In this video I show you how to Plasti dip your whole car, how much plasti dip we used and how many coats we used and how we prepared the car before hand to spray it. We will be finally painting the car Rare Jade Pearl this Matte black color was only the base and we did 6 coats total and used a little over 1.5 gallons. Remember that the car used in the video is a soft top Ford GT.

Did you have to sand the original paint down to the compound before repainting?

It's kind of like a wrap so no sanding down needed. You could peel it off later and have good paint underneath still.
