    🔐Schlage Kwikset Sargent and Yale locks should be used on your front door. Lock pickers and criminals will have a hard time picking any of these locks. The only way you can stop brute forced entry is with a good surveillance camera. Subscribe to my locksmith channel to learn more🗝

      You’re so welcome I’m shooting a video renaming locations in the expensive briefcase I might as well use it seeing as I paid just under $100 for it. I use lacquer thinner to erase the original names of the pics and using a silver sharpie for my list of pics, you’ll see in the video. Thanks again.

    SC1 & SC4 are for the Schlage “C” keyway whereas the SC20 is the Schlage “L” all section key and work in C, CE, E, EF, F, FG, & G keyways; that’s why the SC20 is so thin. If you don’t work with Schlage keyways outside of the C, which is far and away the most common, then you don’t need an SC20. Also you can usually use 6 pin Lishi’s in 5 pin locks either on their own or with a spacer. Also Beat are a tip stop key and PIN numbers are reversed from traditional bow stop keys so if you’re using the 7 pin in a 6 pin lock, which will work, just remember don’t try to pick space 7 in a 6 pin lock. Also Best is also only for the “A” keyway which is a small portion of Best keyways of which there are a lot.

    • @doorandlocktips
      @doorandlocktips  14 днів тому +1

      The SC20 is by far the absolute best lock pick for my choice in my opinion it just works so fast and easy after using all 3 of them it just picks faster and better
      This is for what it’s worth that’s my tip of the day you heard it here the SC20 is by far the best Lishi it so far outweigh the other two that there’s no comparison you just buy all three and tell me what you think I have all three and I’m telling you what I think forget about the others 2 you don’t need a spacer at all for the SC20 it picked straight out of the box you’ll see if you owned it put your pick where the sun is shining right in the face of those locks and tell me what you really think. I really wanna know.

      So what are you saying? Don’t get the lishi for the A flavor 99% of the best cylinders are A i’m just saying for what it’s worth it be crazy not to have it. I mean, just plain Ludacris laughing stock crazy not to own it so what are you saying? Don’t get it it’s so cheap. It’s so wonderful. Why wouldn’t you it’s spectacular so you’ll spend all day playing around with those other picks, I’d take a drill out and just blast through it. I wouldn’t really mess with anything. Thats not a flavor A They’re only 12 bucks apiece. Who cares about picking them anyway then you get a job which is what you want anyway so what are you saying don’t buy the A pick I don’t get it

    I've used my Lishi Y11 and Y13 in wafer locks and they work just fine. They work in both clockwise and counter clockwise tension. Makes cutting a new key so much easier than decoding it by looking down the "unlocked" picked keyway.
    Give it a try sometime.

    Nice video, it would have been a little more useful if you were to optimize the set so that we know which ones are multi-purpose so that we don't waste money. For example, SC4 can do SC1, KW5 can do KW1, -L is just the left hand version, etc.

I don’t work on cars and you can pretty much pop open a car lock with the yellow finger tool so I wouldn’t bother with them at all that’s just my personal feelings I don’t work on cars so I don’t really mess with those Lishi’s.

      @@noneovyerbusiness4909 oh, I see what you’re talking about. That’s a common problem that’s not a big issue you have to cut three or four keys anyway when you’re making a duplicate key when you read with lishi it’s with every manufacturer that you will read the key on lishi pick I don’t care if it’s best or Sargent or whatever doesn’t matter you’ll never get the accurate reading the first time you may just buy accident but really you’re gonna have to cut maybe five or six keys before you really get one that works I should probably make a video of that every manufacture just put your mind arrest of every Lock will have this issue. There’s lots of old hardware, especially at Billings being torn down, oryou can even stop in at your local hospital and see if they’ve got some cylinders or things of that nature laying around in there boneyard make sure to sanitize everything with Windex.
