barely doing anything. Also waving your arms about isn't going to grow muscle, you might feel a bit sore, and burn a few calories, but that's about it.
Unless you're over 80 or have some kind of physical impairment that impedes you from moving weight then you have no reason to be doing these exercises. Don't think you can have her body doing what she's doing, I can assure you she doesn't do these exercises in her day to day life.
This is fabulous. I'm 26 weeks 3 days pregnant and admitted to the hospital for my premature water breaking so I can't do any real crazy workouts or go to the gym so this video was PERFECT. I felt the burn just as if I HAD used weights and I'm hoping I'll be strong enough to fight through the pain and continue to do it till it doesn't hurt any more.

Hi I just started working out 1 day ago. I am planning on attending my first national powerlifting meet in 3 months. I have been browsing various deadlifting, benching and squatting tutorials on UA-cam. However, I found those videos to be a complete waste of my time in preparation for my big powerlifting meet. With that being said, your videos took me to the next level within MINUTES. When I first stated working out, my bench was 25lb. After watching this video, my bench is now 495lb. GODDAMMMMMM.

I LOVE working out but unfortunately in 2017 i was diagnosed with a chronic blood clot in my jugular which doesn't allow me to workout lifting any type of weight. Targeted fat loss (or spot reduction) is not a thing, you can't burn fat on specific areas of the body. So doing an arm workout isn't going to burn fat on your arms, just as doing crunches isn't going to burn stomach fat, that's not how the human body works.
You lose fat by being in a caloric deficit, in which fat is used as energy due to a lack of calories. You can't "burn" fat.
Also, this isn't an arm workout, it's mostly shoulders and upper trapezius, biceps and triceps are barely involved. It won't grow muscle and certainly won't burn fat.

Yes! Barely got through it. I’m definitely going to be using it in a routine until my arms adjust and I need something new.
i haven't properly worked out in 8 months and gained so much weight in that time but whilst my journey to fitness again is hard, I realised I really did miss doing your workouts. The only place on UA-cam which makes your muscles feel killer burns and tell funny stories whilst doing it.

Pushing oxygen in the air wont do it if this worked peoplr arent dumb taht they would take gym membership and buy dumbbells obviously homeworks work but pumping oxygen while sitting on bed doesnt

You cannot go diminishing her work, go ahead and train different if you want, but I love how I look and love the results her workouts have given me
