Great information. Thanks. Sad to see how few people watch stuff like this. Keep it up. 👌

A lot of great info here, but what I don't understand is promoting seafood as cleaner than "land meat" - Given that studies on ocean and waterway toxicity are showing huge levels of heavy metals, pollutants and plastics found in seafood - Many advisory boards saying you shouldn't have seafood more than once per week.
Again like you say, it's all about the quality of the source of that food... But unfortunately our oceans and lakes are no longer clean either :(

Hey Ryan, thank you for your comment! In the video, we didn't dive deep into the specifics, but seafood is no different than land animals in terms of quality. Eating smaller fish such as wild-caught sardines and anchovies is one of the cleanest sources of protein you can find and completely different than eating larger fish like tuna where heavy metals have moved up the food chain and accumulated. Seafood can likely be eaten by most people, multiple times a week, depending on where it is sourced and the type of fish. We would encourage you to focus on smaller, fatty fish like wild-caught sardines, anchovies, mackerel, and salmon. Limit consumption of larger fish that are more likely to have high levels of metals and toxins like tuna to not more than once a week or every other week. Safe Catch is one of the best companies when it comes to screening for heavy metals and we buy it off Thrive Market. We also like Wild Planet mackeral and sardines which we also buy off of Thrive. Take care!
