Ya’ll aren’t listening to him. He’s not killing himself doing cardio. He just raises the heart rate and keeps his ability to talk. That’s the cardio you need. It’s a marathon, not a sprint
Jan 1st 2023 I had heart attack and had 3 stints into my lungs. Now I'm recover and back into the gym. Been following Jay Cutler training and getting all my information too achieve my goals. I've been working hard and getting gains. Thank you Jay keep making videos for your fan.
Do high intensity cardio after weight training but keep it short and on rest days go for duration on cardio, eat alot of protein you can still put on so much muscle and lean out body fat, fasted morning cardio on rest days always hits and speeds up metabolism throughout the day.
This is what I am slowly ramping back up to and the simple tactic of eating then getting up and doing something 15-20 minutes afterward for at least half an hour. It can be the laundry, swinging around nunchucks, the dishes and other chores etc. I just know it gets your metabolism cranked up really well.
I am trying to loose my gut once and for all. Been stuck with me all my life. My issue is mainly my impulsive desire to over eat calories after working out. But I am getting a better grip at that. I am going to start to implement morning cardio’s (fasted) and continue with the gym resistance training.
Stair climber is the best cardio imo. You get you heart rate up FAST and it doesn’t need to be for super long. I hit that a few times a week before my workout
Remarkable. There exists a wide array of viewpoints regarding cardiovascular exercise. However, I personally engage in sixty minutes of such activity daily, as it enhances my cognitive acuity.
Depends on what cardio you want. There‘s runner/marathon type cardio, there‘s high intensity cardio like in combat sports boxing, mma etc. And then there‘s cardio for bodybuilding. But every human should do a little bit of cardio daily.
Well one reason is that endurance cardio increases free radicals in the body and ages you quicker. Another is that there are eventually diminishing returns. It's all about getting enough to reduce your resting heart rate. Many are finding 10 minutes of intense cardio, or 20 of moderate is the sweet spot.
That’s prob only for elite level guys who are watching every marker and probably has minimal affect anyway. Like Jay said before, doesn’t matter if you do your cardio fasted or not, just get the work done.
That stair machine turned up to level 10 or more is like the stairway to hell, it's the best cardio and the most painful but effective
Not telling the big man what to do, but I personally love swimming! Can’t go wrong with a good swim, plus it’s great on the joints
It’s borderline impossible for someone that muscular to do laps. The density is like pulling an anchor across the water.
If you overdo it with bad form it can be bad for your joints
problem with swimming is majority dont have access to a pool + swimming in a public pool is like swimming in someones bath water.
@@user-wf2po9qm2byes if you do anything wrong it’s bad.
Swimming best exercise.
I normally get my cardio out doors but I have added this after my workouts since I have been following you 💪🏼
Helps with Vitamin D levels
yeah but during the summer it suck unless its at night or the morning

Each cardio machine has its own pros and cons that’s why you mix it up n do each of them !
Jay you are the man. I’m 42 and trying to get where you are lol. My dream would be to have you train me. I’m a fan to say the least

I like to do cardio after training. Push as hard as you can when you train and give everything you have left with the cardio afterwards.
Thats why you are 130lb

@@angelmx5734don't do cardio after weights , your goal should be to replenish what you lost in the workout not to go even further into recovery

TrainerRoad you can’t beat it, period.
And to think some “experts” say that steady state cardio isn’t the way to go. Do they have multiple Mr. Universe titles????😂😂😂😂
Exactly.

So, is that 5 minutes of each machine for 20 mins per day? And is that best for an enhanced person?

Anything over 115 bpm Is great. You choose.
220 - your age x 60-70% = heart rate cardio fasted

Probably gonna ramp up the duration as the weeks go by.
I’m doing 80 mins fasted cardio on level 2

Is there a catabolic effect on muscle when doing fasted cardio for the 20 mins ?
You really think he would do anything at all that would reduce his muscle mass?

Hell no. You can do 40 minutes, 6 days a week and still not worry.
Step mill is too easy, feels like have to spend hours on it, never bother
Wtf his hair cut?😂😅

20 minutes ?? Da fuck ..nah you gotta go longer than that
20 min of cardio is NOT enough!
20 minutes, 3 days a week, is plenty.
