About to boot up the masterpiece. Haven't played it since I was a kid probably a year or 2 after it came out so I'm excited. Thanks for throwing this video on here! I remember money being a huge pain point so this'll help in the late game for sure.

As of Jan 2021 this glitch still works. I had toan have his default dagger equipped when I did it.
Glitch worked for me first try 1 Oct 2022. Thanks!

I didn't get any broken daggers. I literally just got the moon key for the temple, and flat squares that changed their image when I moved them around in my inventory. PS4 version

@@Nooblitz_74 I noticed that if you keep equipping the dagger after the glitch, it's a guarantee broken dagger attachment 😂
My game crashed on the ps4 when i did it. I got a strange square and accidentally sold it back right away and down she went lol.
I can’t get the money glitch to happen on the PS4 version?
As of 2024, I can’t sell it to a store without the price being the base value. The weapons still maxed out but I can’t get any gold out of it
Nevermind, I found out a few things.
1. If it seems to not be working, I equip a different sword, then go back to the dagger.
2. If it sells for only base value, change regions and let time pass. I think it was evening and I waited until morning then the price went to 4k, then eventually 16k
When I equipped it my weapon deals no damage😢
Can you upgrade the weapons with the glitch?
Yes you still can just Tiv just add it as attachment and level up the weapon you wish.
Note I wouldn't recommend using these glitches for beating the game as that's shows no fun and adventuring in that case but still hope you enjoyed the video.
Note I have legit version for max money in the playlist for people who don't want to use this as well now.
@GordoScarface it will certainly drop around those dungeons gotta do alot of reruns in the dungeon by then you should have plenty of weapons. Those steve is chest related rng based all though there is fishing weapons but i find not needed with enough runs in those two dungeon and building up weapons from there base weaponrys to new weapons

Does this work on the PS4 version
Yes note there different versions of the game if your in us version then yes this works but if its different versions won't as you may need to try different ways to make it work. Note I did this on ps4 version. Note there are different versions in different areas.
As much as I love dark cloud the money system is poorly design when you go dungeons the money you make when you kill monsters you mostly make less and items cost more. Even grinding the final dungeon for money doesn't help I'm glad this glitch exists
I truly understand you on that one.
Just step on the circles and they will possibly double your money.
Once you get to queens It's Easy, just aim to fish for garayans between dusk and Dawn with poisoned apples and potato cakes at matataki village and later on muscka lacka, get FP and buy gems, then the you can sell any stat booster attachments you get, also fish baits. Ive maxed out most weapons and filled up Gilda AND gold bullion reserves even before the dark castle using this method, also go to as many backrooms as you can, queens is specially good for grinding since you can buu 2 or 3 fresh fish at a Time and use them in a row before they rot.

My file, the first shop keep doesnt have all those items. I am currently in the demon shaft. How do I get him to have all those items?

What items does your first shop keep have for example. Cause depends on your version of the game as well so let me know when can ok.
@@Nooblitz_74 bread, water, repair powder, automatic repair, revival powder, stand in powder, escape powder, antidote, and gold bullion.
I got a couple broken daggers thanks to your video, but I'm curious how to get all those items in the first store.
