- In this video, I show how to safely detail the engine bay of your Mercedes or really any car. The car in this video is a 2005 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG W211. The engine bay is one of my favourite things about this car and it deserves a good cleaning.

Long to do list but I would like to get some advice first what’s the best diagnostic tool for e55? I’m not a pro but quite a hands on and seems can do everything I’ve seen so far on your videos
And actually it’s a first car I want to do it myself
Previous would be left at mechanics mercy ( maybe a passion and simplicity plays a role here :))
Also, some tyre gel or just a silicon based cream/liquid to protect, maintain and bring out the shine of the rubbers around the engine bay. Good video! :)
Yes ,,I use a product called Armor All Original protectant for all the black plastics and rubber hoses..works very well.

I’m have rough idle issue bro my idle seems to be off . In drive and reverse when on brake it’s @ 800 in park and neutral It’s at 1200-1400 n I have e63 w211 no check engine light
something to check, make sure the throttle plate is clean. takes 15 minutes. but it helps.
I recently had an issue similar to this with my m113 500. the way I fixed the issue was to check the MAF and clean it off, same with the throttle body. It fixed the issue so it could be similar to the M156

24k Media Your engine doesn’t have a MAF, it has a MAP. Rough idling most likely is caused by unmetered air aka a leak (smoke test it), old spark plugs and wires or a defective coil pack.
