This video features the C43 AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes C Class. My car is the 2019 C43 AMG Saloon or the C43 AMG Sedan for those across the pond :)

Great video, love the cameo at the end too! It is important to make sure that any of the Engine & Machine Cleaner is removed after the cleaning phase. This is a lot easier if running water over the engine, so if using the rinse and wipe method here, just make sure you are thorough and get it all. If the Engine bay is not really dirty and just needs a spruce up, you can jump straight to the Vinyl & Rubber Care stage to clean and protect in one - just make sure you have a stack of microfibre towels you don;t care about, as they will pick up a lot of the dirt.

Key is picking the right product. I certainly never try anything other than Autoglym. Just washed my AMG today using snow foam 👌🏼 ✅

I use polar blast by autoglym most weeks on the thickest setting, my neighbour ribs me along occasions you canr see the car colour for a while. I fo get through it sadly as a side effect lol

Hi mate, I have lots of how to detailing videos on the way. Cleaning the interior, best way to clean the seats etc, even a video on how to super clean and protect the steering wheel. Will be filming these soon :)
On my car, I remove the engine covers, and use a good amount of citrus-based snow foam, let it work its magic, then rinse it off with a low-pressure water jet. Then, I spray some water-based dressing and dry it off.
That sounds epic Peter, will have to try this some day! :)
Hello thank you for uploading the video, just checking the vinyl and rubber autoglym is safe to use on my engine bay as I've read it's to be used for dashboards
Hey, no problem. It's fine to use on the engine bay covers shown here. I wouldn't use it on the engine itself though.

How would you wash the underside of the bonnet? Would you rinse that down with a hose?
@@taj368 You can spray the engine bay cleaner on the mictofiber cloth and wipe it clean.

I'm considering the w206 C63s if its good next year when my C43 is coming up to 4 years old.
Quite new to the merc c class. Uk c class. Can anyone suggest how to turn on the main headlights when it’s dark (as in evening). Auto lights switch doesn’t seem bright enough. Andrew can you advise? The blue icon seems like the main beam but I also got cars flashing me, so now im abit confused. BMWs definitely more intuitive
You have to have the optional performance lights for the automatic beam dip. If you dont have the option you will need to manually turn full beam (blue icon) on and off when cars pass to not blind them. If you do have the optional lights you can pull the full beam button all the way down and let go and a (A) icon will appear. If this does not appear you probably dont have the optional lights.
@@ABAUTOAMG mate can I give you a call at some point? because I’m super confused over what I should be doing here. Surely, main headlights should be as simple as flicking on main beam and driving at night without blinding or glaring anyone out. Last night I noted 2/3 on coming cars flash me. And that has created doubt in my mind.
Hey AB does the c43 have track pace?
Mine doesn't have it bit I think you can retrofit it although I'm not 100% sure if/how this works in the C43.

My dealer told me it’s okay to pressure wash our car’s engine bay. But I only did it once.
Yep! Pan the organiser has a good pressure washer engine bay cleaning video on youtube. You can do it but you have to be careful. With our newer cars and well covered up mercs its less needed though so this method works great.
