Chrysler 200 P0520 code and repair (2015)
Quick video showing the original oil pressure sensor stuck at 103psi. No need to check wiring or anything, if you unplug the sensor and your value changes then you know it’s just the sensor. Clear codes afterwards and you’re set.

This is a very specific problem and I don’t expect many others to have this issue. The fix for this vehicle was the id code box. It was shorting the bus line across the steering lock Ecu, certification Ecu, and the inside fuse box. Just a note, the steering lock Ecu fails much more often than the id code box.

Tundra false abs activation issue / 2006
Переглядів 747 місяців тому
This truck would engage abs randomly at stops or rolling slowly / u-turning. The rear end will need flushed and rebuilt or replaced all together. That is going to be the only way to keep all the rust and metal shavings from building up on the sensors and causing erratic readings. If I clean the sensor off then the truck does not falsely engage abs for a few days, until it builds up crud again.
Honda / Acura V6 ticking noise issue (2009 Odyssey)

This video is just showing the cause of a loud ticking noise on an 09 Odyssey. This is a fairly common issue on these V6 engines. Sometimes you can see the worn lobe without taking the rocker bridge off, but in this video with it removed you can clearly see the extent of the issue. Wish I would’ve recorded the ticking to put in this video but maybe next time.

Thanks for sharing, what brand bushing did you replace them originals with?
@@tools4spoons I believe I used some duralast stuff. It seemed like decent stuff that was rebranded for Autozone (like most companies). Still have no issues. The originals were worn and causing the vehicle to wander all over the road.
Mechanic looked at everything over when I noticed mine doing the same thing. He didn't see anything wrong with it. Is it safe to assume the cap was spraying antifreeze when it started over-heating? Same situation with me. Fans, good. Thermostat, good. No leaks anywhere. Where did you get your radiator? @2007TITAN
The a/c and heat is not working in the front, and the back in the middle. But it's working in the back of yje 3rd row seat. My boyfriend replaced the burnt fuse. But it's still doing the same thing. Do you know what it could be? It's a 2015 dodge durango.
@@BugJones-vp4sl Do you mean it’s not blowing any air at all?
@Starwind_and_Hawking It's just not blowing in the front.
@@BugJones-vp4sl if it’s not blowing any air (regardless of temperature) at all, then you’re looking at a blower motor or blower resistor issue.
@Starwind_and_Hawking ok, thank you so much.
That's a good idea I'm going to try that
Because am working on the same Highlander the steering lock didn’t work and because of that the engine couldn’t crank and the immobilizer light blinking,
So what’s the cause?
On this one it was the id code box that failed. I updated the description to better explain it. The lock Ecu fails more often though. You have to watch voltage on the Lin bus while unplugging modules or see which one doesn’t communicate to help figure it out.

@@durangojay7350 so there is no airflow out of the front vents? Am I interpreting that correctly? If so then make sure your blower motor is coming on, if it’s not then you have to backtrack with a wiring diagram to see what the issue is.

I have a 2019 440i and have this code 190F08. No check engine light and no rough idle...but i almost cannot fill the tank...pump click pump click, all the while you can hear the tank fill neck fill with fuel and the pump shuts off. Takes a good 10-15 minutes to fill the tank... could this valve be the problem?
@@rhoward3702 this valve is most likely not your problem.
Would this be the same issue on my 2010 X5,
This vehicle had a 6hp19 transmission. I do not know yours off the top of my head, but if it’s that or a similar version then it should have this seal.
Do a tipm replacement on this year if possible??
This year has a PDC, it does not have a TIPM. Replacing the PDC requires no programming
Have codes 118002, 190F08, 191C02. Also got my first tank of gas and had a hard time starting. Pulled the valve--can't blow through it, unlike your bad one. Hmmm... For others, here's good detail on how to remove the connectors: ua-cam.com/video/Ru0I-wQA2ko/v-deo.html
A failing purge valve can show symptoms intermittently, especially when they get hot under the hood. It’s impossible to post repairs and cover every scenario.
Replaced the valve and the codes have been gone for more than a week and a couple hundred miles. Used a $10 AliExpress valve lol. Also had to rely on this other video for how to disconnect the fittings: ua-cam.com/video/Ru0I-wQA2ko/v-deo.html
In his situation the valve was stuck open, but there are cases valve stuck closed, and partially open/close. But purge Valve (in engine bay) always closed until commanded by the computer.
Thank you thanking you I put in radiator sealer and I think that’s what clogged your radiator
I understand you said you didnt want to explain how you wired it to the relay but ....mannn it would really help. Because you said you wired the ground switch relay thats the part thats got me confused. The ground is 85 The switch is 87(on a four pin relay) Did you connect the light blue orange wire to 85 or 86? Did you put the light blue green wire on 87? I knowll lil bit about relays but still learning. Thanks for the vid. It really gave me confidence to try it
I’m not around that vehicle or a wiring diagram right now. But I believe the light blue / orange stripe is a grounding signal, it would go to 85. 87 would need an inline fuse added and then ran to the blue / green stripe wire. Both 30 and 86 would just be ran to the hot stud shown in the video. That’s for a 4 prong relay. Let me know if that helps
@Starwind_and_Hawking I truly appreciate you explaining it further! I tried and failed earlier. I'm trying to fix the wife's 2014 Jeep Grand cherokee 3.6 . The blue green wire on her truck is smaller than the one on your customers' Durango. This has led me to believe I had chosen the wrong wire or Chrysler decided to upgrade the gauge wire because of the issues with the board relay burning out
I have a 2015 durango that gives no air out my front vents would this method help fix that issue?
This is only for compressor engagement, it would not affect how much airflow or where air comes out of the dash.
Good video, but my 2017 Durango compressor works and my blower motor works. No cold air...bought the self charge kit and meter read full on refrigerate...I'm stuck.
Blend doors not operating properly, compressor clutch may work but it might be shot and not able to move refrigerant, you could have a blockage on the high side, etc. you need a gauge set hooked up to see what’s really going on.
@Starwind_and_Hawking I replaced the blend doors, I'll look into the compressor..how about the pressure switches?
If your compressor clutch is engaging then you need to see high and low side pressures with a set of gauges. Pressure switches should be fine if they are letting your clutch engage. Plenty of UA-cam videos on what your pressures should be with a working compressor.
@@Starwind_and_Hawking Appreciate it! I'll check it out.
I have a 2012 Durango that the clutch isn’t kicking on anymore, how would I be able to tell if it’s the clutch or the fuse box ?
My other video on this Durango shows how I checked to see that it needed the PDC replaced, go check that one out. This video just shows some info about bypassing the PDC, once it’s confirmed to be the issue and adding an external relay.
Thank you
So change ecm?
On this vehicle yes. The coils can fail on these and they can damage the ecm at the same time. Replace the bad coil and then the ecm. Most companies suggest 6 new coils and an ecm. There are places you can send your ecm to and they will repair it so you don’t have to do programming.
Disregard sorry. Just found break in wire. Thanks
Where was your break ?
@@danielwiggins2036 how did you find a brake in the wire?
I have the same issue I would like to see a diy relay video.
This vehicle comes back for oil changes regularly. I will try to make a quick video of how it’s wired. If you can get a wiring diagram for your specific year then your just taking the wires that go into the box and running them to a regular external relay instead.
If you get power to the 62 10amp fuse does that mean the relay is good?
I have power to fuse 62, but still no clutch. Engagement.
