Solo moss shelter overnight camp and oven cooking apple pie

- Went to the river bank camp for lunch and cooked a apple pie in my oven then went to have a good tidy up at the moss camp spent the night on a raised bed I made in the moss shelter was a good trip used my tripod a lot more in this one big thank for watching

This Idaho granny was raised on a 400 acre farm/ranch, and I love the reaction of those cattle. They must be well handled as calves to be that friendly, and I get a kick out of the way you talk to them. I'm a firm believer that all cows should be mooed at, even when passing in a car (yes, my kids think I'm nuts). Thank you for sharing your love of the outdoors with us, even those of us who can no longer hike and ramble.

Placing cameras where I know a s well as others you are having to walk twice in many areas to get camera footage where you are walking past the camera knowing the camera is stationary. Great video, John. But you must remember that your fan girls extend to the Bovine as well. Those little black and white cow girls love you too. The next time you are enjoying an eclair or some nice whipped cream think of your fans. ;)
I know the feeling, one of my tripods broke--the plastic connector between 2 segments snapped so I could not lock it down when expending that leg so I kept the phone mount and ditched the rest and bought a new tripod, 't s still aluminum but it was in my budget. nice improvement of the first part of the path you walk on to get part way to the camp! glad your camp didn't get flooded out, that would have been a real crapper!!

When you come in the spring if the cows have calves you need to be careful. But I expect you know that.

Hi John, if you could make a harness, like flag bearers have in parades. It's a small tube on a harness, supported around the neck, for your heavy tripod.

They look more like oyster shrooms, though don't take my word for it haha, turkey tails a small in bunches and have a grey / blue texture on (like a turkey tail). Nice vid :) very relaxed camp. ATB - Andy
Yeah I got lots of books on shrooms to start taking out with me brush up on my skills and get some free food

just looked up turkey tail mushroom, what you were looking at I don't think are them. Google showed fan shaped that grow on dead tree's. Bluish grey in colour, looking just like turkey tails.
