Surprising Find In The Woods While Exploring Caves (Crime Scene?)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 сер 2024
- In this video we head back to a familiar location. The location where I found and rescued that 1977 TV. This time, we focus on some of the rocky formations and depressions in the area to see if there's any hidden caves, holes or interesting features. We do find a pretty surprising find when I stumble upon a pipe coming out of the ground. So come along with me as we can dirty and into some tight places to see what we discover. Enjoy

So what do you guys think is down that pipe? A type of mine shaft or a well?
I don't know. It kind of reminds me of the big pipe scene on the original "Jeepers Peepers" movie. Lol :)
Seriously though, I think it's a ventilation shaft.
That one reminded me of the pictures my neighbor had from when her father built a cess pool. Big hole, stone lined.
I think maybe type of mine shaft. Loved this video Jay & your excitement! Going to have Jill & Lili tie a life line around you so we don't lose you way down under, lol. Seriously another Epic explore!!! 🥰
I think it's a mine shaft, covered over with the pipe and bars across to let bats in and out, while keeping explorers safely out.
If you threw a rock down it, see if a rock crashed through the windshield of a car driving through a tunnel. The fire department and police will be there, it will be obvious.
I'm most intrigued what the crime scene tape was all about
That was an unexpected find
Oh heck yes this kind of stuff gets my blood moving in a good way. Like to look through pilice files news paper files. Probably need exact location. Or run the numbers from the tape.
Sometimes you make me so nervous crawling in those holes, I don’t know how Jill can stay so calm!! All the rocks and carpet were cool though. Thanks for the hike and staying safe!! 👍👍💙💖💙💖💙
Guess they're used to it
Me too Cynthia me too
Great video, as usual. Seegreat to see Lili and Jill with you. You had me a little concerned with all those little caves. You get so excited about investigating anything underground.
That i do 🙂
You've gotta come to Bilger's Rocks in Clearfield County, PA (Grampian, PA to be exact!) I promise you won't be disappointed.....it's wild and so very unique!! Fantastic videos, as always, JP!! Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful rock formation
Great Adventure in the woods, thanks for sharing 👍💙
Hi JP 🖐🏼, Jill and Lili. THAT crime scene tape and that snake would have been My BIGGEST deterrent.. I'd been running so fast that I probably would have forgotten that My family WAS with me ‼️ LOL 😆 🤣. thanks for sharing.👍
Haha
Cool rock video can’t wait to see more stuff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Another excellent video
Very beautiful reminds me of when I was younger
Thank you Jay for taking us along with you hope you have a good trip home
Thanks reena 💙
I saw 3 black tubes like that. They were mine openings that were blocked to allow the bats to keep using the tunnels (and to keep explorers out) in Jessup. We were at the one opening before and after they were blocked using my gps'r.
Best holes video yet!
👍
Every time I see an old well or hole like that, it reminds me of a crime that happened. My daughters friend was murdered by her husband, and he threw her body in an old well on his grandfathers old home place, it was way out in the country. You scare me crawling around in those old caves, and things, be careful. Had a good time, although on edge. LOL
Interesting finds !
I think it is a vent for a shaft or tunnel . Glad you came back here this was a interesting location lots if little holes and things ! That plastic drainage tile with the bars is odd maybe a storm drain or a well nature is always interesting !! Great video as always !! 👍👍👍
👍
Great explore 👍🙂
Awesome video JP
Got a late start ...didn't realize you were in the area where you found the little t.v. in the "dump" ...did have a lot of intriguing "hidey holes" ...glad you went back to explore it further . Great seeing Jill and Lili with you : } ......"..Caution , Crime Scene " ...well, you don't come across that every explore ( thank goodness) . Another fun video : }
Lets hope someone just tossed that crime tape down there.
Lovely treck, thank you!
👍
Very interesting explore JP thanks 😃👍
👍
Great adventure Jay!! I spooked an adult ratler last spring hiking the trails in the foothills of palo alto. It was hissing and ratling its tail. Thats a spine chilling sound!! Stay safe buddy! love the chan, youre one of my fave YT'ers.
I hope i never encounter one
We have disturbed a few rattle snakes along I-5 ,at first it sounded like a sprinkler, but oh noooo
I love this video. I love exploring in the woods!!! I can't do it anymore but I can by watching your videos!!! Keep em coming!!! Thank you JP!!!
👍
Some cool rocks
Great video. Holding my breath for fear of a nose to nose with a snake. My thoughts on that shaft. I agree with ventilation shaft for mining. Did you call them Grizzly bars ? To stop Bears going down. Thoroughly enjoyed it and nice to see Jill and Lili with you. 🌿🍀🌿
Grizzly bars are used for mining equipment to separate material. The proper name would of been bat gate. Allow bats to enter, but keep people out.
@@JPVideos81 🌷👍🌷
JP, totally awesome and cool video! Really enjoyed it and with Jill and Lili. Loved those rock formations!
Amazing Adventure...a nice Family Walk! LOVE the rocks, natures carpet, leaves on the ground, and of course your commentary. Your estimates of distances seem spot on! Wouldn't catch me sticking my head in those holes and crevices but I will happily watch you do it! GREAT VIDEO, THANK YOU Enjoyed following behind you on this adventure.
Im glad to do it for you.
I'm glad you made it back to check on those other locations. Another great outdoor adventure and video !
Nothing too impressive, but another day out in the wilderness.
Do you ever get scared of ticks & getting Lymes Disease? I grew up I Jersey, I'm living in Philly, but everytime I go to the park or woods, I'm paranoid. I'm always checking myself before I hop in the car. My nephew got it @ 15yrs old and is on medicine the rest of his life!!
The concern is there, but i dont live my life in fear. What's meant to be will be
I'm off tonight. I'm waiting. This looks cool.
I think that is a abonded well. They should all be covered like that those deep holes. You wonder how many bodies have fallen threw those holes. Yes get out of that hole. They should fill those hole with all the rock around. Those are cool rocks, like to have one of them in my yard. Finding that crime tape sure was strange. Thank you so much JP great find on a nice day.
nice, always love outdoors and natures carpet. well done jp, well done,
Thanks lynn
i liked the big picture of video and the little picture on the side. it was a fun video.
Thanks!
I liked it...always wanted to check out big rock formations like that, but my companions weren't so enthused, wouldn't stop. Thanks again, JP!
You're welcome
You should see glacier forms and huge rocks at Panama NY near Jamestown.
Air shaft I would guess
Awesome video! Good to see Lili and Jill with you. You got to have someone around when you’re going into holes in case something would happen! Love the picture of you on the rock!
👍🙂
I thought so.. all those little caves and gullies could be mines that have collapsed
great place to metal detecting old coins or gold .🤔🇺🇸
Reminds me of the scene in jeepers creepers of the guy sliding the body’s down the chute. Bad ass bro as always amazing work
Creepy movie haha
I feel like the culm and silt near the openings was backfill. I would imagine that since the openings are pitched downward, with a good rain water could erode the opening through the silt backfill. Thus remains what you see today.
👍
That's a very 'holey' area!! You're either very brave or crazy tho as snakes LOVE caves and u have a lot of them in the U. S. as I found out when I was last there!! I love your enthusiasm tho and that ur prepared to try anything to make an interesting video. Gill 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🇬🇧
👍🙂
Wonderful site, thank goodness you can go where I cannot. You scare me going into those caves and say they are collapsible. Crime scene tape? OMG.
Great Video 👍 JP great look at caverns you found glad you brought the family along with you I was wondering about the other with police tape maybe some one could have fallen in maybe they were alone anyway it's always good to have someone with you take care
Ty dan. It was a nice day out exploring.
nice footage
Had to go on the replay video cuz I was interrupted half way thru the video. I liked the video. I liked seeing Jill and Lili . Just knowing they were there just in case. You spotted a really deep hole and a ventilator shaft. I think it was a well. What do I know?👱♀️ I like your exploring work no matter what your adventure involves.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💙💙
🙂
Wow interesting video, sorry if horror movies come to mind but now i see why they use the woods lol. More likely mine shafts, wells i probably cant see but hands down rocky, peaceful video a nice place to go to clear your head, but man some bring company lol. Thanks jay for the tour
Hi Jay. I really liked the video. It looks like a cool area.
Thanks kat 🙂
Nice video
Hi Jay, Jill & Lili, what a gorgeous place, I'm so glad you went back as I was eager to know what was there too, I don't think that black plastic pipe was covering a well but as to what it actually is I have no clue. That snake scared me too, I wish there had been a close up as I don't mind snakes at all it just spiders I'm afraid of lol. Thanks for taking us along on your expedition and it's always nice to see Jill & Lili too. Stay safe guys and take care, much love. xx💖
By the time panned over it was already gone. The small glimpse i had was enough lol
@@JPVideos81 😂
It looks scary
I think PA must be like swiss cheese. Beautiful on top and spooky and alien below. The rock formations! I guess the result of the ice age! Hi Jill and Lily!
👋
What an awesome photo of you on the rock. Glad you escaped the snake.....lol
Me too lol
The lose rock looks like shale. I google search PA shale map and also include shale gas. The pipe might be ventilation shafts.
👍
That layered rock is quite interesting. Any idea as to what kind it is ?
+ Hi Jp what an awesome return trip I wonder if that was a huge air vent for the old shift? What ever it is- it is very cool, loved the little caverns and formations, sorry its been a few days I've been distracted on other things, amazing job mate
No apologies. Definitely thinking it was something for an old mine. Stay safe my friend.
@@JPVideos81 +thank you for understanding mate, and definitely agreeing, you to my friend
Those rock formations look like they were once on the edge of a river, and that area looks like a ancient riverbed
I think it might of been a well and the foundation around might have been a pump house that had the well and a pump in it.
👍
Nice spot JP. Got to get out caving this summer. Lots of fun.
Looking forward to more
I think it was cool. I try to get out and go to different places it's hard sometimes because I work. But I will keep trying to.
at 11:45 that mine shaft thing reminds me of the one on jeepers creppers lol
Several people mentioned that
JPVideos that’s funny as hell
Geeettttt oooout
No way would I have crawled into the crime scene one!!
Dang Jay got your gun show shirt on today, that pipe looked like a vent pipe . But I know noda , always a good time in your crazywoods. Thanks for producing a fine video. Hi and thanks Jill and Lilly .
Central California watching
💪😆
That is really odd, to see that pipe coming from up, out of the ground.
The black pipe reminds me of jeepers creepers movie
Haha
I grew up on a farm in Pa. The farm had around 80 acres. I live in Va. now, but a lot of the footage you show reminds me of home. We had places in the woods that looked just like this. It was coal mining land and everything had been undermined. That's why you see these openings, the ground has just caved in. As a child, I was warned to stay away from them, but I enjoy watching you do it ! Where I lived, you had to buy Mine Subsidence Insurance when you built a house, that way you were covered in case your house fell into a mine shaft. I have seen coal cars in our woods back then also, but I've never seen anything like that tube in the ground. I'd say it was a vent pipe...but what do I know. Lol. Love your videos, my husband and I watch you all the time.
Thanks for watching and sharing
Jay did you see the snake at 13:13? 🐍. Maybe it’s not, but it kinda looks like one straight ahead in that frame tucked under that overhang.
I didnt, let's hope it wasnt one.
Jeepers creepers pipe.
I hate snakes! They just lie in wait and slither!! I'm not a fan of spiders but they are dead if they are inside the house! Be careful - it's snake hatching season! Great explore! Thanks!
I'm waiting JP
Yes do tell them thank you..I do worry about you there
21:40 the formation looks like a cat laying down with the head facing left
Was wondering how you were going to get out of that deep hole! 😊 And that crime scene tape! 😲 Holy shmoly!
I navigate pretty well
JP I would hazard a guess that maybe some of what you found here are old doghole mines. You know, people who were prospecting for coal and digging down to see if they could find a good vein off of what may have looked like an outcropping. I've found several places in PA where those kind of natural caves are just natural features. There's a few off of Scott Road in Chinchilla that we used to crawl into as kids.
Makes sense. Thanks for stopping by.
the pipe in the video make me think of the movie jeepers creepers
Yes!
Hi j p Not sure about that pipe I would guess it’s ventilation To bad you couldn’t send a camera down to see what’s going on down there.
Maybe ill try to rig something up.
Pretty neat spot you gained a sub here thanks to thne wandering woodsman
Welcome and thanks for stopping by
These rocks are phenomenological
😲🤔
Some of them big rocks looked like wooden dwellings,I think so anyhow😉
air hole for storm water tunnel?
JP You need more Tatt's bro!
Ive been saying that for years. My money keeps going towards camera equipment haha
@@JPVideos81 Ha Ha I hear yah. I swore I'd never get Tattoos till my daughter bought my first, 18 more later! 🤣
if this was Germany that may have been a rocket factory !!!
Dramtic Voice Next Week on JP's Adventures.
Will Jill & Lili save a Stuck JP?
How long will it take
After
Dadum the I told you
😲
Watch out for timber rattlesnake
Jay,
That layered rock looks like shale. Is shale found around coal deposits, I know there is oil shale so maybe this is related, do you know?
You must be related to Indiana Jones, another snake "lover":) Yes, I know he's mythical but snakes and spiders aren't:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
Maybe all these holes are what remains of an old coal mining operation from many years ago
Good possibility
Starting at 21:28 I noticed you were carrying a stick with a short pointed part out in front of you as you walked. Was that your snake protection stick? 😁
Will you be researching to see if there was a crime at that location in the past? The crime scene tape is seriously making me wonder!
Liked the use of picture in picture, too.
It was indeed my snake protection stick lol. I honestly rather not know if something bad took place there.
You might not BEAR WHAT LIVES THERE. IN THE WINTER. hihi
I thought you were going to fall in that hole, JP. My fingernails were flying all over the place. Be careful out there because leaves and snow can coverup some of those ground holes.
That's why i didnt go alone. Im safe and sound.
Thats where jeepers creapers hides his bodys. Remember?
Yep
Bro, that's the pipe from Jeepers Creepers!!
😲
Thank you for another good vlog love watching you snd you family
🙂
great video liked 👍
Thanks
Ok, I'm gonna state the obvious here but that tube remind me of the movie Jeepers Creepers lol
😬
Forestry service.
LMAO, you found the Jeepers Creepers pipe
Random Question...what was the First Structure You ever Explored as a Child? Or Sparked your Passion? Thanks!
I dont know what was first, but i explored an abandoned house and some junk cars found in the woods.
Wow 18
