Would you do a continuation video to show you applying the epoxy? I am new to all this and interested to see your technique as others glitter from top to bottom but i like that you leave space.
I have bee asked for a tutorial a few times and will consider it in the future.
fishin799 yes, I’d love to see that too

Epoxy Video
Your cups are so pretty! I really love the decal you made! Is there any chance you will be doing a full tutorial including how you do your epoxy method?
Thank you. At this time I don't have any plans for a tutorial on applying epoxy. Maybe in the future.
Beautiful cups
Thank you!
You make great videos! Please make more!
In progress... It is taking me a little longer than I would like. I have a craft fair coming up that has most of my attention.
Hi, just discovered your channel and I’m thrilled. I subscribed because your creations and tutorials are great! I do have a question- do you seal again after you put the decals on and I guess the sealer you spray is hand wash?
I do add epoxy over the decals. Everything is sealed. They are hand wash only.
Beautiful! I loved them! How do you epoxy the cups? I know you have to constantly spin them but how do you keep them spinning?
Thank you. I have a cup turner.
They came out absolutely beautiful. Can you please show how you did the decal?
Thanks for sharing 💜
I created the decal on my computer.
Did you epoxy over the decal?
Yes.
so pretty! love the matching cup idea. i’ve thought about trying it myself. where did you get the straws? and did you just cut the one for the smaller cup for it to fit and not be too long? thanks!
I buy a lot of my straws online from different suppliers (Etsy, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc). The short straws were already that size and came from my cup supplier as part of a bundle when I ordered a case of the small cups.
These are beautiful. I am new to your channel. Do you have a video on your method of doing the epoxy. You break everything down into easy to follow steps. Thank you!
Thank you. At this time I don't have any plans for a tutorial on applying epoxy. Maybe in the future.
LOVE your easy explanation. I am new and never used my cricut maker so I'm excited to follow you. Where do you find the FDA approved epoxy and would you please post a video of epoxy application as well. Thanks so much!
You can buy it at the hobby stores or online. I use Alumilite Clear Cast.
@@VioletDoodlesBoutique thank you!
Do you have a ny wine glasses tutorial luv the cup
Then you. Wine glasses would be done the same way. Is there a specific design you're asking about?
New here... love your video. Could you please tell me where to find a video on how to apply the epoxy and what brand epoxy do you get?
I use Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast. You can find it online or in most hobby stores. I haven't uploaded my epoxy video yet but there are some on UA-cam from other makers.
Thank you for doing! When can we expect to see the 3 color ombre?
It is recorded and in the editing process now. :)
I apologize in advance if I’m repeating a question, I searched and didn’t see it if it’s been asked. When you apply the epoxy, do you tape off the stainless bands on the top and bottom or epoxy over that area? Thanks for the great ombré tutorial!
I tape it off.
Really enjoyed the videos I would like to do this for a present for my daughter they are really bright coloured and sparkling I know she would just go crazy. Could you do a videos please on how you printed the words on the cup. Did you use a printing machine? I want to print her name on to it.
My decals are made from vinyl that I design on my computer and cut with my Silhouette Cameo. You can hand cut vinyl or order decals from other makers if you don't have a machine. Some of the craft stores sell precut letters and design as well.
Beautiful! Did you use vinyl decal or water slide?
I used vinyl. I listed all of the supplies in the description of the video.
Kimberly Dukes-Frink what is water slide? Is it the wet method for applying vinyl?
Waterslide is a type of decal film. You can print on it with a standard printer and transfer the image to your project. It is an interesting medium to work with.
Is it possible to make a light blue, dark blue, charcoal color and have a yarn ball with hook that says YARN IS LIFE
Of course! You can order through my FB or IG pages. All the same name- Violet Doodles Boutique. Pricing depends of the size and style. If you are interested, send me a PM through FB or IG. If you don't use those, you can email me through my website www.violetdoodlesboutique.com.
Yay!! Just emailed you. Thank you
After you applied the glitter, did you coat with mod podge then epoxy?
This is my order: paint, mp, glitter, mp, glitter, epoxy, decal, epoxy.
I was wondering if you would share the name of the technique or how I can find how you made the yellow outline background for your decal? Is it in design space?
It is called offset. I use Silhouette Studio.
Violet Doodles Boutique thank you so much for replying back and sharing your information.
When do you pull off the tape after epoxy application
I use Alumilite and pull my tape around 30 minutes after application.
Did you cut the decal out after printing it or did it come out like that ??
I designed the decals on my computer and cut them in two colors of vinyl. Then I layered the colors and applied them to the cups before the last coat of epoxy.
What did material did you to paint with the white background?
flat white spray paint
Did you use any type of seal spray for the glitter before applying the epoxy?
Typically, I do not seal a two color ombre. I did mention that in the video. When I do seal, I use an acrylic spray.
Can you show how you apply epoxy they came out so pretty! Also do you sell these
This has been requested many times. It will be a future video (near future).
I do sell tumblers. You can visit my Facebook page @VioletDoodles or Instagram @VioletDoodlesBoutique or www.violetdoodlesboutique.com (although my website is not quite finished). Thanks!
hello- where did you buy the Hogg tumblers from ?
The Stainless Depot Company or Amazon.
I can't tell do you epoxy the cup all the way up or just where the glitter is applied?
I just go a little above and below the glitter.
@@VioletDoodlesBoutique Thank you
I hope you continue to make videos! Also, as another person commented can you do a video showing how to epoxy?
It is coming.
Do you sand the glitter down after the first coat of epoxy?
No. If you sand glitter, it can remove the color. I only sand after the second coat.
Can you fo a full start-to-finish tutorial?
I will add it to my future tutorials.
Hi what did u use to get the gloss
Epoxy. I use Allumilite.
Is the decal vinyl?
It is vinyl and sealed with another layer of epoxy.
How many coats of epoxy do you do total and at what stage do you add the decal
I usually have 2 over the glitter, decal, then 1-2 more layers depending on how it looks.
Thank you so much. Love your videos
You are so welcome! Thank you!
Do you have a page that we can buy from?
