    If Burton only knew how many hours of Fear Factory I have listened to and felt. I have always related to Zero Signal so much. I don't know how fulfilling Burton's career feels to him some days, but I hope he knows that a lot of us out here think he hung the moon!

      Yes sir me as well, I actually seen them 4 my 1st time in 1995 and through the years many many times. Going to a FF show is a religious experience for me as well as so many, there music is a genre of there own and Burton has been the driving force for over 30yrs until just last month quitting the band and focusing on his side project Ascension of the Watchers as a full time gig now due to all the years of the bandmates continuous law suits among each other.

      Same. I clearly remember playing Car-mageddon, this old 16 bit pc game where you drive this car fast over ramps etc and mow over people and animals. Lol. Demanufactured was the main song on that game. I was hooked. I was 14 🤘🤘

    Fear Factory's song "Self Bias Resister" helped me get out of a REALLY bad relationship......
    -All these years they've tried to break you to your knees
    -Anger scours right through your veins
    -Now it's time to put an end to all the lies
    -Now it's time to take control of your own life
    That chorus gave me the courage to leaves a really bad relationship

    • @slayermill8621

      It's amazing how music can do that, especially when it comes to the metal/ heavier genre's. For people who don't listen to metal they just hear screaming or whatever and pass their judgments, but they don't realize there's some legitimate meaning to the music that can help people. While it wasn't a toxic relationship, my first serious relationship ended many years ago in high school and I was devastated. The album Perseverance by Hatebreed came out around that time and it seriously got me through that rough patch in my life. Music is an amazing thing.

    Wow, I totally blew that song interpretation for 22 years. I thought it was about an individual, through exposure to a world of hate, being replicated. The original innocent person dies, while the replication, replicated to respond to and survive in a world of hatred, lives on. And now tries to find meaning. Damn.

      Well, same as I did. But then, giving it a second thought, that's actually exactly what Burton is saying about the meaning of the song. So, I'd say: your words exactly match what he was trying to say - you can put it like a blueprint over the concept of being conceived by rape.

    • @Urstadt18
      @Urstadt18 3 роки тому +1
