nice video, enjoyed as usual.... !!!!!!!!
This Idaho granny truly enjoys watching your videos, far and above all others. You allow we viewers to hike and camp along with you, pointing out the beauty and neat things you see. What an exceptional young man you are. Thank you.
Since you're from Idaho granny and it's such a beautiful state that I was planning on visiting and doing some fishing and camping ,I was just wondering how do you all treat black Americans over there? Is it safe?
@@mar217rocks7 It's safe i live next door in Washington. You dont here much nazi shit anymore fuckin losers.
Hello Carlisle195, I'm werewolf1953 from Layton,Utah ,USA, I love your videos on your shelters, love and enjoy your campfire cooking, and especially when your show us your meals after everything is cooked and you lay it out, and really enjoy your "SWEETS", love it when you display a plate of different sweets on one plate. My name is Rosie and I'm learning "ALOT" on SURVIVAL, SHELTERS and tools, accessories, bedding, finding clay and creating stuff from it, the village you and your friends are building and the tightness and how to survive with different methods of heating, campfires and baking, WOW. This Village site is my FAVORITE, keep up the good work and keep building the Village stronger and prettier or should I say better. TOUCHE!
Thanks for your kind words
every time you cook something it makes me hungry.i love your set up its cool place to hang out nice
Amazing camp. It's coming along wonderfully. Looks like so much fun!! Thanks for sharing
I love your village. It’s so clever. Great place to be creative.
Another great video
Enjoyed your 5 nights great ummy food
'EPIC' is just the right Carlisle195 word for this video! Lots of good outdoor camp tips (brave enough to show a hot water bottle back up for frosty nights and lighter gear); shelter building techniques, appetizing (non-freeze-dried) cooking; plus nature photography of frost, migrating geese...and multi-day views of our favorite camp venue! I'd almost say 'Christmas Came Early' for fans of this channel.
I revisited this 'LIKED' video to remember what the Village was like before Tyson and while you and Tim were building the kiln. 'Should auld acquaintance be forgot?...' (December 26, 2019) So much has changed in two years at the Village.
One of my favorite videos!
Working progress ,,,👍👍👍you and Tim doing great 👍 to the shelter,,,☘️☘️☘️🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺💁🏻♀️just take your time,,,it’s so cold out there,,,again thank you for this video,,,,looking forward to see and view more from you,i like the food 🥘 you always cooking,,some of them, try to cooked ,but my daughter said, something was missing to the taste.,,,me and her liked chicken 🍗and cheese 🧀 hope next time i can make it perfect 👌 again thank you 🙏 so much,,,,
I enjoyed this video and all the others too. Epic! Thank you for the real life enjoyment.
carlisle 195.
I love your stuff. I am from Australia and I love your accent and the way you strive to have
a good time in the woods. I am going through a bad time at present in my life at age 70 but your relaxed friendly style just makes me want to do what you have done.
I have done a lot of travel including Everest base camp in Nepal at age 60. plus many more travels like tiger photo safari in India and other places around the world like Africa UK middle east and so on. Frankly I could bore you.
THE thing is I just love your program. I sit and watch and wish I was there. It relaxes me and takes my mind of present issues.
Keep it up.
Thanks for letting us come along with you again. I think we live our camping experiences by you if we can't get out, thanks again. I can smell that bacon over here in Aussie.
Great video, Sir! Good thing I watch these at home where I have access to numerous snacks...ATB, be well...
A saw horse would make life a lot easier in the village. That would be a good thing to build with your best mate, Tim.
Always great watching your vids!🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
As always, a fun video to watch.
Wow, this is proper wild camping; I would even go as far to say that in my opinion, it’s the best bush craft channel on YT that I’ve watched and I have watched hundreds! I really do envy you. As you say, you are “living the dream.” I wish that I had your energy and strength of mind to do what you do.
I now click on the thumbs up before I even watch your vids. Of course the food that you cook and the yummy cakes that you take with you is a huge bonus. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us all. ATVB. Steve.
Great video buddy showing us how you camp out safely and securely, awesome, many thanks.

suggestion, maybe you and tim could build a water collector so you can start gathering water at the village, and you could also make your own smoked/dried meats and stuff :) really loved this video :) looking forward to see whats next :)
Good video as always, keep up the good work.
Sorry for your storm damage. I know you will get it back into shape. At least lightning didn't hit and start a fire. Glad you are safe.

Great video this week John..
Great change up with the video with the still shots.. nice to see a change of scenery at the end of the video shame that you run out of power though.. Can't wait to see the next video👍👏☺
another great watch mate.
that was grand lad, just grand!
You need to build doors or gates so them cows don’t get in again!!! I wish I could visit your village!!!! I love it!! ❤️ oh where’s your dog?!!
When you were eating that pork I don't think I've ever hated some on so much :)
Great vid john love what u done to the village all the best shaine
The cows like you they all came thank y.
what fun love the live chats too
It is interesting to see the geese. Here in Soviet Somersworth, New Hampshire, we used to have thousands of geese flying overhead in spring and fall. They would stop and rest in a 40 acre field nearby, which is always planted to corn. In fall they would eat the piles of chopped corn left by the harvesters. Maybe the last five years, there have been almost no geese. Spring or fall, we see maybe four or five geese flying and calling, or none at all.
Hi John was great joining in on live chat again as usual looked as if u had a great 5 nites out and mind the chees n jam for your croissants on the next outing lol
John fantastic video I enjoyed watching the live feeds too it was good to see you again. I can’t believe you ate all that food and stay so thin. Hope you got back uneventful and safe. Have a great weekend. Maybe one day I fly to England and do a wild camp with you guys and bring Ben from living survival channel.
Dun good job there man looking good
Ever think about growing some herbs on the roofs of your shelters ??? That way they would be handy for cooking etc.
Great stuff John- love it!
hi, I have been following your blog for the past years and have a suggestion for you on building a solid wall of logs behind the structures for a solid wind breaker that help. look forward to more vids.
Enjoyed!
Epic video John, I hope the bacon held out lol. You even managed to get some cow whispering in lol. Thank You for sharing your video, and bringing us along. ATB
All good stuff John, lovin the new entrance - ATB
Gŕeat vid as usual bud..also my daughter is probably ur youngest viewer at 2 yr old..she wants ur bacon butty lol glad to see village still going good..
See if you can get a solar powered Luci Lamp. They are about £25 but there is a cheaper one half the price. The light from the one I saw on Girl in the Woods was brilliant. Easy to see to work in the evening and light lasts a fairly long time so long of course the sun shines.
Hello John 😊
Gregory here from Reno Nevada, was wondering if you have an iPhone? If so I think a SloMo video of a raging fire would be a great addition to your already awesome camp videos... Take care😊👍
Oh my goodness your as slim as a reed and you each so much delicious fattening food ... you ate a whole cream sponge after eating two huge bacon butties. I assume you live in Carlisle with one foot in Scotland because your so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Thats 3 full moons on 3 different days. I think what I am watching is about a year old. I hope you have continued to make more video's please. ( Londoner)
john the work you've done is unreal mate you should charge us for a weekend at johns village lol I would gladly pay only if breakfast and dinner is included in the price haha atb iain.
When your laying in bed you remind me of mr bean 😂 great vid 👍🏼
Great video as always. Do you ever consider de-barking your wood before building your shelters or smaller projects? Keep up the excellent work & thx!
Do you prefer a particular type of Wall more than another. Which ones last the longest? I think the branches stacked between four branches, like the firewall type would be the most durable. But how about doing that and an additional willow wall inside for double insulation? Is that possible or just too much for little reward? I don’t think I’ve seen one yet where you put anything down to keep it from getting muddy. Can you put stuff to help with that? Always enjoy seeing what your going to cook. Anything but fish. You can have my share. Thanks for sharing.
Mmmmmm Bacon!!! Love this vid John smashed it :)
Hahaha. Glad to see some American bacon. Lmao. Another great video and trip man.
A hot water bottle, nice!!! Sure could have used one of those when I was hiking in the rockies here in Canada. Thanks for the tips about watching the fat while cooking chicken on a wood fire, hope to give it a try this winter just outside the house:). That's a beautiful door, well done! Is the river camp warmer for sleeping? Cheers!
in vite more people if you can man so you can have the shelters you built go to use!
AWESOME VIDOES DUDE
5 nights! Whoop whoop.
Hi👍👍👍
awesome vids mate
What a junkyard
Wow 5 days the debris shelter looks amazing I like the fact that you keep evolving it
Quick question for you what’s happened to Garry haven’t seen him in any of the videos in a long time
3 hour walk to the river camp well worth the walk
Just found your channel, and love the content... subbed!
Thanks
Edgewood Outdoors how weird I saw you in the comments
Love your vids ! Please keep posting. Anything you like from USA ( food ) that you can't get in UK ? That could be sent to you ? I once sent 4 big packs of Thomas's English Muffins to a friend in Bern Switzerland. She loves them. Wish I was there hanging out sometimes. Especially around dinner time. 😁
Hiya mate, brilliant video as ever, and looks like you had a cracking five nights out, did speak to you on your live chat which was cool, and looks like you ate like a King as usual. Just a quick question, have you considered building/making a small log/wood burner or a fireplace in one of your shelters now winter is here? anyway, thanks for posting and looking forward to the next one mate, all the best. Nick
