Dark Cloud Glitch - Infinite Defense

- Food, stand-in/revival powders, and defense power-ups are now almost completely useless. With this glitch, you will never take damage from anything except poison and possibly explosions from large chests.

It should still be active when you save and reset.
Thank god enemies dont get abilities like critical, that would one shot you regardless of defense.

This is the NTSC version. There is no known way to get the glitch menu in the PAL version yet.

You can still access areas, but if you go to dark heaven castle or yellow drops, you'll be stuck there.

So I get to the part where you add the broken daggers from row 7 and 9 to slots 1 and 2 on the chopper sword then open shop and get the glitch item, open attachment menu and bring glitch item all the way to the left but the shop menu never disappears. And everytime I try again another slot from my item menu becomes unavailable.

The stars indicate how many Synth Spheres you used on that weapon.

What are those stars on your swords? What do they do? And how do you get them?
those stars are just markers to show how how many synthspheres were fused into it. though i don't think there's an upwards limit to the number of synthspheres you can fuse to a weapon. at least until the weapon +level is maxed out.

How did you get that particular music for Norune village?? I always miss hearing that music after the first visit to DBC! :(
At the time, I edited the song into some of these videos since I prefer that song over Norune Village's usual theme.

Put your cursor on the weapon slot that you placed the weapon on that activated the glitch, then press X. Your defense should be back to 0. WARNING: Doing this will partially delete your world map.
What do you mean by partially delete the world map?

Even though it's been a year. and you prob. found it allready but. Easy way. Buy a few Kitchen Knives from Jack. then go to Norune/Nolun Village. then use the Broken Dagger Glitch. Use the Dagger on Both slots and Sell it. and DING you've got a lot of Gilda to spend.

What are the stars with 10's in them?
+K3NatCSS When applying weapons with status broken weapons (Whether transferring stats or ablities), you get a yellow star in the screen for the particular weapon. Similar to tallies, when you get to ten starts, the game condenses them into one star with a 10 on it, enabling you to do it many many times and still know how many status broken weapons went into your one.
Just got the platinum for this game, no cheats tho
Same here. It's not too difficult. Just time consuming w/o cheats.
