I'm doing this after my pilates workout. It brings me peace. I've done it a few times now and I'm noticing that my hips get more flexible and that my legs can reach back further each time that I do this. So it's a really good stretch! Love it!

I have to say!!! I've been doing this video about 5 days a week for maybe three weeks, and it has chaaaaanged my life. I've always struggled a lot with flexibility, and stretching has always been stressful for me bc I would never see the results I wanted. Doing this video finally took my mind off of judging where I'm at and I was able to just enjoy how it felt to stretch and breathe. It brings me joy in the morning, or as a mid day pick me up, or as the last thing I do before bed. When I did it yesterday, I was super tight, but when I did it just now, I was blown away by my progress. I've never been this flexible and I've danced my entire life. This video is IT, y'all!! Thank you Cassey so much for your incredibly positive and encouraging spirit. All of your videos are wonderful and I'm so grateful for this free content.

Same here, it feels like sitting pretzel-legged. I have fairly flexible hip flexors, but still. I usually do butterfly instead if there's ever a stretch for hip flexors that I just don't feel.
No, I am the same way. The reason in my case isn't youth, like Tracy Allen suggested (I am 42,) but the fact that the outer parts of my large hip bones are missing (it's a birth defect.) Not sure if you ever had the hip area X-rayed - I had always thought I was simply really flexible and therefore, cool, until I found out the reason, which actually causes issues later in life. :/

Only from 6:40 to the end was okay, but still a bit uncomfortable. Day 2 (Sun. Making eye contact with my dog as I stretched made things a heck of a lot nicer! Done- stretches really felt good! When I do down dog I think of how my dogs do this overtime they wake up in the morning to get my form down good!
I used to have a really bad sleep routine and lifestyle . I would sleep through the day and wake up in the night. I would get nothing done and I would hardly be active. Now I go to bed around midnight and wake up at around 6am. I keep a bullet journal to help me be a bit more productive and I have achieved my back bend, and I am now able to grab my feet with straight legs. I read more. Study more. And videos like these really help me out. They make me feel calm and relaxed when the stress of a productive life catches up with me. This channel helps a lot. It inspires me to do better, and achieve more. So thanks!

This video is so amazing. I have used it many times for relaxation. But today I had very bad muscle soreness and I couldn't sleep because of it. At 6:30am I finally got out of bed and did this routine and boy will I sleep like a baby now! I just regret not doing this earlier and saving my sleep schedule lol

First off LOVE this video. I do it over and over. SECOND I HAVE A TIP I LEARNED. You know that stretch where you bring ankle over knee. You can do that when you are just chilling with friends and they think you are just sitting Indian style. You can do it just about anywhere and not draw attention to yourself. I do it a lot. Also you can work on your toe point anywhere. JUST bend and flex.
Again this video was over more quicker than I thought. Woke up with some light pain from my back muscles and I knew how a day looks like following a morning with this pain. Notes: I haven’t exercised or stretched for a long while. Only from 6:40 to the end was okay, but still a bit uncomfortable.
Day 2 (Sun. Apr. 12)
Time completed: 00:11 (actually midnight on Apr. 13 but let’s pretend it was the on the 12th)
Notes: Almost the same as Day 1 but I could stretch a bit further, and do the hip flexor sitting thing for both sides instead of just the right.

Yes this feels good the tightness from exercise in my thighs and glutes can be felt with each stretch soooo good
Making eye contact with my dog as I stretched made things a heck of a lot nicer!
Done- stretches really felt good! When I do down dog I think of how my dogs do this overtime they wake up in the morning to get my form down good!
It is scientifically proven that when you look at dog's your happier. That's why I love my dog!
Every time my dogs do that I HAVE TO say "and the downward dog" my husband cracks up 😂
I used to have a really bad sleep routine and lifestyle . I would sleep through the day and wake up in the night. I would get nothing done and I would hardly be active. Now I go to bed around midnight and wake up at around 6am. I keep a bullet journal to help me be a bit more productive and I have achieved my back bend, and I am now able to grab my feet with straight legs. I read more. Study more. And videos like these really help me out. They make me feel calm and relaxed when the stress of a productive life catches up with me. This channel helps a lot. It inspires me to do better, and achieve more. So thanks!

me too! i hope i can get a yoga mat for 2017 Christmas. At home there is a carpet so its okay but at school its a hard floor it kills. i usually have to put a towel or blanket down. I need a proper one. Ive been doing pilates so long!
wow this really didnt feel like ten minuts! Although I was doing it very poorly, it felt very relaxing especially because of the breathing technique
This video is so amazing. I have used it many times for relaxation. But today I had very bad muscle soreness and I couldn't sleep because of it. At 6:30am I finally got out of bed and did this routine and boy will I sleep like a baby now! I just regret not doing this earlier and saving my sleep schedule lol
Honestly, this is so relaxing. I do this every night before bed with fairy lights and candles and give myself some much needed me time

First off LOVE this video. I do it over and over.
SECOND I HAVE A TIP I LEARNED.
You know that stretch where you bring ankle over knee. You can do that when you are just chilling with friends and they think you are just sitting Indian style. You can do it just about anywhere and not draw attention to yourself. I do it a lot. Also you can work on your toe point anywhere. JUST bend and flex.
