Hey Bryce, I also use a 'Diawa' fishing rod support (I certainly do not fish 🤣) Slot the folded legs of your Ronin into the pouch and hey presto! you have total support. Strap and rod holder work great together 👌

HI. nice video. Can I ask you for the link or the name of the side handle where you hang the monitor? I'm trying to find a configuration for my atomos ninja, which always remains closed in the drawer because I can't find a place for it. on my ronin there is currently the central and two lateral handles of the SIRUI. I wouldn't want to lose any of the side handles. and I could leave one and insert the one you use by also connecting the monitor. Thank you!

This isn't quite 100% related but... Should a gimbal (DJI RS 3 Mini) always go in a hard case before going into a backpack? Is it at risk of getting damaged by not always having it in a hard surface case?
I don’t think so. It’s designed to be rugged, but it will protect from any scratches. So if you’re concerned with that. But I’ve always kept mine in a backpack and it’s still in great condition

From your camera setup, I see you use the Atomos Ninja V.
I would like to ask you some things about it.
I use a sony 7iii with a zhiyun crane 2.
When I connect the atomos to the camera, and the camera to the gimbal, the atomos doesn't work, so I have to disconnect the cable from the camera to the gimbal, to get ATOMOS active again.
By detaching the cable from the gimbal to the camera, I lose the possibility of controlling ISO, SHUTTER, IRIS, REC, FOCUS LOCK.
This problem made my purchase useless. Because for me it is essential to control the camera via gimbal
I wonder if, with the new DJI or Zhiyun gimbals, perhaps, I have the possibility of having the aforementioned controls via Blootooth, in order to avoid the connection with the cable and have the possibility of using my Atomos.
Most likely the problem is also caused by my camera, which cannot manage the two connections simultaneously.
But for now I would rather buy a new gimbal if I knew it would fix the problem.

Hmmm this could be a power limitation of the a7iii. I don’t have this issue on my a7s3, but I know my a7iii is finicky when there’s too many things plugged into it drawing power. Sorry to hear you’re having troubles 😫

This is a great product. My issue is that i have two battery grips for the RS3 pro for long shoots. I wish they would sell the baseplate separately, so that i didn't have to by the whole product again just for another baseplate. It's a pain to take off the baseplate each time
Yeah that’s fair. Although I’ve never gone through a single battery in one day, even on a wedding day I’ll still have 50% left. What exactly are you doing that requires 2 batteries?
Not available... Bummer. I use an exercise strap on a Tilta ring. But this is smaller and would function similarly.

I didnt think I needed the rs3, so I purchased the rs3 mini and I have buyers regret. BUT I dont see why the bottom adapter wouldnt fit the mini? can anyone confirm?
