    When was the last time you detailed your engine bay?

      Never done mine, but I might give it a go now... i’m sure mine will be a lot dirtier though 😬

      Did mine partially this summer (would not call it in-depth or over the top like some detailers on UA-cam but good enough that people notice and give praise. Not really about that risking my alternator, battery and fuse box life lol.
      Used Surfex HD and that does a terrific job. That will tackle your issues with grease with absolute ease. That much I can guarantee you. Can use it around the house as well. Had some Atom Mac from BH which also helps prevent rust. Always useful on cars past a certain age. Worth doing on the bonnet and locks. Car pro Perl to finish the job as dressing also goes a long way. Those products are very versatile and highly rated. Don’t cost a crazy amount either as you can dilute them and use them for various areas of the car.

      @@kellylongman4438 Piss easy to do. Not just done for your satisfaction. Might mean a mechanic treats the car well when it goes in if it looks nice. Would also mean doing your motorway checks is much easier.

      That’s an interesting thought! I wonder if techs look at clean cars more favourably..?

    You did a great job as usual. You inspire me and others to tackle these tasks on our own cars especially when we see the difference. I look forwards to your videos as I have done for a few years now.

    Please bro
    1-Are you recommending me to buy it ??
    2- I am really afraid from the engine problems specially that l am living in Yemen and there isn’t spare part or engineering who can fix it 🥲

      I don’t recommend anyone to buy anything really.. Its quite a big financial commitment and you need to make that decision. If parts supply is a problem in your region then may not be the most sensible option if it is your only car. If it is a toy/weekend car like mine it doesn’t really matter if it’s broken for a long period of time as it’s not used as a primary method of transport.

      @@CarThought But I want you to know that I will do all my best to maintain it ..like changing oil regularly and won’t rev it up when it’s cold … But after all what I did Am l going to face a engine problem. It’s my dream car since I was a kid and it will be my only day use car

    • @CarThought
      @CarThought  2 роки тому

      To be honest if you are THAT worried about it breaking it’s probably not the best decision for you as it sounds like you may be in a situation where you can’t repair it and can’t afford to not have it running. Just my opinion obviously.

      @@iskanderjaffer9432 all cars break mate, unfortunately I can’t say which ones will and when. Best you can do is to make a smart purchase and budget for the car to break then you won’t be struggling when it does 👍
