At this point, it is the algorithm rather than a library or parents or friends or society that is imprinting a world view onto you. All the big tech algorithms control the evolutions of patterns of human behavior, just to optimize few parameters like engagement time, online shopping, likes, views, screen time. It is quite a god, molding the adam in his own shape.

this video is missing so much information. First of all, in the beginning, he should've mentioned that it was found in Turkey. and there was no single mention of Turkish archeologists. Second, "Gobeki Tepe " it's not a temple. Third, It shows at least 12 thousand years of human existence, not 10 thousand. Fourth, the head was stolen by German archeologists, then they just paid some amount of money back to Turkey in return.

Last night I was actually thinking of them and disappointed that they don't post anymore and this morning your video was reccomended on my feed 🙂 I am loving your channel and it reminds me a lot of FoC and this is meant as a huge compliment. You both have soothing voices. Great research. The images and video clips you choose are great and entertaining. I am learning a lot and I find it very relaxing. When you mentioned your newsletter at the start of the video I actually thought about signing up for it (and I will) and I've never done that from a UA-cam channel or anyone. I just started this documentary, so I haven't gotten through all of it, but I just wanted to compliment you on your insane production values. Your script, narration style, and audio and visual quality are all so professional, I genuinely thought this was like a BBC or National Geographic- level historical documentary.
A couple things: huge props for the "aliens" meme. Nicely done. Excellent. Loved it.
Another thing I loved was the nuance regarding the dam project. How it yes tragically flooded precious archeological sites, but brought much needed water to the region, pointing out that most of the critics of the project were in themselves water-rich regions. It's not so cut and dry, and I appreciate your not wholesale condemning the dam project.
Knowing this is the quality of your work, I'm eager to finish watching the rest of this documentary.
Please keep up the fantastic work.

This is such an amazing, well-researched, and informative documentary. I really can't recommend this video or this channel enough. This channel deserves 50 million subscribers. You can't go wrong, and you can't get a more eloquently or evocatively-delivered synthesis of so much scholarship, paired with excellent visuals and appropriate, enriching audio elements. An outstanding production all around!

Really? Because I find the guy pompous and condescending just a few minutes into this. I can't help paying special attention to what relates directly to the FACT that this monument wasn't supposed to exist. The historians and archeologist where wrong about the history of permanent settlement, technology, cataclysms, and agriculture. I have seen what clever people can do today- and we have not got any smarter for 350.000 years. We did lose our fur though. Unmatched marathon trekkers. We can eat nearly anything. Even each other. That's how our species conquered this world becoming the top predator. Sweat glands. Not intelligence.
We can escape cataclysm in replacement numbers, and we have. The human genome project found several bottlenecks in our shared genetic history.
This video is basicly just about trying to claim anything big or old must be religious in nature, and that the population that built major infrastructure wasn't even agrarian yet. Witch is just fucking stupid. Honestly.. At a certain point it's less face lost by academia by admitting they where wildly off on the history of technology. People forget. Being wrong like that isn't trivial. It's akin to saying the roman empire at it's hight was a stack of mud huts reinforced with straw and human feces where they had no knowledge of proper hygiene. Then excavating a roman bath claiming it's clearly a temple to some forgotten god. I mean.. Common!

“Ancient turkey”? 🤡 You realize that the name “turkey” was fabricated in 1923 & the name of “Göbekli tepe” is fake & wrongly translated from Kurdish name ‘Girê bi Navok’ which means ‘ the hill with the navel’, right? And the so called “Çay önü” is also fake and translated from the Kurdish name Berçem, which means Riverside and Navalî-Çori is also fake name, but this one is wrongly spelled Kurdish name. The real correct spelling of Navali-Çori is Newala-Çolê, which translates as Walley of the steppe.
And the general name of all these ancient sites is Xerabreşk= Dark-Ruins =kurdish and they are located between Kurdish cities of Amed/ Diyarbakir and Riha/Urfa which are cities of norther part of Kurdistan under jihadist turkey’s occupation right now. 🙂👍

@@kasturipillay6626 According to Herodotus in the passage where he talks about the gods with the Egyptian priests they state that the "gods" lived around 50.000(dont remember the exact number but can find it,it was somewhere in the range of 50-40) years before their time.
I know historians and archeologists dismiss that passage as false due to the fact that they haven't found anything to prove the existence of human organized cities of that time but as we know most likely there was a cataclysm or a large scale extinction event that most likely caused the downfall of the civilizations of that era.
The Greeks have documented 3 different cataclysms. The most recent one is the cataclysm of Deukalion which is the same with the one referred to in the bible. The one previous to that was called the cataclysm of Dardanos and the first one is called the cataclysm of Ogegos.
I know that the oldest found full developed city in Greece at the moment is called Sesclo and it was first inhabited around 7000 bc and was abandoned around 4.400 bc.
There's another city in Greece called Demenion that is fully excavated and estimated to have 5000 citizens with all kinds of shops and a market. That dates to 4.800 bc.
If there were big cities with shops, houses and administrative buildings at -7000 this means that the people that used to live there were far more developed that the common consensus.
As a kind neolithic to me meant fire sticks and stones and a lot of hair.Today after a lot of research and reading I know that neolithic people in some certain parts of the globe is not that different from those that we call ancients.

Pete, your work makes me such a better, happier thinker and world citizen. You have been my window out of the world of medical difficulty, the work and isolation of the pandemic, and the trials of parenthood. You have been an inspiration, a gift, and a friend to me and I will forever be thankful. May your work and soul be filled with joy, acknowledgment, and health.
    Yours thankfully and sincerely,
    A Wyoming, US mom

Amazing work. I don't think anyone is currently producing anything as detailed or informative as you are. This is beyond network budget quality and depth.

Fall of Civilizations does equally good work. I’m a big fan of both. Definitely beyond network quality.
