Hi chef. That kiln is quite nice. It is ONE of the best experiments y'all have done. It was a smart move. You and Tim seem to absolutely love it. ATB.
These adventures are so amazing This is my favorite duo on UA-cam
Every time I watch your movies I end up feeling bloody starving.
Great to see you back John and Tim, loved this video!
You guys are really pioneering in terms of mechanics. Persevere
Greetings from the USA! The great series continues...even after you are back at work in a 'day' job. Thanks to you and to Tim for the effort. I love to see a campfire. At the moment, I can only see one by video...but, back in the day! You fellows are full of ideas and 'following the dream' makes the 'Debris Village' ever-new.
That was great. You two have the site looking awesome again. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!
Nice one thanks for watching

that broom I thought was a basting brush at first , was waiting for the whole cow to come out to spit roast! great work
I agree waking up outside is great. I don't get the chance to go camping often but I'll put up my tent and sleep in the backyard every now and then to hold me over.
Man, that place has come a long way. Badass.
Nothing like a good warm fire...The bigger the better haha...Good to see you out and about again :)
Carl adoro seus vídeos. Deve ser bom demais viver suas aventuras. Sou apaixonada por vida ao ar livre. Bear Girylls, Matt Graham, Es Stafford, Cody Lundin, Dave Canterbur, Joe Teti entre outros, são meus musos inspiradores.

So nice to watch this vid, after a stressful week of work, and not being able to get out this weekend. It would be sick to see what would happen with a leafblower in the kiln, might be able to melt steel!
This is so cool!
Keep up the good work mate!
Epic mate! Nice to see you and Tim back in the village and some of that kiln action lol. Good luck in the new job and all the best from the northumbrian bushcraft crew. P.S. not enough cakes were harmed in this video!

I love this mans ingenuity and he definitely does not get credited enough for it and I think it has to do with his heavy, heavy, accent hahah but none the less his videos are awsome!!!
I just love your videos it's a part of my day that I just sit back on the couch and not watching TV but watching your videos I appreciate the time and effort you put into it I hope it's not taking them away from the relaxation that you're enjoying.. enjoy erase delete alright well don't pay attention those three words I was just trying to see if my text-to-speech would do what I told it to LOL have a good day Goodnight John Boy

My fave thus far.
Hi Chef John! Big fan of your videos. Been watching for over a year now from the States. Do you realize how popular you are over here? Bet you could get your own reality show. Or at least be a celebrity guest on a cooking show. Jimmy Fallon or Gordon Ramsey should be calling you soon! Keep up the good work. PS. I like it when Tim goes with you so I can see his point of view too. You guys make a great team!
Bryan LaChaine the law of jungle
That bacon looked amazing.
Awesome work, that forge /cooker is epic
Who camps really cool Carlisle love the stove Jim Lane Kansas City Missouri
John, I think you should put a small flap or a cover over the chimney hole to prevent it from getting too damp while your away, not sure if it matters all that much but still.. I have recently been doing bush craft in and near dalston and carlisle and am really enjoying it! Thanks for the inspiration. Kind regards from Daslton
Cool nice to no your enjoying it and thanks for watching hit me up next time your out and will meet up if you won't
HEY TOKERS!! keep up the great work and Roast some meat in the oven!!
Great vid as always John! I'll give ya a challenge, since you made that fantastic broom to tidy up try your skills at a wood bow rake to help in cleaning the floor! I know you can do it quite easily I'm sure!
Great to see you back out again.
Nice one thanks
Nice one thanks
I would love to see you and Tim over here in America, out in one of our national forests... Different environment ya know.. Awesome video of course
Would be fun but I'm a real man don't need a gun to protect myself
Love the videos. Great to see you back. But please be careful. That looks like a galvanized trash can, I know that welding galvanized metal gives off extremely toxic and potentially lethal fumes. Might be the same with if it gets red hot, not sure, but check it out. Have you considered making the chimney out of clay? Like weaving like Bruce's shelter and lining it with clay.
Yeah there is a rust cover over it but we burnt it all off on the fire first before he put it in there
carlisle195 from now on i am one of your fan... from philippines.
These videos are awesome, definitely an inspiration to see how doing something you love can have a positive affect on your life. Thank you for making these videos (:
Thanks for another epic vid jonh. See you next time
Nice one thanks for watching

John welcome back we got use to seeing you 3 times a week when you had time off. You have really built a Cajun village there. Any plans on planting some vegetables in the future or go solar lighting that would be really cool. Hope all is well on your side and have a fantastic weekend.

Epic video Chef . Plenty of bacon & desserts and an awesome fire to keep the bones warm. It`s not an epic failure if you learn a lesson from it lol. I turned 57 today & what a treat to have your new video to watch. I`ll be looking forward to Tim`s video, its always great watching his view as well. Thank You for sharing your video & bringing us along . ATB !
Nice one happy birthday and thanks for watching
Thank You John ! Always my pleasure !
You could use that kiln as a great smoker! Get it nice and hot, throw in some applewood coal/chips and smoke up some chicken or pork!
Jeff Lorch 868684
good stuff!
You've gotta try baking some nan bread in your kiln/furnace/tandoor oven.
ATB Pete
John your camp meals are worthy of a fine establishment . Any time your in Ontario Canada I'd love to take you on a canoe trip if your the chef. Brian 77
Hey ! Finally back ! Missed you guys .
Cool thanks for watching
When you made the shelf for the kiln you said it broke. It might be because you dried it with too much heat. The water in the clay turns to steam and this leaves air pockets making it brittle. Try air dry for a week the slowly heat it up to temperature and let it cool down. That's from the back of my memory in pottery class 40 years ago. Love the videos from both you and Tim. Just found you on Instagram. Waiting to see the finished knives.
Yeah if you watch the video to the end I said the same things at you did
Love the videos u do keep em comeing
Hi John I know this a old video. But I like it .i like when you and Tim do the video together you guys get along really good . Just saying dude
Great to see you're back, love the videos. Just wondering if you're planning on building any more structures there or do something like the last camp with the towers connected by walk ways but this time do it all around your camp? Keep up the good work anyways.
Chocolate Éclairs make everything alright - ATB

Hello John, just a note to say there is an Orb rising from your face at 24.24. I mentioned before about paranormal research relating to development and incidence of an Orb. Awesome : )

You will have to give up that job John , I dont think I can get by with only one vid a week .
I no tell me about it
There were 3 X class solar flares that are hitting the magnetosphere now and for the next 72 hours or so, you are in a high enough latitude that you may get a chance to see some aurora. If you happen to catch it, please post it if you can.
you guys should try making your own charcoal to use in the kiln :P
What's up from Texas
bacon flavored knives
