I'm surprised - all that bacon and never any eggs! You should try crème brûlée in a bain marie in your oven. Do them in little foil moulds like you get round Mr Kipplings individual apple pies or crème caramel in silicon moulds - easy to transport. Make the mixture at home. Bring it on site in a plastic screw top bottle and cook them early in the evening and let the Cumbrian night time temperatures firm them up before pudding time. You can torch the sugar with a branch from the fire. They work a treet in my Dutch oven

It's great to see you deciding to work with clay. just to let you know though, you're best to let the clay dry naturally for at least a day, firing it up too early can lead to cracking due to the release of steam from the inside. loving the videos man.

Just a thought, but ever thought about building a canopy over the bench where you cut/split wood that could be even more comfortable for when it's drizzling while you're there and splitting. or canopy the whole little area that you have fenced in, but leave open from pole to pole, so you aren't leaving much for blind spots and your smoke from fire could disperse like if there was a fire next to a tree... just some thoughts...

that was brilliant, you could charge people to have that bush craft / culinary experience and as long as it wasn't expensive people would probably go for that, people who would like to learn and have nowhere near them to be able to do the bush craft on a regular basis or perhaps they would just like to have a bit more structure to their experience until they get more confident to go out on their own
