1994 Ram 5.9 Magnum rough idle no power / fix

1994 Ram with a 5.9 gas v8.
Ram extremely rough and very rich. Didn’t have hardly any power to drive.
I check the map sensor, idle stabilizer, and then checked manifold vacuum. Vacuum was only -5. Applied vacuum to the egr and nothing changed while running. Removed egr to find it was hung wide open. Just to be sure I installed the old egr with a piece of aluminum can to block it off. Vehicle ram perfect this way so I installed a new egr to properly fix the issue. Now manifold vacuum is at -16, power is back, and idle is smooth. I would’ve liked to get more on video but maybe this will help someone out.
