The easy way to level up the monster transformations is to have Monica kill the enemies, then the moment they die, you hit the R3 button and gather the ABS with the transformation.
as a note about the diamonds you can get 1 from donny and 1 from a spheda reward from the "battle with rats" floor in the underground channel but you can also get 2 more pretty easy. one from gundorada workshop in the future from a chest that appears in chapter 6 and one from a spheda prize in the moon flower palace from the floor "Scary Women". other than that it is a very good video with some good tips
I got 4 Diamonds. the first from Donny the second from battle of rats spheda the third from scary women spheda the fourth from gundorada future tiny box.
Mhm. I agree that even though monster transformations are a cool concept, they were just done poorly. It's too bad they weren't buffed in the PS4 release. If you really like the idea of monster transformations, look into Shifters on the PS2. I might have a bit of nostalgia goggles on it, but the game revolves around monster transformations, so the monsters actually evolve and get stronger by end-game.
I used to think that if I level ground it enough the reptile badge would eventually get to the point I could transform into a dragon. Course I also barely understood what I was doing in the game and eventually it got to the point where I was only able to beat enemies by using Steve on literally every level. Though it was pretty funny to load up on the miniguns equip the propeller and just gun down Gaspard.

The Monsters I really liked but except for the Gemron dragon which was actually worth using they are all crap and a pain to level up. It would have been better if they scaled more to where you are up to in the game and if they weren't linked to Monica's health, so you could play the skeleton die, and then use monica.
If you need level up quicker, go to the Moon Flower Palace and kill an enemy as Monica. As soon as you kill it, pause and transform to the Monster Transformation you want to level up. I leveled up my Rat really quick doing this.
doing it in Moon flower means you can still get the medals in moon flower for monster transform. but yeah its quicker in the mines, also if you have level +99 five star and Island king swords (level up powders) you get a pretty hefty amount of XP from angel coins ABS bonus.
i always just saved the game before and didn't need throbbing cherries. if i failed to hit them with the capsule then i reloaded the save game :| and yeah it requires some timing with flying enemies but definitely doable
I only have 2 diamonds left and I'm already at Moon Flower Palace. I see there's still card type enemies in the Zelmite Mine though. Does anyone know if I'm still able to get all the monster badges or am I screwed?
Bro.....99? So max gets a crazy big robot machine and Monica gets to run around like a damn rat......who ever was in charge of the monster transformation stats and levels when they made the game should of got fired.
From what I remember you will always get the weakest version of whatever type of monster you catch. So if you use premium chicken to get a beast badge from the Ram you will still end up with a low level sewer rat.
spheda in the underground channel for me was not extremely difficult for me. I am not meaning brag at all. I still need one more diamond and I have over 600 hours in this game and I wasted a diamond like an idiot and saved stupidly
Hopefully you damaged the skeleton first with a weapon that doesn't kill it in one hit and then hit it with the holy water. It worked for me right away.
Thanks for the glowing review. 9:55 is for the magical creature badge. You gift 3 sturdy rocks to a Statue. That will get you the one with the balloon monster.
If you fully level up every single monster badge a screen pops up saying "Congratulations! you have no life!"

underground channel has the hardest speedrun and spheda EVER!!!

Damn, i just used my Donny diamond on a weapon yesterday before I saw this video.
Feels bad
I got 4 Diamonds.
the first from Donny
the second from battle of rats spheda
the third from scary women spheda
the fourth from gundorada future tiny box.
Also, depleting their anger meter as the monster of the same type, they will attack you regardless.
any level bomb will work on Bomber head, actually. I did it with improved bombs.
It's not a huge deal, but you can pick up gift capsules off the ground if they miss their target. just don't throw it off a cliff or down in a pond.
Hey bro you still playings lols im playing it like right now hahah

+Rottmann870 I agree with you lol! you have to spend many hours on a gemron badge to level 99 just to be a badass lol!
There's one Diamond in Gundorada Workshop next to a shop on the first floor.

Gemron dragon has the lowest final tier stats

I did the same thing, but instead of Moon Flower Palace, I went to the Zelmite Mine.

You smart, why I didn't think about that for?
I just threw holy water (two, I think) at the skeleton until it died, but either way works.
Thanks for the hel!

actually mate. When you get monster badge to level 99 like the gemron badge, froggy level 99 and other badges to 99, they are are really good lol!
Bro.....99? So max gets a crazy big robot machine and Monica gets to run around like a damn rat......who ever was in charge of the monster transformation stats and levels when they made the game should of got fired.
I use 3xcheese capsule on Rat, there is a music sheet above his head, but when I kill it, it didn't drop it badge, why?
You sure like to collect things.
can you catch the transformed monster that is already leveling up already rather than the weaker version of the monsters ???
From what I remember you will always get the weakest version of whatever type of monster you catch. So if you use premium chicken to get a beast badge from the Ram you will still end up with a low level sewer rat.
@@mikeJRthe2ndwhat about the card monsters from zelmite mines?
What the hell do you give the balloon heads for the badge
I turned into a mimic

thanks a lot
I wanna give up on the stupid skeleton/undead badge so annoying!

I wish you wouldve shown how to get every single monster that’s what the fuck we’re here for 🙄🙄🙄

Nice video......but watch the language! Kids are watching this too.
Robert Lopresti shut the fuck up man
Welcome to the internet. Kids too young to hear cussing shouldn't be on here anyway.
