That is a beautiful spot, John! You should ask George to bring you back there MANY times and have a real good explore about. Oh and bring Tim, he would LOVE that spot. Hey, I wonder if there are fairies in those great old trees HMMMM, That would be cool , eh? LOL just kidding everyone knows that fairies don't live in tree roots gnomes do. LOL. Looks like you are having a blast ! A change is good . love from Canada
Nice sometimes to camp at a different spot. Thanks for sharing and have a good one.

Super nice video, love the new camping area, Beautiful country Mate...USA
Great video you should try fishing the river in the video
The water looked like sheep dip but yeah next time will give it a go thanks for watching
Ooo My God! U make me hungry again..
Americans had Henry Ford and the first industrialized automobile so we drive on the "right" side of the road. LOL Great video I enjoyed it! I love the scenery there, you have a beautiful country. My people came from Wales to the US in the early 1800s. I have no idea what part though.
Nice video buddy, good to see you somewhere different, but I do like your other camps tho, they're pretty good,
Keep them coming 👍
Beautiful country!
I was taught to make fire with those fungi when I was a kid. You have to boil the strips of fungi in water mixed with ash to infuse it with carbon to make it work, but then it catches sparks and keeps an ember really well.
Cool woods!
Yeah was epic thanks for watching
You seem to be in a pretty cheerful mood this trip can't wait to see what happens I'm watching
Buzzard the bird was ❤️🍏🍎🍊❄️🍹😎
You can eat, more like Glamping than just surviving lol....still looks like great fun
we drive on the right side you drive on the left side lol . awesome videos much respect from across the pond

Nice one Daniel thanks for watching and yeah I can't wait but still got some other spots to check out
I can't be the only one that gets some food ready to eat whilst watching your vids?? I learn quick lol you should have a warning before your vids start....
"munchie attacks will hit you halfway thru this video and a strange craving for frothy coffee could happen"
another epic adventure fella :)
Love the videos
Nice one thanks
This location is beautiful! Loved that log with the mushrooms on it.

Cool thanks for watching
I love it when you post new videos
Love your vids keep em coming
was an awesome trip mate and the meat was epic! can't wait to do it again
I need to go camping with this dude.
This tree at 24:27 is a pine tree (pinus sylvestris), which is at least 150 years old I would guess.
Awesome 👌👍
really enjoyed this trip with you guys. that creek bridge and what looked like man made stones the water was flowed over were fantastic, made my imagination take right over at that point. wonder what the history is behind the bridge, but beautiful countryside with all those rock walls and rocky creeks. those are some amazing looking knives, really liked the one George made. am wondering what survival blade is, never heard of one before. lol, was actually disappointed when the video ended! cheers
I remember hearing we Americans drove on the right as another way to show our rebellion against the crown. I feel I'd crash instantly if I tried the left side. Cheers!
Aaaaaa I didn't no the reasons Thanks for the info and thanks for watching
If I didn't know you gents were in England I would have sworn you were in Arkansas. Nice one.
Picturesque!
That was awesome bro and the teacher taught you something about bushctaft he will have to tick that one up. Hey all the best
Nice to have a change Carlisle, looks like a good spot mate! 👍🏻
Thanks man
Is that the Tesco that was flooded a couple of years ago in Carlisle?
Carl , Just For fun one time ..I say you pack only Ramen noodles and a mountain house meal & act like nothing is out of the norm ;)
Love the vids you are one of my Fav. UA-camrs

My new favourite youtube channel ^+^
awesome video mate and spot! kinda reminds me of my local woods except not as hilly, take care bud, kev
Thanks Kevin yeah was a nice spot some real old trees and lots of fire wood
be epic in winter the views from there and all that firewood
Yeah don't no about strong woods lots of dead standing but would still give it a go
i can imagine you could get rid of the dead standing quick enough haha
I thought Barbed hooks were made illegal? (Could be wrong though)
No not at all I got mine from the fishing shop in town
What's the name of your hammock, and the under cover John. I really need one
Great Video, I would love to go with you sometime. I think I gained ten pounds just watching you. The UK Trail food is like going to a five star restaurant here in the U.S. Nice job my friend.
All the best
Dave Spokane WA USA.
Great video! 27:00 I like very old bridge.
Cool thanks
@7:25, you'd be surprised how old some of that graffiti actually is. The one you said looks more official was carved by the wood warden in 1850..
There is supposed to be markings left by a Roman soldier in the 3rd century on those walls somewhere.. Is this the Roman quarry at Gelt wood?
That place looks lovely, how far from civvy's were you? When I go in Scotland I'm unually about 70m from people. Looks like you had a blast.
Cool thanks for watching
I love the new woods, great trip and video! did you ever identify that tree with the interesting bark? It looked like puzzle pieces.
Heidi Blair this tree was (and hopefully is) a pretty huge and old (at least 150 years) pine tree.
George you know Carlisle has has got to have a big fire wherever he goes LOL LOL
cool video man.
Going to have to upgrade my brew kit .wow yours is big lol
You are so lucky to live where you do in the middle of all our history. Well except for my Indian history.
Hell, I'd camp next to small water fall... Lol
watched
We used to "Ride" on the left side so that if an enemy passed your sword hand was nearest to them..
Good long term shelter building opportunities!.. whatever happened to that Pine forest camp you did John? Is that shelter still kicking?
The right side of the road is definitely the left, depending on what side you're on or what way you're looking..
In Russia they just drive on whichever side they write with, so mostly right, but some drive on the left, which is rather alarming...
Dont fall over - trips on log a second later :D hahaha
Did you go to your new job? Do you drive. I love your videos, they are getting better and better. Well done.
No no and big thanks for watching
New subscriber - loving the vids. Live close to the area you were at - ever had agro from land owners? Or did you get permission?
which forest was this would be great to take my lad, great vid
